Ringtone of Photosmart C309a fax

I use my C309a as an outgoing fax only. I don't get faxes with it. Is there a way to disable the ringer so that the C309a does not ring when an incoming call is received?  I've already put OFF auto answer so it is unresponsive to calls.

I just find the answer to my question in another thread.  It can be disabled in the basic Fax menu by turning the volume off.

  • Why my Kindle fire can not find my HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-one printer - C309a with ePrint.

    I downloaded the HP ePrint onto my Kindle Fire (first generation).  The app has been obtained from the Amazon AppStore I looked printer apps for Kindle Fire.  I use the HP ePrint with my iPhone4 and iPad 2 and can print from both of them with her.  Kindle fire can't find the printer on my network wireless using ePrint.  I wonder why this happens when two other mobile devices are easily.  Can someone tell me what I could do in order to access the printer all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium Fax - C309a on Kindle fire?

    I set up the connection on the HP printer wireless and was able to print from my Kindle on it.  However, my iPhone and iPad will be printed on the HP printer via wireless connection.

    I reconnected my USB cable at the airport, but left the WiFi of the HP printer and now I can print from the iPad and iPhone / Kindle.  My Inspiron 1525 PC and my PowerBookG4 can print on the HP printer using WiFi or via the USB connection.

    I watched a lot of forums on this topic and can't see an acceptable answers. I have a new HP 520z all-in-one and a Photosmart Premium Fax c309a printer works wirelessly.  Computer came with Windows 7 and IE9.  The printer will not print anything on the web, including e-mail, even when I try to print screen.  My wife is running Windows7 and IE 8 and has no problem.  I run HP Diagnostics and it conflict pilot sez.  I install the new printer and Windows sez can not install I get around.  I see that I'm not the only person having this problem.  Many sites also reveal this conflict.  Help?

    I contacted HP support by phone and they have said that there is a problem with IE9 and the Photosmart c309a no internet print and e-mail printing.  There may be others, but that was not mentioned.  So at the present time, that the solution is remove ie9 and replace with ie8.  Now my printer works perfectly.  They talked me through it.

    Your HP C309a printer does not support eprint. Most HP printers that supports the eprint feature has a letter from e. For example:

  • Photosmart Premium Fax AIO - rejects Android Bluetooth phone queries

    I tried to send a document created by QuickOffice Pro on my printer HP Photosmart Premium Fax AIO C309a of my Samsung Android 2.3 smartphone series.  The phone finds the bluetooth printer and I select.  The application attempts to send the document to print and it fails with the error "request refused by remote device.

    I thought I could use this printer as a bluetooth device, pair it with my phone and send documents to print.  Is there anything else I need to do to make it work correctly?

    I solved my problem. It print photos, but to print documents, you must install the third-party software, printshare and then buy the Premium key for $12.95.  It does not work on my Photosmart Premium Fax AIO.

    You use Windows XP, things worked perfectly until my server has changed my SSID for an iPod. It seems that the computer was no longer in communication with the printer. I uninstalled the printer but may not have to install again. My server has changed the original network name SSID, but I can not reinstall the printer. The installation begins, but soon displys ' fatal error during installation. MSI-Flashplayer. Error 1722 problem with this windows package install. Where should I go from here?

    I assume that your printer is supposed to connect via wifi.

    • If so, you have run Uninstall HP?
    • If no, please list all the steps you've taken to uninstalling the printer

    How are trying to reinstall the printer?  In other words, you use the CD that came with the printer, a downloaded installer package (that we), or something else (Please specify)?

  • Photosmart C309a: Printer does not work after uninstalling and reinstalling to resolve the question of the HP Solution Center

    HP Solution Center has stopped working so I followed the advice of HP Support Assistant to uninstall and reinstall the printer.

    Cannot get printer to reinstall successfully, and more, none of the physical controls on the printer will work much longer, even the power of the power button.  Have to unplug the power off.

    Ironically, I found since the 'solution' through this forum to get Support HP Center works again by uninstalling a recent Windows Update, but do me no good now.

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software of the driver several times without success and I'm worried that the function keys not working not not at all on the printer indicates an internal matter that cannot be repaired.

    Anyone encountered this problem?

    Hello - Thanks for the reply.  Power the device power on and off has not fixed anything.  However, suspecting an internal firmware issue, I did a search on the web to see if there was a mechanism to reset.  I found a very useful website that describes three levels of resets, and the second level one (#6) fixed my problem.  I'm surprised HP doesn't have this information in its documentation or on its website.  I understand he has the potential to be used for the wrong purposes and perhaps make an irreparable problem, but it is clearly the solution to an inoperable Panel.  My printer was working fine before this problem and is now back to work again.

    We have several printers (HP and others) on our cable network LAN and 3 months ago, we bought a Photosmart C309a.

    This device freezes on a regular basis when starting an analysis, as well the printer itself or HP Scan Pro. When the printer is NOT connected to the local network, it's never cold. Of course, then scan to a flash drive.

    After more than 3 months of troubleshooting, after installing two replacement printers, I think I have found the root of the problem:

    Our router re-boots once every 24 hours in the night. The next morning, HP SCAN PRO sees no more, the device even if the device's built-in Web server is always available to Safari, the device does not appear in the "HP Device Manager", the utility printing as well as software widgets all work and can be printed.     You have an ADSL router?  What brand and who is your ISP?

    I assume that you have an IP address assigned to the printer.  That being said, we're going to make an adjustment:

    1. Open the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address
    2. Internal web page of the printer, select Networking, wireless (802.11), then IPv4 addressing.
    3. Delete the entries for the default gateway of manual and the manual preferred and other DNS servers.  Leave these empty and press on apply
    4. Turn off the printer and all computers.
    5. Turn off the DSL router. Wait 30 seconds, turn on the router.
    6. Wait 60 seconds and turn on the printer.
    7. Now, turn on your computer.
    Let me know if it works to allow scanning and fax while the printer is connected to the network.

    The name "HP Photosmart Premium Fax all-in-One Printer series - C309" is the trade name for the printer, and CC335A is the product number/product code. Both refer to the same device. The description of this seller on Ebay is confusing. But I hope this helps.

  • I have a photosmart c309a &amp; ceased to print correctly

    I have a photosmart C309a and a Mac computer.  I have an OS x 10.5.8 when I try to print something from my email, I can not get the printer to work.

    I don't get the error messages.   The printer will start printing but displays only 4 words at the top of the page.   These words are from:, subject:, Date:, and Tme:.  The rest of the page is blank. The area beneath the orientation box said: Mail.

    I can get it to print only if there is an enclosure that I can open as a coupon. & then the area beneath the box orientation said Safari.

    I tried to print the printer status reports, but all I get are boxes with no words in them. The colors will print well.

    All I get are the colored lines & boxes.

    We will restore the print system:

    -Go to System Preferences > Print & Fax
    -Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
    WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
    -Select the sign more to add a printer. Select the default tab on the top of the window. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

    I searched HP website for a possible solution and downloaded a set of instructions using my Macbook connected directly to the printer using a USB cable and the printer's built-in System. Everything worked well and the printer has found that my computer on my wireless network then opened the Mac window to select a printer to add to my list of printer. Photosmart C309a was registered and I chose but then got the error message "year error occurred while trying to add the selected printer".

    Below was another comment, "Server-error-service-unavailable". "."

    I tried several times with the same result. I used the CD that came with my printer which stated that it was the SW for my Mac 10.4 operating system.

    I had a problem at the start when I tried to install everything on the CD and installation put OK until he got to the installation of fax utlilty and it froze. I retried several times with the same result. Finally in frustration, I uninstalled and did another installation, but this time leaving out various additional SW and the fax SW that I won't be using this printer as a fax.

    Any help would be appreciated. I quickly checked the various recent messages, but couldn't find anything relevant to my problem
