  You receive the following error IN Oracle Forms:

  FRM-41353: cannot start another form of appeal.

  Explanation of the problem:
  ====================

  A common cause of this error IF you went to a form of peers AND made a call
  form. For example, you performed a CALL_FORM FROM a form that has been opened WITH
  built-in OPEN_FORM:

  CALL_FORM()
  OPEN_FORM()
  OPEN_FORM()
  CALL_FORM()-> FRM-41353: Cannot start another form of appeal.

  Description of the solution:
  =====================

  FRM-41353 can occur because there are restrictions ON CALL_FORM-> OPEN_FORM
  interaction. An open form cannot run the procedure CALL_FORM if a string
  Forms called has been initiated BY another open form.

  When you call multiple forms WITH the name of OPEN_FORM AND CALL_FORM in the same
  application, you should be aware of certain restrictions apply:

  Navigation:

  Any attempt TO programmatically access a form disabled IN a form of appeal
  battery IS rejected.

  Forms of the call:

  An open form cannot run the CALL_FORM if procedure a string called
  forms was initiated BY another open form.

  For example:

  ------------------------------
  Together, form A, form B AND form E represent the current call stack IN form
  the application. IF form C attempted to call a form WITH CALL_FORM, FRM-41353
  would occur because of the restriction that an open form may not issue a

  Explanation of the solution:

  When you call a modal form BY running CALL_FORM, calling form IS

• Restrict possible seekbar navigation?

  With the help of CP8

  I have a client who request the withdrawal of the progress bar because they don't want to the learner to be able to jump in front of a bunch of content. I like having the progress bar as it indicates the progression and the AIDS to navigation.

  The only thing that stops the progress bar is used to skip past all the slides are quiz slides where the learner is required to answer the question before them. Is it possible simulate this for the non-quiz slides so that the learner can not draw the progress on several slides bar? So clicking on an object such as a button ACCORDING to "submit the right answer" for this slide?

  This is a repost of my solution that works to restrict navigation. Creates a new so I could not change the original message.

  You would follow this procedure to prevent someone from using the seekbar component jump over several slides in time.

  ------

  A nice enough to do this for my case solution. I think that this only works if you use the buttons/objects on the screen to navigate vs using the button Next on the PlayBar.

  • When you create a button NEXT , go to the reports section and check the box include in the questionnaire . You'll want Next on each slide button to have it.
  • I unchecked both the 2 boxes below. You have to have at least a point.

  

  • In Preferences-->Quiz--> Reporting, uncheck the activate this draft declaration for
  • In Preferences-->Quiz--> parametersin the required list, choose the entry "answer all...» ».
  • Clear the other check boxes as needed.
  • In Preferences-->Quiz--> success or failure, put 0% or more of the total number of points to spend and change If lack of rank in infinite attempts.

  Now, if a learner trying to rub past any slide it is on, they will not be allowed to.

  Then I read the comment by Frank Nimphius in the post below, saying that "+ why don't you use a method call or (even better) activity a router) if it is to lead users from different points of view? "The approach to the use of HandleNavigation is not optimal.

  The problem is where the p_status isn't NEW or PROJECT, the message is displayed, but then detail page also shows. I just want to display the message only and not navigate to the next page. How to solve this problem?

  I am doing an application using DPS with images zoomable the only means, that the user can navigate to another page by clicking on the buttons. With other words, know DPS I don't want the user to be able to scroll down to the next page or on the side to join the next article?

  There is no way to disable the navigation by scanning. There is a solution, however.

  Place a full blank screen MSO on each page the value in use to move to the next slide.

  I locked a customer using the editor of strategy for Windows 7.
  and I want to restrict a user to a site only via a shortcut of firefox on the desktop and restrict their access on the local system drive that is currently vulnerable using the navigation bar. I know not how to do a right click and rmeove, but the user can put this back calm down easily and then locate anywhere on the local computer or the web.

  You would probably need to run Firefox in a sandbox that does not allow access to the local file system to get this working properly.

  I've seen a few questions about this in the Microsoft Answers forum, but 2 / 3 times the official response was unrelated to the question asked. So, to be clear, I'm not talking about watching live TV, navigation in my TV guide, TV recording, or watch recorded TV shows. It's strictly about the availability of the property and to navigate to find full episodes on Internet TV.

  There are a few ridiculous clips ginormous and only a small handful of full episodes. I hate clips. In a busy life, they are the opposite of the useful. So, instead of going through every single show individually to see if it contains full episodes, I want a way to browse shows with full episodes. Is this a problem of training or an enhancement request? Is there a way to filter the full episodes only?

  I would also like to be able to filter my search of full episodes. It seems ridiculous to me if I want to just full episodes, I have to go through a long list of clips in the search results to find. Again... ask for the issue or the development of training?

  I'm also confused why some shows that have full episodes on the site of the network do not have full episodes in WMC Internet TV. I know it's a matter of content and perhaps not something, you can contact... is it be restricted by networks?

  All the content comes from the provider.  I hate watching the clips too and there is not much Microsoft can do about it. It is sometimes frustrating to go through all the clips to find full episodes. The only thing you can do is to provide feedback to microsoft to enhance the functionality of Media Center search to find full episodes.

  Normally, this comes in two flavors BIS/Personal or Enterprise. Unless you are going to connect with exchange e-mail service, you can choose the least expensive option.

  I use the universal theme (42) in APEX 5.0 and I have a list of said Navigation

  List1 - this list consist say consist of a list entry 3

  Home - no parent - target - 1 page

  Child - Parent (home) - target - 2 page

  Page big child - Parent (child) - target - 3

  When I use the position of Navigation - side

  All the three list entry works fine, I mean when I click on home or child or Grand child he goes to the respective page of 1, 2 and 3.

  When I change the position of Navigation in the top

  -entry of the list two works great – when I click on home or big kid, he goes to the respective page of 1 and 3.

  - BUT when I click on child (2nd entry list) - is not a nothing, it goes to Page 2. - WHY?

  WHY the child (2nd list entry) - works very well with the position of 'Side', but does not work with 'Top '?

  The answer is simple. Sub menu items have no other action that open the submenu so that they cannot navigate. The top-level menu items allow the features of split where they can navigate and fall down. This behavior of the higher level menus is an extension to the traditional menu of model Office UI.

  The key is that you have to adjust your navigation lists as you spend on the side and in the top navigation.

  More details. Side navigation and navigation bar are the two types of navigation, but they use different user interface controls. (This applies to what is in the default universal theme. I guess that you can replace the list templates with your own that implement models of other UI.)

  Navigation bar is a control of the user interface of the bar menu and closely follows the model of long standing and well established applications of office for menu bars. With two exceptions, items in menu 1) split where the menu bar may as well perform an action such as navigate to a page or the drop down menu 2) indicates the element menu 'in progress', making the menu a little service as a tab control. These exceptions have been made to account for legacy menu usage used in the report designer patterns.

  Side navigation is a tree with fancy css/javascript UI control for it has a reduced mode and move the expand/collapse button to the right. The trees have no restrictions on a node that is able to navigate and contain children nodes.

  The two types of navigation are based on the APEX of the lists. What distinguishes them is where they go in the page template (top/side) and what list template is used. APEX lists know nothing about the kind of model they will use. Different models have different expectations on the list. For example, some models are flat, and some expect the nested lists. The situation you describe is a case where the list of menu bar template will effectively ignore any navigation link on a non level list item that has children.

• Adobe Muse - pinned Navigation acting weird

  For some reason, browsers of some sideways scrolling system configuration when going down to an anchor of navigation "pinned". I have no idea why this is happening. I've used the same configuration and code for muse adobe for nearly 3 years now no problem

  Muse scrolls to try to anchor in the upper left corner of the browser window.

  If the content of the page is widget to the width of the browser window, scrolling at anchor may involve in vertical and horizontal scrolling.

  The best way to reduce to a minimum any horizontal scrolling is to put all anchors in the same position "x:" and have a relatively narrow maximum width for all the content on your page (i.e. 1280, 960, etc.). He appears to have artificially disabled of the horizontal scroll bar and tried to add some custom styles, but the content of the page is still very wide (~ 1700px). I recommend you all objects that are far away from the page to the right. If the content is restricted down to the width of the page, you want to get a horizontal scrollbar and you should remove the custom code this way will interfere with the normal functioning of the page.

• Alternatives to bar Spry for navigation

  I love the bar spry, but when I saw my page in Explorer I get a message saying: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer", and the submenus drop down do not work.

  It is easy for me to simply click on the message and say 'allow content blocked', but I don't want to create an unnecessary barrier to our users. Is there another way to make a navigation bar that will not create this problem in Explorer? Or a way to change the bar spry code to eliminate the problem?

  You can create menus nested with just CSS if you understand it well enough.  I tried to play with it, but it's true, Spry was faster.  This http://www.duoh.com/csstutorials/2levelmenu/index.html guy set up a sample of a horizontal menu of only CSS with the style sheet for the people begin to practice.  What makes Verticle is just a matter of changing some attributes.  It is easy - once you get the hang of it.  =)
