  Hello!

  You can use apps like Ringtone Toolbox or Top Riongtone Downloader, both available for download from the Google play, customize the ringtone on the Z110.  Simply copy the ringtone file in the SD card and select one of these applications to help to set as the default ringtone.

  You can do this as often as you want and build your own ringtone collection. You can change the default ringtone in the settings > Audio profiles > General. Tap on general and select phone ringing. You should see the list of all available ringtones here and choose the one you want.

  Yes...

  Settings > Notifications

  Slide the switch to ringtone for the volume you want.

  You can from this screen, select each profile and in those put in different volumes for the ringer for each profile, which will replace the first main volume control.

  Just had heavy PRIV top of page a few days ago and I'm trying to not to regret the purchase. I need help.

  For the life of me I can't find where to add a personalized ringtone or sound notification to my list of contacts other than the few that are already on the PRIVATE list. NO, don't tell me choose only those cables the list provided.

  It is very easy to set custom ringtones for each contact you want... also add any sound as a ringtone.

  Install a file manager (I use ARE), copy any wav, ogg, mp3 audio file etc to/0/ringtones
  These will be immediately available.

  in your contacts list to change any contact (pencil top right corner), then hit up 3 points to the right and "set the tone".

  You can select email, then menu > settings to change to a silent ringtone. You can then go to the e-mail settings and select any ringtone you like.

  Should be able to if you go into your profiles on the home screen icon. In the menu that appears scroll down to advanced. Click the profile 'Active'. From there, you can click on the category of Messages to change Holster/In case settings to control how the device will work for incoming emails. You can also change the SMS category to change the incoming text message response.

  Any mp3 will do, you can create your own. They are not generic to the storm. Use can use several sites to make them, or you can do it yourself with the audacity software. (Google it). Rintones will play only for about 10-15 seconds.

  Recently got my Storm a couple of weeks. So I apologize if this is a question that has been answered, or simply a newbie question. In any case, it is possible to assign a different ringtone to each contact? Thanks in advance for any response.

  Oh Wow! I think I can really help with this one! (LOL Fellow newbie here!)

  Here is how to assign a ringtone for each contact:

  Click on the contacts icon and open it. Then, find the contact you are looking for and click on it. When it is open, click on the BB (the one with the points!) and find where it says edit. A click on it.

  If you scroll along the contact information, you will see where it says "your/custom alerts.

  There is one for the phone and the other for messages.

  If you click on each one, it will come a menu allowing you to choose a ring for each type. Then click on the back button (curved arrow), press on save and you should be good to go.

  In the sound profiles, make sure that you are ready to receive the alert tones.

  Oh boy, I hope this helps and makes some sense. If this is not the case, let me know where you are stuck, or better yet, maybe someone else can simplify!
