Rocket can not find my old files

After updating my Sansa Fuze, my computer detects my player right now, but my old files are not there, they catch upp space, but I don't see them. And the files are in a different language than Im used to. Tried to downgrade, but that has not worked.

I am a fool, my player AutoDetect and now still is very good. It is of course useful to read the forum

  • Can not find the downloaded file

I regularly download files, and they will 'always' in the same directory. Now, I downloaded fedora-live-workstation-i686-22-3.iso

Any clarification would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • Can not find the Dupfinder file.

I have Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3. I also almost 10,000 hidden images, which I think more than 2/3 of them are duplicates. When I try to find the file "Dupfinder", by going to "Run" and typing in "Dupfinder; I can not find this file. I was instructed to download "Windows XP Service Pack 2 Support files", that has the file 'Dupfinder' inside, but I can't access that is. So, what can I do now? Is there any file to search for files duplicated for XP anywhere? I also believe that's what slowed my computer down so much. (I may be wrong here, but it is my belief).

  • Can not find the downloaded files

I don't know exactly when it started, but suddenly I can't find all the downloaded files.  I get prompted to run or save the file, and then on the progress bar window and the file download, but any place I pick up (or even if I chose to simply run the program), the dialog boxes disappear when the download is complete.  The files are not where I told them to be stored and they are not anywhere else on the computer.  When I choose to run a program, I get a dialog box for that either.  This problem occurs no matter what browser I use.  I did some digging and I came across several others with the same problem and there seems to be a problem with Windows Update.  Suggestions are to uninstall the latest updates to fix the problem, but I think it started several weeks ago and I don't want uninsatll everything.  Any help is appreciated.

  • Virtual machine locked... can not find the lock file

Sorry if this was picked up elsewhere, but I'm relatively new to the Mac and VMware, and my search proved fruitless, so I thought I'd try to post. The situation is the following:

I'm under VMware 2.0 on a MacBook Pro, and my computer virtual running Windows XP Pro. My Mac has does not respond this morning (on the left in the night market) and if I pressed the power button to restart manually. Once I did, started upward as per normal, but when I opened VMware to start my VM it tells me the my Win XP Pro has been locked. After finding several documented cases of this, I went looking for the lock file, but it is not in my folder /Users/ [name] / Documents/Virtual Machines. When I try to take ownership, he falls down, while it provides a Configuration file: /Users/ [name] / Documents/Virtual Machines.localized/Windows XP/Professional.vmwarevm Windows XP Professional.vmx.

I activated my finder to show all files in the folder (http://www.macworld.com/article/51830/2006/07/showallfinder.html), but still don't see the locking file. I searched (using the projector) for files hard .vmx and .lck .lock, nothing helps. I've seen a lot of discussion of the use of Terminal to solve this problem, but I have little (no) familiarity with Terminal Server or Unix, so I'm a bit wary of doing.

Can someone tell me where I could find this lock file so that I can delete, or if not, how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

CTRL-click on the entry in the Virtual Machine library and select Show in Finder and then ctrl-click on the packaging of the Virtual Machine and select the content of the package.

Close the merge and then delete the .lck files/files in the package of the Virtual Machine.

  • Can not find the .bss files when running

    Hello

I used Eclipse to create an executable Jar of my FX project.
When I try to launch the Jar executable, I see the following exception:
    java.net.MalformedURLException: cannot open InputStream for URL "rsrc:css / myapp.bss".

I looked inside the jar and saw a myapp.css in the css, but not myapp.bss directory.
I read here (http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/deployment/packaging.htm) which says conversion of .css to .bss is optional.

Is it possible to say my app just use the .css file and do not have the .bss file?

  • PC crashed during 6 start Lightroom. Now open habit. Can not find the lock file

    Hello.

My PC stops inexplicably while Lightroom 6 began and then just rebooted. (Windows 7 i7 PC)

Now Lightroom does not start and a "Catalog Adobe" said dialog box could not be opened because another application has already opened it.

A quick search on the internet said the locking file must delete, but I'm not. An Adobe help page shows me:[username]\Pictures\Lightroom\Lightroom 5 Catalog.lrcat.lock C:\Users\

First of all, I'm on LR6 and my start up programs are on a small SSD. So if I navigate on this hard drive, then program file Adobe\Adobe Lightroom I see many files, then a may list files. None gives me a clue to what is a lock file or look like lrcat.lock.

I'm not very savy on a PC and would be grateful of urgent assistance. I tried to uninstall the program and then reinstall, but in vain.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi andys62004617,

lock file is located in the exact location as well as your catalog.

Search under Pictures\Lightroom\ Catalog.lock of Lightroom and delete (do not remove the .lrcat files because it's your main catalog)

    Hello

I have a satellite C660-225 and you want to restore to its original settings by using the zero button. The recovery starts, but the laptop then said it cannot find the files to restore. But they are on the C drive and I made a copy on disk D.

I don't have a recoverydisk. What can I do now?

    Thank you in advance,
    Plankie

    Post edited by: plankie

Recovery image is usually original saved on partition D, as well as on some machines on the hidden recovery partition, but certainly not on the C partition.

You cannot move files in recovery from one place to another piece waiting for everything works fine.

In your case installation image of HARD drive recovery not working anymore.
What you can do now is to try to create a recovery media using the method described on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD4103KB0000R01.htm

You'll be really lucky if it will work. Otherwise you can order the original recovery image on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

  • Can not find / see some files that I know are there.

    I have Windows XP.

I discovered a range of 'missing' in a certain folder jpg photos.  (I made sure that I had selected "Show hidden files" where they got the tag as hidden inadvertently).

I checked my trash to confirm that they had not been removed.  I don't see them in there.

I then went to my backup (carbonite) software to restore the missing files.  However, when I did, he asked me if I wanted to replace the file "disappeared" with the restored file.  In other words, he was saying that the file is still there - even if I can't see it / find.

    Any ideas?

  • I created a new administrator user account that has replaced the original one. Now I can not access my old files. What can I do?

    Windows XP Professional

I found that will help you solve your problem,
the original instructions have been written by Shenan Stanley

Re: Main administrator account appearing not
If you can connect with the new account that you created (which should be an administrator account as well) then go directly to step 2 below.

I suppose that you use the administrator account as your main account (bad
idea anyway) and that means that you probably have Windows XP Professional * and *.
somehow enabled the guest account or create a new account - or
installed some patches that created a new account - as .NET.

I guess also that (since you say "appear") you also use the 'Welcome' screen
opening of session instead of the classic logon.

    (1) restart the system. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice on home
screen. Type in "Administrator" (without the quotes) as the username
and do not put in any password and logon. Work?

    (2) or follow the instructions below to add the administrator account of
the Welcome screen * or * download/use TweakUI to choose that is visible on
the screen of welcome and even set automatic logon if you want.

How to add a user to the Welcome screen logon page:
    ------
    1. start regedit.exe (start--> RUN--> REGEDIT--> OK)
    2. navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserLis t.

    3. on the Edit menu, select new, DWORD value.
    4. type administrator as the name, and then press ENTER.
5 double-click on the new value it the value 1 and click OK.
    6. close the registry editor.

The administrator account will now appear on the Welcome screen. You can use
These same steps to control other accounts listed on the welcome
screen. The value of the registry value to 1 to display an account or account 0 for
hide an account. For example, to hide the user Bob account, add a value
named "Bob" in the registry key identified in step 2, then set the value to 0.

You can do the above with the Microsoft TweakUI PowerToy.

    Method 2 of Microsoft:
    TweakUI for:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...PowerToys.mspx

    control userpasswords2 method:
    (1) go to the Start Menu and run the box.
    (2) type the following:

    Control userpasswords2

    Now click on OK
    (3) in the new Windows that appears select the account you want to make the
    opening main session.
Now, uncheck the box "users must enter a user name and password... ».
    (4) hit apply and a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the selected
    user password.
Click OK when you have finished...
    ------

I hope this gets you where you are wanting to be.

It's a * good * thing in the field of the user to:
    (1) have strong passwords.
    (2) have more than one account to administrator (with strong passwords).
