  Hello. I use historically when-validate-item triggers to validate the data entered in an item. If the validation logic fails, so I can "Raise Form_Trigger_Failure;" and the person should attempt to return a valid value before arriving at the order of the day.
  
  However, in the form that I create now I need to validate the value entered and if it does not reach the validation logic, then I need to move the cursor to another element where they are required to enter into an explanation of the value, they came at the start. It is a big problem that I can not use 'go_item()' to a trigger "when-validate-item." Then I can just move the validation logic in a "next-key" trigger, either because the user could accidentally bypass the validation if logic they mouse out of the field rather than press the tab or enter keys.

  Yes, you understand correctly. Only, don't code the validation in the trigger on validation, since built-ins restricted (as go_item navigation controls) are not allowed. Our forms are always the moment of validation of fixtures in a procedure known as the trigger of the validation key. Once the validation key trigger executes all changes (and they do not stop because of a Form_trigger_failure increase), it then issues a Commit_Form;

  Sorry, there seems to be a misunderstanding. Will try to explain.

  If you apply an effect to an object, the effect has a "duration". When you 'show' object and you want to see the effect applied, the playback head must be able to move to that effect. That is why I asked how you applied the Alpha effect. An effect can be applied with the 3 workflow:

  • Time-based: it is one you use, the effect won't be visible only with a Show command to all the
  • Triggered by an interactive object
  • Triggered by a command in a tip action

  Look at this timeline:

  

  The button has a 'Show Star' action without letting go of the playback head. The AlphaFromTo takes 2secs. If I put the timeline star at the beginning of the slide, when you use the command Show Star, the beginning will show in its current state, which would be with a fairly high Alpha. When you move the star timeline like I did here, the star will show but with a low coefficient Alpha, very dimmed. Perhaps this best explains why using a time-based effect makes no sense at all.

  I did a magazine for a retail brand in the United Kingdom, and I'm almost done.

  I now wonder questons by my client as chipboard pages can be exported in a format such as flash or interactive PDF. They want available on the internet, as well as on Apple or Android stores as an application.

  Not ayone we know if it has all the options available to achieve this?

  You can export your Indesign an interactive PDF or SWF files. But it will not have much in common with your DPS application.

  And it will both advance the intention to set up ID files and additional tasks with separate layers for DPS and and SWF or PDF. I recommend only for applications with movies, a custom in app and possibly related navigation.  ESM, 360, Pan, scrolling images and animations of the html5 is prohibited.

  Hi, I would like to restrict navigation of PDFs to only be able to navigate using the links within the document (such as a web page) and cannot scrolling using the scroll bars or a hand tool. Is this possible?

  Bit of a strange request. Within our work environment, we try to limit as much as possible to Remote Desktop. However people regularly have administrator rights in order to do their job, due to some programs and restrictions works not very well.

  What I'm looking for is essentially:

  -Nobody has the rights to remote desktop, USERS in the group "Remote Desktop"

  -It is administrators - they can't have these rights

  Is this possible? My understanding is that permissions are cumulative, if for example Admin is user of remote desktop and then some. I would like to somehow separate these (whether by a GPO or other).

  Any advice or suggestions are appreciated!

• Is it possible to hide or restrict access to a registry key?

  During our deployment of operating system using SCCM 2007, we add a registry key to identify the operating system as being our image that admins are known to them to create and use its own image.  Lately, we find that some of the local admins have managed to reproduce our registry key to give the impression that they use our image when they are not.  I would like to create this key and prevent to either see the key if possible but if not then able to see the values or export the key to use in their own image.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  Right click on the folder that contains the key you want to restrict and click Permissions.  Change them to just add you as an administrator - make sure you use your administrator account (leaving only system accounts) of right and delete account directors and all other accounts of individual users of the authorization (or to give them read only permission access).  Click Advanced, and do the same thing in the special permissions section.  Although it limits a bit more than just the key (it restricts that folder), it may solve your problem.  Each of the keys themselves are not subject to permissions and cannot be applied separately - but I think the record should do the trick and probably not cause problems unless you need it to be able to access the other keys in this file.  In this case, there is no solution available under Vista.

  Oh and there is no way to hide the keys in registry at all - and if there were, he could immediately be overridden by an administrator so that it would not solve the problem.

• In Windows 7 Professional is it is possible to restrict access to the C: drive still be able to write to it?

  I've seen several threads on hide the C: drive to restrict the overall use of the C: drive, but I'm on a mission to survey about whether you can limit the C: drive but still be able to write files to it.  We currently do not allow any executable to be run from a USB key and so sometimes users are required to move the file to the C: drive and run. We currently need to who have implemented, but not not allow the user create a folder and download or save files on the C: drive. My original logic in this is not that because you'd have to restrict by file type, but I could be wrong and would like the entry to a person with a thorough knowledge of Windows 7 that may be able to tell me if this is actually possible. It is very easy to do with Citrix, but I'm trying to understand if this is achievable on a local machine toed. Is it possible to allow only .exe files to write in c driver: on a per user basis?   It is relatively easy to have a pointer that can move around the screen.  What's more complicated is to find where this point is in relation to the fields that you have on the screen, and so the fields that have the focus.  So of course what do you with this pointer while people type?  or if there was a pointer, users will need to click to select the input field?  Then once you have selected an input field, made the moving average of scrolling trackball with - in the area or that the bar has to be moved.  Everything becomes complicated.

  Unless someone is willing to throw a lot of money to you to implement this, I would say that the answer is no.

  Are you just wanting to restrict access to specific members to enter data to or it also includes being able to 'see' only the data based on some examples.  For example, in the type of financing plan, I have write access to the Dept 123 for all accounts of actual Net profit, I want they have read access to this Department?  In this case, I would make sure that specific effective accounts, that I make sure that the user/group has only read access.
