rocket problems

I have a 4 GB fuze black and my screen sometimes goes white (5 times), I was too reset it.also it freezes all the time and some time. possible reasons why she is doing this.

PS I still love my rocket however.

Try to take off your most recently added albums and see if you still have problems. A bad file or tags do not like the "rocket", could be panic there.

Got a rocket 4 GB more.  Accused during t + hours, he took, with music in tow and went to go mow the lawn.  After... 30 minutes or so, it shuts down, and I can't put it back on.  Inside, and google my question.  Tried using another cable to USE, perform a reset software and holding down the power button / stop and the volume button.  Now, it will light up to the loading screen, then turns off, or connect, give me a do not remove message then unplug a few seconds later.  I just bought this thing today and I'd like to get some use out of it, so any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Out of the box, the Fuze + should not be so fickle.  I can understand running in a wrong file, but cutting could indicate a bad device.  The return of the retailer / trading period, it's the fastest way to get a replacement unit.  Otherwise, it's really easy to register with SanDisk (via logo SanDisk in the upper left, go on the media), or simply give them a call at 1-866-SanDisk, and they will arrange everything for you, including shipping.

Time to time, we are facing a troublesome unit. If things go wonky, sometimes from the beginning.

  • Volume with my rocket problem.

Hello. I just got my 4 GB Fuze. When I tried to turn the volume to about 70% or more just sound cuts in and out. If I leave the volume under this level everything seems fine. Any idea? Thank you.

Push your headphones in more difficult to activate. The "rocket" has a tight plug so you have to push a little hard

  • Xbox 360 rocket problem, can't find music

I have connected my fuze 8 GB to my 360 and tried to play the music.

on the xbox, I'm going to

Portable device > MUSIC but it says that "no songs no could be found.

I know they are there, but the xbox needs to look deeper in my files. How can I do this?

Try to replace Settings/System Settings/USB MTP Mode and see if it works. Then try to MSC. Do not use Auto.

But it depends on how you put music on the "rocket".

WMP through MTP mode. A computer (or Xbox) cannot see transferred in a mode both music: MSC (works like a flash drive) or PSG (controlled by Windows Media Player). The "rocket" sees everything, regardless of the mode.

Xbox is supposed to work with PSG.  So if you have transferred files by drag-and - move, through MSC, Xbox can't see them.

But you have to experiment. Try to transfer files in both modes, try to move a file in the root directory of the "rocket" (just the drive letter, as E:\Sansa Fuze) and see if the Xbox sees.

  • Rocket conversion problem! Help!

I was very happy to buy a 8 GB Sansa Fuze, especially for watching videos!   then I found out what a major concern (apparently), is to convert videos for use!  Arrgh!   I have several AVI and OGV videos I want to convert and display on my rocket.  They are long at LEAST 45 minutes (if it is 1-2 hours).  Space on the "rocket" is NOT a problem.

I tried the following procedure to get these films on the "rocket" to display:

Run AnyVideoConverter (by AnySoft) which is a free video converter software.  The output is set to MP4 (which is what I understand that MSC requires.

I find the converted file to ensure that it is intact and complete (full length).

I run the SMC, taking THIS file as input (and will automatically exit the "rocket").

When I view the movie on the "rocket", it works well, but it is WAY SHORT!  I have maybe 1/4 of the full movie.

I must point out that WHENEVER I launch the SMC, it FREEZES just as it writes to the device.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Why beat your head against the wall?

    Just use Video4Fuze.

  • Help! What is the problem with my rocket?

  • Strange problem with rocket, it loads more after that I did a update

I decided that I had had this for awhile mp3 player, so I decided to do an update. Everything went perfectly. I was watching a movie that night. I was getting sleepy while I have for as long as I got this mp3 player, I suspended it and off the. Then the next night, when I turned it on, it went to a screen that looked like the music screen abd has even had the title of the music. with a thumbnail of the video where goes the album art and title and my progress through the film. I thought that it is new, must be a novelty. So I clicked play. the icon has changed to a pause button. nothing else has happened. I hit the menu. nothing happened. so I turned off the unit. The screen when white for a second and plays then the splash screen and then frozen with the sansa icon. I waited for the battery to die and plugged. He showed the screen connected for 1 second and then disconnected says. I tried the pluging it in several times. Whenever my computer marks the device as long as it is unrecognizable. When connceted disappears. It displays the battery icon in the corner with the fees thing, it flashes twice then disappears and continues to do this endlessley. It is not actually in charge, I let stand for 2 hours and the charge did not go to the top. still, my computer just flashes the device is unrecognizable. Please help me.

Have you tried setting the USB of the player to MSC mode? The computer will recognize the player in MSC mode? After the last update of the firmware, my pc does not recognize my rocket in MTP mode. However, there is no problem in MSC mode. Some have said that the reinstallation of Windows Media Player would solve the problem. Apparently, it is also related to Windows XP SP3. Since I don't need to use MTP mode and wanted to pass the Canada Meteorological Service anyway, I just changed from MSC rather than reinstall Windows Media Player.

    Beware of upgrading to 10.04

  • PC & Playlist problems do not recognize the "rocket"

    HI -.

I am sure that these two problems have been mentioned before, but I've tried everything and STILL have problems.

    (1) my PC does not recognize my rocket.  I made the "switch to lock, hold the part of the rewind button while plugging in the USB cable.  It's time he will recognize ONLY the PC and load.  It works very well with my Griffin (loading dock

    She, is

    (2) my rocket will not identify playlists. I use WiMP 11 & follow the steps to create a list. Click new list, rename, drag

for payne synchronization and add files. When I synchronize the "rocket", the music is transferred, but not list of reading. What I am

    hurt?

    (3) I can't do playlists either way or the other. I go to my computer and select the drive that contains my sd card,

Open, go to the music folder and right click. There is no option to create a playlist.

What's worse, I got a 4 GB card that had it all well done. I just bought a 8 GB card and has been implemented. I LOST THE 4 GB CARD! (* beep * the microphone to be...) Eh_bien, micro )

BTW, the last time all worked I tried to connect to the PC on a wk ago

To quote the Beatles... "don't you please, please help me?

    Thank you

Well, once more I found the problem on my own.  The problems were due to a problem WiMP himself. A reinstallation of the software solves the problem.  OY! * slap forehead *.

  • Just got a rocket Go 8 - bit problems

Hi, as the title says.  Just got it out of the box and plugged directly on my computer to charge it up.  It turns on fine, changes in 'Writing' to 'Connected' and yellow signal shows on the load screen, and the battery starts to blink.  After about 30 seconds - 1 minute it stops to load, but the battery indicator shows only 3/4 full.

My other question is, is the wheel means to feel really fragile and loose.  My girlfriend had an e200 some time ago and this wheel was nice and tight, and click when you the activated.

    Any help appreciated,

    Thank you.

Compared to the series e200, which have a mechanical wiper for the scroll wheel, the Marshall and the view have a scroll wheel more sweet, which is a combination scroll 'rocker' to the four functions of the home button.  It feels more flexible, because it must turn and allow to toggle to the functions of the buttons.

The charge function is interesting.  Do not forget that processor of the "rocket of" Treaty of communications and battery management, and if there is a problem with data, the processor can be diverted to charge.

The more robust communication mode is MSC, in which the Sansa is seen by the computer as a flash drive.  MTP, or Media Transfer Protocol, is a method that requires Windows Media Player 10 or later, in which the Sansa is considered a media device.

In both modes, you can see if load is progressing normally in looking at the battery icon.  When you reload, you will see connected logo and rolling, or with the latest version of the firmware, the four color logo sansa scroll arrows.  As the battery charges, the lightning bolt, as well as the Green battery starts flashing.  Once complete, you will have a solid green battery.

If the computer does not supply enough current to the device, or communication session breaks, loading may be interrupted.

If the device is plugged in, you can open Device Manager in one of the many ways, either through the control panel > system > Hardware tab > Device Manager, or by starting with the shortcut [Windows key] + [Pause/break] can follow the same line.

If the Sansa is connected in MTP mode, you will see listed under portable devices, or in any case (including the MSC) it is usually as one low devices listed in Bus USB controllers, as one of the hubs.  Look for any wee yellow triangles, which means that there is a communication problem with the device.

Often, the USB ports on front-of-PC are connected with a wire to the cheese and will not provide the necessary current to the Sansa.  You can try to use one of the ports mounted at the rear.

  • Problems creating a play list on my rocket (another one of those topics) .m3u...

I'll start by saying I did a search and have been through a few threads on the topic of playlists.

I have a rocket 8 GB, I use it in MSC mode and I use WinAmp to create my playlists.  I know how to create the playlist with WinAmp (using the instructions found in another topic) and most of the time it works...

My problem is that not all songs appear in my playlist.  For example, suppose I have 50 songs in the playlist I create using WinAmp, some of those who do not on my rocket.  When I load up the playlist, it will show (for example) 44 songs and not the full 50 songs.  I have no idea why it does so I hope someone here can help me.

Why most of the songs appear in the playlist, but a few never do.

I tried to use the Playlist Creator 3.5 and the same thing happens.  What could be the problem?

(Note also that the songs that do not appear in the playlist appear normally on the "rocket").

I found that the fuse does not recognize the non-English file name or folder name in the M3U playlist.  So if some of your songs have non-English file names, it will not appear in the list of reading but still appear in the "all songs".  Someone in this forum said that using M3U8 of WinAmp will correct this problem.  I've never tried but to the contrary, just rename all my files to use the English names.

  • 3 MAJOR problems with my rocket

    1. the converter converts, but my drive shows movies aren't supported formats.

    2. all the memory cards I appear as having 0 free space, in spite of having a last night left of 900 MB.

3 new Music put on it does nothing.

What is happening with it? It's time to get a new one or what?

You should try to update the firmware that always solves a lot of problems

  • A problem with the transfer of songs with the "rocket"

Greetings people. I'm having a problem with the player MP3 Sansa Fuze to my father, and I'm quite confused. It seems to be one of these common problems of MTP/MSC. Here's the thing, when I originally hooked the MP3 player for him, I know it was in MSC mode, because this is the mode that is similar to a flash drive. I showed him how to transfer the songs on it. Now, we had recently to get the computer basically re-tire, updated, new motherboard, and all. I'm trying to set up for him to put some songs on it.

However, when the computer is in MSC mode, there no songs, no, nein, notta. However if I turn it on in MTP mode, the songs are there. But I * know * I never transferred everything using WMP because I prefer the simple 'drag and drop' method using Windows Explorer.

It seems so now I'm stuck with a bunch of songs on the MP3 player of my father who cannot be returned to the computer, and it cannot access unless it is through WMP. Is it possible to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

I appreciate the help of everyone. I tried the solution with just type "Sansa Fuze 4 GB" Explorer solutions, but it does not work unfortunately. And Yes, I think that the player was in automatic detection at the origin, so I was probably drag / drop in MTP mode.

New but good and strange. Even in MTP mode, if I connect it to my laptop I am able to drag and drop anyway. So I'll do a simple copy and passed on my hard drive, format the drive and put it into MSC mode and put everything on.

  • Problem when connecting my rocket...

Hey, for the first time post here, but I'm having a little trouble. Whenever I plug my Fuze into my computer, it appears twice as two discs, F, and G. Although this has not presented a real problem, put the music on my player, bothers me because I'm not a computer expert, and I don't know if it of a bad thing or not. -What other people have experienced? Is this a problem? Drive F works; G does not work.

    If it's important, I'm using Vista SP1.

No, it's all new to you.  I am a computer scientist, I can deal with all sorts of things, people have problems with who seem to be blinding to me.  It's a matter of experience.

  • Problem with the ROCKET and the Blackberry "BOLD" blackBerry Smartphones

I installed (uninstalled) and reinstalled FUZE Messenger and keep getting the following error when I try to log "Eception exception: net.rim.device.api.i18n.MissingResourceException".

I have put all my permissions allow, pulled the battery several times and still get the error. I sent support for the app but no response yet.

All BBBold techies out there have an idea what that means my error and how to fix it? Thank you!

I received a response from their support with a new link to download from and instructions. I uninstalled the version I had and installed the new version, they sent me and it works fine now!

I had to send them the log of this program so they could see the problem. So the best thing to do is to go to their Web site, please contact support and have some patients because it took a few days.
