  A few days ago, I had to say and then plug back the CMOS battery. After putting my T400s back together, the power supply in power did not work more (the computer is plugged in and power cable works fine with other computers, but it will not provide power to the T400s). Cannot charge the battery either!

  It doesn't have to be plugged into the power problem, but a discharge of static electricity isolated were able, then you could also try to reset the bios of the laptop again by removing the cmos battery.

  Most likely, you've killed one of the power circuit element when you tried to remove the cmos battery without first statically discharging yourself.

  The distribution4 link is valid for a certain number of access (I think around 100, maybe a little more).  Usually, when the link no longer works, it is because the access to the pages have reached the limit.  I can check if it is the (most likely it is), however, it will take a day or two to check, or you can request a new license and receive a new link to access distribution page.
