Routine Photosmart 5524 alignment every time I turn on
My Photosmart 5524 new crosses his routine of alignment, print a page and then it scans whenever I turn on the printer.
1 is this normal?
2. can I pass this waste of paper and ink out and if so, how?
Thank you very much.
You have to fully complete the alignment process? If not, it will ask again. Try to reset the printer to its factory default and try again.

Have you checked that you have the correct nvidia gforce drivers installed from the manufacturers Web site?
This problem may appear when you have a general driver for the graphics card. You could try reinstalling the drivers for the graphics card because it could have been corrupted somehow when return you to the default settings.

XP installation update every time I turn the computer off.
I don't know what happens, whenever I turned off my PC (running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, SP3) for the last week or so, it is said that it will install an update, if I disable normally. I mean, click the button, it installs and turns off, and then the next time that I turn it off, it happens again. 1 update every time, I let it run all along, just as I always before.

PSC 1350 all prints a test page every time when turned on
After changing the cartridge, we printed test page.
Now, whenever we turn on the printer it prints test page automatically.
How to disable this option?
Thank you
Hello vancat,
If your problem is that your PSC 1350 prints a test page when it is turned on or after every printjob, it is very likely because the cartridge alignment process is not finished. After you have installed a new cartridge in the printer, it will print an alignment page. You must take this page and place it on the scanner glass (make sure that the top of the page is in a good way), then you press the "Scan" button on the printer itself. It will scan the page (that is, read the page) and full alignment process (so it is not scanning in the sense that it sends an image to the computer).
I hope that clarifies the process of alignment slightly.

Hello
· Photo Gallery is installed on the system?
· Since when are you facing this problem?
· Remember to make changes to the system?
Method 1:
I suggest you stop photo library to be installed on the system.
To stop it trying to install:
a. to start the configuration system (msconfig) utility:
b. Click Start and type msconfig in the box start the search.
(c) in section programs, click Msconfig.exe.
On the Startup tab, you will find photo gallery that keeps trying to start and uncheck the box next to it. It comes out the startup so it will run each time Windows starts.

Method 2:
Maybe it's that the application is not correctly installed on the system and this is the reason why you get the message when the system boots. I suggest you to check if the photo gallery is installed on the system, if it is not installed on the system, then, I suggest to install on the system and check if the problem is resolved.

Exclamation red light next to 'on' and green button 'on' butter is flashing all the time.
