RT2870 automatic installation service has reported an invalid current state 0.

This is my first posting, so be gentle with me

I discovered that each Windows session seems to result in a record of the event (Event ID 7016) with the description Viewer:

RT2870 automatic installation service has reported an invalid current state 0.

I understand that maybe it's something to do with my broadband connection or USB wireless adapter Tenda I should use, but as a non-techie, I'm not really sure.   And I do not know what is the function auto-install RT2870 function is supposed to have to pay.

Can someone explain how I can deal with the error, please

Thanks TwoPointOh.

As the error messages appear do not indicate a problem serious or critical, I'll follow your suggestions at your leisure.

And thanks for the tips and suggestions.

After a month of butting heads with the refusal of Microsoft to actually help except to sell us all a new copy of Vista or Win7 at the normal price I solved the problem myself.

    1. I made a list of all my software purchased, including required registration keys, etc. and site URL for those who I don't have a disk for.
    2. Deleted registry back up on my external hard disk, reloading apparently one makes the backed up registry problems breed more.
    3. Inserted my drive from Dell to factory since 2007 and restarted. Press a key to boot from the CD. Chose "reformat hard drive' first, then when prompted hit"Reinstall"(slightly different wording on your computer).
    4. After you have reinstalled the factory disc 32-bit Vista, I spent hours 7 next installation of SP1, SP2 and hundreds of updates. Note that several times Windows Update said some updates to date has failed, but finally everything installed correctly by repeating the sequence of installation/reboot to update. There have been a few files that reported to turn off computer completely, I've shown... clicked with indicator shutdown (stop), let it do its thing until it turned off the computer and then the computer restarted manually later. After a total of 8 hours and 14 minutes as my Vista has been fully loaded, updated the installer is still intact, everything works very well and did not cost a penny.

It has been 2 days since the reformatting/reinstall. I reinstalled all my additional software without problem. System Mechanic is back in service without any prejudice to my installation Service. Seems that something is involved with .NET Framework 4 triggered a defense mechanism that caused the installer should be deleted, solved the problem of the .NET Framework from Microsoft, but it can be installed by the installer being removed to protect our computers. The question was not just with Dell computers, it is Dell support is just as incompetent that Microsoft support batch so more Dell owners were here to complain.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FYI: my mobile Samsung with Win7, the correction was easier because my installation Service has not been removed:

    1. Uninstalled all the software using .net Framework 4 (only 2)
    2. Uninstalled all .net Framework 4 bodies found on my list of programs (Client Profile and Essentials)
    3. A ran my System Mechanic to remove debris aka too much clutter and correct registry problems
    4. Laptop rebooted then ran Windows Update. All the updates installed with 3 requiring the judgment to install. .NET framework reinstalled with updates.
    5. Reinstalled my 2 pieces of software that use .NET Framework.

It has been 4 days without any problem at all. So, in my case, it's .NET Framework 4 that created and continued the problem, even if the specific audit FixIt kept saying all .NET Frameworks have been installed correctly.

  • Automatic configuration service ipv6 has any special installation?

    When I run the

order of the interface fa0/0 R2, R3 on the other end is configured with a static global unicast address, should R2 use NDP and find the prefix and eui - 64 to make the host ID without the need for any other configuration specail?

Or I have to correctly answer to R2 R3 value?

For the moment, I do this in GN3 but R2 is only coming up with a link-local address.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

by default, Cisco routers behave as IPv6 hosts until ipv6, unicast routing is configured in global configuration mode and then it starts sending RAs and response to the RS of the device that is configured on an interface SLAAC.

Then configure this command on R3 and R2 will obtain a prefix of R3 and use EUI64 to complete the host Party.

    Kind regards.

THIS ONLY if APPLIES to vShield Zones / App vShield

One last thing, you mentioned this announcement on the beta site which tells me that you had a pre - GA on areas/App version installed. If that were the case, or maybe a previous installation of App/areas (Beta) had an installation/uninstallation failed, then do this procedure to clean the host of all the previous components.

    1. remove the vmservice-vswitch created during installation (assuming that there is no other device that uses this vswitch)

2 remove the address 169.x.x.x, given the Net.DVFilterBindIpAddress of the host property.

    Detailed procedure:

    1. go through the uninstall process each time as

possible (if one of the components to show as it is installed). Then go to the

    next steps.

    2. search for the vmservice-vswitch and delete

it. it is a vSwitch without physical adapters service that was created

during the installation. It will have 2 groups of ports, one called

vmservice-vmknic-pg and the other vmservice vsheild pg.

    3. Select the ESX host on the left hand side

tree on the right hand click the Configuration tab pane and click

Advanced settings of the software. In the Advaced search page settings

the Net section, then select it. Scroll through all the

way down and then make your way up until you find

    Net.DVFilterBindIpAddress = 169.254.1.1. Remove the 169.254.1.1 and

    Click OK.

    4. installation of APP vShield vShield Zones should now work.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

I also send an error report whenever this happens.

The computer is running XP, but lately some settings have been changed such that the display is windows classic instead of XP.

In addition, I can't run Windows Update completely. It freezes / hangs up in the middle of the update. I have also no audio.

Reinstalling the operating system is unable to solve your problem. There is no need to do this if the problem is not related to the operating system and you find that you are back where you started.

You gave us a general indication of the nature of the problem but the specific error reports are a much easier solution.

When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) the system failure occurs, for most users, there not enough time to fully record what he says. the exact text is important for anyone trying to diagnose what is wrong. You can save time when the error occurs then by following the procedure described below.

If you already did it disable the auto reboot system error. This should help by allowing the time to write the code to Stop error and related information correctly. Do right click on the icon my computer on the desktop and select Properties, advanced, startup and recovery, system failure and uncheck the box before automatically restarting. Re-do not enable automatic restart in the event of system failure after obtaining this information, this setting is the best left to not allow an automatic restart.

If the failure occurs during the initialization of the computer, you need to try a different approach. You can access the Advanced Options Menu of Windows on multiple computers by constantly pressing the F8 (key) key when starting and selecting the option - disable automatic restart in case of system error. This method is not always easy to use because it may be difficult to press the F8 key at the right time. Try again if it doesn't work the first time. On some computers, a different key must be used.

Take a look in the system and Application logs in the errors and warnings event viewer and post here the copies. Do not post on that more than 48 hours ago.

You can access event viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, and Event Viewer. When searching for the meaning of the error, information about the event ID, Source and Description are important.

A tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. You will see a button resembling two pages. Click on the button and close Event Viewer. This places a copy of the report to your Clipboard. Paste it into the body of your message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

    Hope this helps, Gerry Cornell

As you can see above, the service has been disabled for a reason-you need to set it to start automatically, but delayed.

Open a command prompt and run the following command:

SC CONFIG SPPSVC/Start = auto delayed

    (Note the space!)

Restart and after another MGADiag report.

  • The user profile service has no connection could not load profile __User

I use Windows 7 ultimate, I can't log on to the computer that shows me that "the user profile service has no connection. Unable to load the user profile.

    So how do I do?

This error can usually be fixed by following the steps below. All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

1 log on to a different user account with administrative privileges. If you neglected to make an account additional administrative steps 2-3. Otherwise, continue to step 4. See also General information on setting up the accounts of users at the end of this post.

2 in Mode safe boot. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. That you will get to the menu on the right where you can use your arrow key to select Mode safe [Enter]. The built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in Windows 7. However, if no other administrative accounts exist on the system it can be activated. If this is the case, you will see an icon for the administrator on the homescreen mode without failure. Login to the administrator.

3 If you don't see the icon for the administrator mode safe account, then the built-in Administrator account is always disabled so you will need to work more. If you have a Windows 7 DVD installation (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

If you do not have an installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows 7 (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode.  Or you can make a bootable DVD of Windows 7 repair of the file on this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2009/Windows-7-system-repair-discs/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent asmuTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. If you create the bootable DVD in an older operating system, you need third-party burning like Nero, Roxio or free ImgBurn software to burn the .iso image image file, not in the form of data. Windows 7 can burn the .isos natively.

Now, remove the rescue DVD you made, restart windows system and log into the built-in Administrator account, you enabled.

    4. try a system restore to when things worked. If you can log in to your user account, you are finished. Otherwise, continue to step 5.

    5. the critical files are under % systemdrive%\users\user-account\ntuser. The ntuser.dat file is actually a registry hive. Run Regedit high and select HKEY_USERS and "load hive" in the menu. Now, go to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

There is a line for each profile. If a profile is bad, check:

    (a) that the name of the key does not stop in ".bak" (remove .bak If it)
    (b) that the RefCount value is 0 (change it if it is different)
    (c) that the State value is 0 (change if different)

Make the necessary changes, close Regedit and try to connect as this user.

    6. If that doesn't solve your profile, it is corrupt. When you do that, you should make a new Standard user account and copy your data to it. Do not delete the old account until you have recovered data you need!

Once everything works, go to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Windows 7

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. Like XP, Vista and all the other modern operating systems, Windows 7 is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges in Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it can be more work you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

  • "Error 1719. Able to access the Windows Installer Service"when you install programs.

After spending the last week every night trying to get some software installed (and of course the search for remedies in probably all available forums), I let go and post this request for assistance. But first my story:

I have lived the last week suddenly my Neat Receipts software does not recognize my scanner more. Trying to reinstall the software, I came across the error that Windows Installer could not be started. That's when I started first for solutions. I was surprised how many solutions I found (but more redoubled practically the same thing), but none did it for me. At this point, I was always under the assumption that it is a problem of the Neat Receipts software.

Then after another night of frustration I could not pass my trial version Office 2010 plus a sort of license error. I was a little surprised that the trial version which abruptly ended without giving me the opportunity to enter a license key (I got wrong), but doesn't bother too much because I liked the product and had noticed last week as well as Office 2010 is already officially released and I decided to buy it. After spending about $300 and a successful upload, I tried to install it.

And here my saga continues. First I got the message that I couldn't upgrade my trial version and need to uninstall. Uninstall with the uninstaller routine does not work (windows error message install), but I could uninstall it using the Windows-Install-Clean-Up utility. Now, I can start the installation process, but after being nearly halfway through the installation, I again get the error of Windows install the Windows Installer Service cannot be accessed (Error 1719). It is roughly the same error that I got at the beginning, when I tried to reinstall the software, Neat receipts. So, it seems not to be a misapplication of Neat receipts or Office 2010, but a windows problem.

The frustrating thing however is that after spending all hours searching online for solutions, the only thing I've discovered is that I am in good company (i.e. There are many others have reported the same problem), but none of the solutions work. Just to be safe, do not for get the same Advisor I tried already several times, let me enumerate what I've done so far:

    1. I am logged on as administrator

2 - I started the Windows Installer service

    3 - I ran SCF /sannow (no problems found)

    4. I not saved and re-entered the msiecec with / opt and/regserver. I did so explicitly for BOTH (!) msiexec programs, one in the system32 folder and the one in the sysWOW64 folder

    5. I tried to repair Windows 7 boot from the windows 7 installation DVD and run the option repair (no problem found)

    6. I tried to pass the parameter registry WOW64 (for MSIServer) from 1 to 0 (I found this in one of the suggested solutions) [and later again back to the original value 1]

    7. I tried to 'force' windows to ignore the msiexec for 64 bit (in the system32 folder) by renaming and by identifying the msiexec for 32 bit 9 in the sysWOW64 folder) and update the path regsever C:\Windows\system32\msiexec.exe \V to C:\Windows\syswow64\msiexec.exe \V

8 - I disabled my firewall and antivirus

9 - I did everything above in many variations with reset (both the save option - reboot)

-in fact, I could do things more I can't remember.

Unfortunately a recovery is not an option most, because I guess I tried too many things and my view of the possible return is a point in which my computer was already in place...

I tried to involve as well a representative of Microsoft support explaining my dilemma, but only made e-mail a generic response on this same forum (great customer service!).

While I was actually pretty happy in the last 4 months with my new Windows7 (and thus Office2010), I am now reaching the point where I fell like throwing finally the towel and kiss goodbye to Microsoft. I was seriously considering to move to Apple before decide me in February favor some cheaper hardware to continue with Microsoft and the new Windows7. But this experience not being able to fix my computer after spending nights in the search for solutions and not be able to get support from Microsoft disgusts me.

Now I wonder if there is someone out there who could help me out here...

Of course, the .msi applies only to installers .msi, which was my mistake for which I apologize.  Regarding a clean installation, the fact remains that you have faced this anomaly for several days, a clean install, despite the pain, would be a distant memory now.  This is my personal opinion, not Microsoft, they me disavowed a long time ago, in all cases MVPS have nothing to do with Microsoft, although the price is published by Microsoft, it is awarded for the caregiver, or in this case try to help others.  It is good that I can at least allow you to vent, it's better out there that maintenus kept bottled upward, no matter how hard it seems to fix the problem, it will be resolved in your favor by subsequently, one way or the other.

In pursuing the side of permissions of things you can try that if you wish.

This example may or may not work for you, with your program?

"It seems that the"Run as Administrator"command gives you administrative privileges only, and they are not enough to install Java (and OpenOffice, by association). To work around this problem, you must actually connect to an administrator. Open a command prompt with admin rights by clicking Start, type cmd in the search/run box, hit CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER. At the prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes

Then disconnect from your regular account and record as an administrator, you should be able to install the program. When you are finished, open a session to your regular account and, for security reasons, disabling the account administrator for assistance:

    «net user administrator / active: No.»

    http://user.Services.OpenOffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11706#p55879

See if this program you can tell what is happening with the failure of the Office to install.
