Restore Toshiba R100 discs - windows start cycles

Help, please

I have a restored my R100 from the factory records building. It seems segment disks correctly (but I don't know how to check). In whatever mode, I try my windows xp professional doesn't start. It simply runs through the process and begins again. In normal mode, this happens after 4 minutes.

Any help would be welcome.

Please consider me as a Virgin technique... a lot of language BACK I am familiar. Sorry...

Hello

If I understand you just the recovery procedure completes successfully. Am I right about that?
On the partitions, it is not necessary to check this. You can check when the operating system works well.
Can you please tell me when the problem occurs? That's when the WXp of installation ends or what?

    Hello

Have you changed anything on your laptop?
I mean if your HARD drive recovery partition has been changed or the data partition thin o has been removed?

To be honest, for me, it looks like the issue of the BONE. I think that it s not a question of simple tool, but I think that the operating system was confused

Maybe you should try to recover the laptop using Toshiba HDD recovery and after the new installation of operating system on your laptop, you can try to create the recovery disk again.

To start the recovery, you must press the F8 key immediately after the laptop has been powered. Then, you choose the first option called fix my computer.
This would lead to a new window and there, you could choose Toshiba HDD recovery.

But note; This recovery would format the whole HARD drive then perhaps you need to back up data before you start this procedure.

  • Cannot start my TOSHIBA Recovery Disc Creator

ERROR: "(5) to C:\Program Toshiba Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator\Setenv.ini were denied access."
    What should I do?

    Hello

I don't know what the problem is here, but the only thing you can try is to install the operating system with recovery image in the hope after the new installation of OS, that this tool will not work correctly.

The recovery image is recorded on the second partition of HARD drive and to start the recovery installation press F8 after starting your laptop. In advanced startup options, select the first option to fix my computer. When the system recovery options are shown, please choose the last option in recovery Toshiba. After doing this just follow the on-screen menu.

When the operating system is installed, try using Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator. I recommend you use high quality DVD-R media.

    Hey mate,

I doubt it will work. I mean, after the installation of Windows 7, there is not image files that you can burn on the recovery disk. So it does not work in my opinon.

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)
Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:
The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.
(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

After the first reboot, set the BIOS to boot from the hard drive.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    With greetings.

    Hello Igor

In my opinion, you must create recovery disk before upgrade you to Win7. I did the same thing.
Later, if something goes wrong, you can use your disks and install Vista using the created recovery disks.

I don't understand why you want to wait and create these disks after upgrade. This recovery creator disc doesn t create recovery image in the current state, but always the same recovery image, you got with your laptop.

TEMPRO should work in Win7 too.

  • Satellite L650 - 12K - restore the factory with Windows password settings?

    Hello

Today I received my new Toshiba Satellite L650 - 12K. I went through the process of "first use" and put in place my name of user and password Windows 7 etc.

However, after a reboot, when I tried to enter my password to connect to Windows, it says it is incorrect. I tried different combinations of password I used (I know what it's like I wrote it down at the time)-ive tried caps, plugs etc but nothing works.

If I order the Toshiba recovery disks I will be able to return the laptop to factory settings and start the installation again, including Windows?.

PS - I only put an account so can't even connect you as another user.

Thanks for your time and your help.

    Gary2802.

    Hey Buddy,

Yes, the Toshiba recovery disc can restore the initial configuration (on the box settings) even you don t know the password because it will remove the whole HARD disk and restore the version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba.

So don t you worry about this, Toshiba Recovery disk will help you! ;)

    Hello

What you are experiencing is an intermittent BlackScreen so here how to solve the problems that is they
become more persistent but I hope that the foregoing will eliminate the.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
by tapping F8 as you start several times.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.

  • How to restore factory settings when Windows does not load?

I'm recovering from the laptop (Dell Inspiron N5010) friend who has been infected with a malware ransom (ICE Cyber Crime Center Backdoor.Win32.ZAccess.erds). I used the Kapersky rescue disc to remove the virus from the ransom but now Windows will not load and I suspect that the MBR has been affected.  At startup, the Dell logo appears and the window loading appears briefly, but then you have the 'blue screen of death' flashes and the cycle repeats.   The bsod error is:

A PROBLEM HAS BEEN DETECTED AND WINDOWS HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN TO AVOID DAMAGE

IF THIS THE FIRST TIME YOU ' VE SEEN THIS STOP ERROR SCREE.

RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. IF THIS SCREEN APPEARS AGAIN, FOLLOW

The F2 and F12 keys work, but the F8 key will not open the "Advanced Boot Options", so I can't to the "Restore Dell DataSafe and emergency Backup" or any other advanced option.  System Restore will not work either.

I ran chkdsk and sfc hard disk (via the Kapersky Rescue disk) and neither solved the problem.  Then I copied its data on the hard drive.

I would like to restore the laptop to factory settings (assuming that it would be better to reinstall Windows because the drivers Dell would be included already?).   There is a folder on the hard disk called "emergency" and contains a Backup*.exe file and several Backup*.dsb files.

Is given this scenario, possible to restore to factory settings?  Or am I forced to reinstall Windows from scratch?

    What version of Windows?

7b error message indicates the operation SATA (SATA Mode) setting got changed in the BIOS Setup or possibly the hard drive may be roasted.

Restart, and then press F2 before Windows starts to load to open the BIOS Setup. Look for the option SATA or SATA Mode operation (models name it differently).  I don't see the BIOS screen options in the online manual, but the options for this parameter can be: RAID, AHCI or RAID Autodetect / ATA. Post back and we say exactly what options are available and how she got now.

If you are in the BIOS Setup, also find the Boot Sequence option and make sure that the internal hard drive is ranked first on the list. If it is not first, move it to all first, save the changes and exit the installation program. See if it boots now.

If you reinstall Windows by using a Windows Dell reinstall drive, you should not ask for the product key. It should install automatically by itself. HOWEVER, you will need to have the product keys for all the other apps that you want on this system, for example Microsoft Office, so make sure that you have the product keys and the floppies to install before you clean the hard drive.
