Were you able to configure the settings of you before Wireless 2 routers cascade? Did you use the same network names? If you have done so, turn off the WRT160N and leave the E1200 power and see if it is broadcasting. Otherwise, you will need to access the router's interface again and adjust the wireless channels.

  The best way to achieve this is to use the DAQmx VI of Signal to export.  You can route the signal to several roads by selecting to go... rather than select a single line PFI, then CTRL + click on the roads to do.  I was able to do this on a card PCI 6251 M Series multifunction with no problems.

  I just bought a refurbished Re1000. I also bought a refurbished E2000 router. I could never implement the RE1000 with the CD provided. I managed to configure it manually.

  The RE1000 provides a much better signal on a separate floor as the E2000 signal.

  I then tried a speed test and my download speed was 2.18 and download speed was 5.7. I took the exit RE1000 and used the router E2000 signal strength lower. 9.83 increased my download speed, and the speed of download to 6.1. I tried several times with companies to test different speed with similar results.

  What happens here? Is my RE1000 defective?

  I finally found the answer. It probably happens to thousands of users. I use Norton 360 and when I disabled the firewall, I immediately found my download speed increased to the level that I when I do not use the RE1000.

  So when you are only using the router, there is no conflict in the firewall. When the RE1000 is used, along with the E2000 firewall firewall and Norton firewall causing the slowdown.

  I hope this helps someone. I spent hours on this problem.

  I just managed to get my new WRE to work after digging around several useful threads. My laptop connected successfully through the WRE and I got the signal strength excellent (54 Mbit/s as the status of dialogue shown). However, when I tried to browse multiple web pages, they took a long time to load. I ran a test of speed at speedtest.net and I'm barely 100 KB/S download speed (sometimes, it falls as low as 50 KB/S). Before when I connect my laptop in my room through the living room's wireless router, the signal was weak but the download speed was decent.

  Is that what I can do to help increase the download speed? Any idea/useful experience will be greatly appreciated! My router is not Linksys but custom-made by my ISP to support DSL, phone and TV at the same time.

Make sure the Distance between your router and not more then 40 WRE54G fts 40 fts and the distance between your WRE54G and not your computer. Once you have done this right connections, after that, you can check the speed of your computer.
