  I had a lot of problems like myself.  Invariably, I find that the bug is my code.  Usually, it is not difficult to find using the appropriate debug or SimpleDateFormat (because times are difficult to interpret, it is good to let the system do it for you!).  I suggest you do the same thing here.

  If you find that the system does not have it that you wait, then give us the details, for example, give us the long value that you provide to the calendar and the time you go out. You should be able to do it in two or three lines, just using the standard Java RIM (i.e. None of your classes).  You can also indicate the time zone that you are testing in.

  You can set the field "Show Time under" in almost the same way as the field 'private '.  Except that you have to use extensions to PIM JSR75 API RIM, which are located in the net.rim.blackberry.api.pdap package.  The BlackBerryEvent.FREE_BUSY field is an INT field that stores this value, and you want to BlackBerryEvent.FB_BUSY.  The code below shows

• The time in the calendar works with an hour between start and end time

  Until recently, calendar worked OK but now only allow me to have a time of an event if I try to put the first gestures of time within an hour of arrival times longer.

  There is a symbol link to the right of the time of departure and arrival. If the points are in contact with the time interval that you have in the calendar (by default 60 minutes) options will be kept when you change the time. Click on this symbol, and the points will be away and stop this action.

  I'm not sure you want to change that, but the value by default, as far as I KNOW, is governed by the calendar > Preferences > selection of St day begins.

  I use an encoder in quadrature with DAQmx 6259, the call to read the outputs of the meter is slow, much slower than the sampling rate? No idea why?

  I want to add a new event to the calendar, but when I do gets set to a time zone from the casablanca time which means GMT, I want to solve it the current time zone of users.  What is happening now is that if the user manually changes the time zone then the start time of the event changes too.

  I have a specific date at which I entered in a calendar object using the following:

  Now I'd put this in a Date object, so I can do some running on it and then convert back to a calendar object. Is there a simple way to do this? Or is it just not possible? I would liketo finish with a Date object that represents the time as in the calendar object. Help, please.

  Calendar.setTime (Date of) sets the calendar date.

  Date d = Calendar.getTime () becomes the object of Date in the calendar.

  My problem is that I can't properly store the time in the calendar! What I'm saying.

  I get a date as a String form a JSON (ex: 2010-08-09 15:15) and I analyze! So far so good.

  But when I store an event in the calendar with the date and the time, it is saved as 2010/08/09 18:15 therefore to the time zone of the device. Any ideas how to get the time from string?

  I looked like this:

  I'm relatively new to Blackberry, my Motorola Q would make a synchronization of calendar in real time with my Outlook calendar on my pc at home.   Wireless calendar synchronization is available only for BES users at this point, so if you or your business to work with a Blackberry Enterprise / Professional Server, then you will have sync wireless real-time.

  However, if you use the BIS service, you can only synchronize with Blackberry Desktop Manager with your PC.
