Rule/system variable data

Hello

on 5.6.4
There is an out of the box rule:
High_System_Usage
type of topology is: Windows_System_Top_CPU_Table
In the status tab there:

If (entry.get ("Pct_CPU") > f4registry ("HighSystemCritical")) {}
return 3;

What is pct_CPU?
It's a metric? Data collected? How can I create a rule/value system variable?
In other words how to tell foglight:

MyVaraible = Pct_CPU

Thank you.

Hope these helps.

  • Creating a variable that contains the value of the variable system (Long) Date of change

    Can someone tell me how to write a script to create a variable named DocDate, which contains the value of the variable of system (Long) Date of change? Or write a script that creates a variable named DocDate, which contains the current date? I can't find a lot of documentation on scripting ExtendScript.

    Hi Julee, when you create a user variable in the interface, you cannot include the building blocks of time in the definition. They can only be used in system like the System Date of Modification (Long) variable variables. So the question is, why not just use the variable Date of change (Long) system in your document? What is the purpose of the variable user DocDate? Let me know what you think here, and I can try to help you.

  • Nonlinear quiz and System Variables

    I a non-linear with 3 sets of content that are all accessible from a menu. Each lesson has it's own set of issues after the content slides. I have introduced a "checkpoint results slide" at the end of each set of questions to give to the learner a feeling of his performance (rather than waiting until the end of all 3 lessons for the generated system quiz results slide). I wanted the learner to have the flexibility to do the lesson he feels like, answering questions, getting feedback, back on the menu, click on another lesson not visited and so, until all the lessons are visited, he gets his results and he left.

    Screen Shot 2016-08-24 at 9.00.12 PM.png

    The problem is that if the learner decides to start with unit 2 and not issues, when he revisits the menu and go to unit 3 or 1 unit Captivate doesn't seem not to recognize that it is a continuation of the quiz. Thus, it defines the question numbering back to "question 1" create an impossible situation for the system generated quiz results slide because I noticed that the system variables are also no update (I on the slide to test). In the end, the result slide final quiz is filled errors NaN because the system variables do not recognize the scope I guess.

    I gave in and made the linear project forcing the learner visit 1, 2, and then visit 3 (I hate everything simply!) and it worked. What I am doing wrong? Is the system generated results slide in Captivate quiz is possible for linear activity?

    I have my own variables to provide data user for my checkpoint slides (slides personalized results) and the project worked fine WITHOUT the beauty of having the result slide generated automatic system with the options of exam questions, which is a shame. Does that mean that I can not activate the two options, and I should just create my own final results slide? I hope not.

    Screen Shot 2016-08-24 at 7.08.33 PM.png

    All advice always appreciated.

    If I understand the question, branch of knowledge is not the solution of the IMO. This feature will make the dynamic variable quiz, which means that only questions taken by the user must be included in system quiz on the slide of score variables: percentage, score, the maximum score, etc. Take a look at the example in this blog post:

    Direction of the Quiz in the news - Captivate blog

    Also branch to the current will limit the navigation in your course, and who is not wanted in this case I guess.

    A few ideas based on my understanding of the issue:

    • If you want each part of the quiz (because CP will see the total quiz as a quiz) to have its own progress indicator, you need to create a custom progress indicator. I explained everything quite on time: custom - Captivate blog progress indicator
    • If you want to display the score on each side of the quiz, you must create custom mark slides (have an another blog post, but dare not post links more).
    • The most important advice: you must make sure that you get out of the scope of the Quiz while providing freedom of navigation for the user. As long as you stay under quiz (CP now has a system variable to verify during testing) the Quiz attempt is not considered finished. Since you say that responses have been reset after a game, this means that a new attempt started wss Quiz that must be avoided. An easy way is to make sure that the entire course is within the scope of quiz, which you can get by adding an object to the first slide and putting the score at the end slide.
  • How to get the apex developing system variables

    Hi all

    Please help me find system variables, such as user name, the date system, workspace name, Application name, name of the registered source (field of the table) etc... in the apex development environment.

    Thank you
    Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

    If you want to get all the items page,... on the current page have a look at the views of the APEX dictionary. You can query all the metadata of your application at run time. For example

    select item_name
      from apex_application_page_items
     where application_id = :APP_ID
       and page_id        in (0, :APP_PAGE_ID)
     order by item_name

    will return the page all items on the current page and on page 0 names. Page 0 is a global page where all the components of this page to get merged into the current page during execution.

    The APEX_DICTIONARY view to return all the available Apex dictionary views.

  • Read error - SOLUTION system configuration data

    Today, I found a solution to the error of notorious boot not only on the toshiba, but some other brands also.

    The error is: System configuration data read error.
    He invites to start with 2 beeps which prevents the computer laptop Moldavian from.

    I tried everything I could to remve this message but noything helped me.
    Replace all, cmos battery, updated the bios, loader, drives, keyboard and etc.

    Today, I found a solution very simple that I want to share with you guys.
    This solution worked for me and I hope it will work for you too.

    Are you ready? :)

    Go to the Bios and change the Bios language french.

    Post here if it works for you also.

    Thanks for sharing your experience with us. But its really hard to believe that your solution would be linked to all devices such problem

    However, good to know that this small change in the BIOS has helped you to resolve the issue

  • Satellite A300D-135 - BIOS - System Configuration data read error

    After starting a Satellite A300D-135 laptop computer, the following error message appears:

    Press to resume, installation

    After pressing F1 the machine starts Windows, very well, but the error message is quite irritating, while it comes with a loud BEEP

    I tried the following things so far (in that particular order):
    -Load BIOS default
    -Flashed the BIOS with the latest version of the BIOS (2.80) for this type of model
    -Reinstalled windows with HARD drive format

    All the these did not work.

    I saw the same message appearing on several places on the internet (on different laptops with a Phoenix BIOS in common), but so far I have not been able to find a working solution.

    It might me a hardware problem, but all devices (vga, soiund, lan, wifi, usb, hdd) seem to work perfectly under Windows, so this does not seem the question). Another solution that is mentioned in some forums, replace the battery. But because the phone keeps time correctly I don't think it's the case either.

    Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Hello

    The POST (power on self-test) BIOS checks and detects errors on the motherboard.
    I think it has something to do with the hardware on the motherboard problem.
    I doubt that you can solve this if update of the BIOS and the BIOS default settings didn't change that.

    What to say; I think that the technician of the ASP should run tests to check what's wrong or what cause this I think it is question of s mobo.

  • Backup system state data

    I want the XP Home System State backup as the data I plan on the rationalization of the registry and of course need the backup in the case where I live.

    Microsoft has a backup program on the XP home CD.

    Toshiba has a recovery disk so I don't have the CD.

    I don't think I needed the backup program that I have another backup program, but I was wrong. To back up the system state data, my backup program requires that I have copy their help:

    To back up the locking system files under Windows NT4, 2000 and XP systems dfg backup XP uses components of NT backup, which is part of the operating system. In Windows XP Home Edition that the NT backup is not installed by default, so you must install it manually. The NT backup is located on the Windows XP CD in the \VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP directory. If you need to restore files in the System State, you will need to use the NT backup after you have it extracted from Zip archive.

    So it seems the only way to save the complete registry and the boot files is to install Microsoft backup program.

    It's on the the recovery Toshiba Satellite 2450 this disc anyone know? It is not the disk tools.

    I can't find anything on a backup program listed here.

    Appreciate any help.

    Hi TW,.

    Check if you have a "VALUEADD" folder installed on your HARD drive. Some OEM installations actually install to the hard drive. You should find the Microsoft Backup utility in there.

  • How to reset the System Variables in VBAI

    Is there a way to reset the system - mainly inspected #Parts, #Pass, #Fail Variables?

    I have a Script to control which measures defined in a reel of material bandsaw.  It runs, the UI dislplays #Pass & #Fail and locations together on a graph of sweeping measures.  Once the coil is made, I need to reset the #Pass & #Fail and get the scan graph to return to zero.  I can create my own control for the success/failure Variables, but that seems reduntant and also it does not reset the scan graph.

    You will need to keep track of your passage # / #Fail and not use system variables integrated (since built-in variables do not behave as you want). You can also put a property node in your custom user interface code and run the VI of the step of updating UI Inspection to reset the ranking history when a Boolean value is true, and you set this hidden boolean true when you want to the chart of the band to reset.

    Hope this helps,

  • the system state data can be contained in 2 different folders, e.g. Windows or host1

    Hello

    Recently, my computer was able to start and I had neglected to backup my data. While dealing with the Windows Recovery Console, I inadvertently added a folder called host1 to the system. I tried to replace and remove this folder, but could not. Currently, I'm trying to back up my data to the system state by using the Windows backup utility. What's weird, is that in the log file, "Host1" is listed under the file saved to the system state data. Previously, these data were in the "Windows" folder The content of two files seems to be identical. I need to get rid of unnecessary duplication in my system. The backup file size was more than 200 gb. Phew!

    Thank you

    Before deleting copy just the system folder windows.old + System32 files (these files contain most of the settings and drivers. (In the case where in the future you need a driver for a printer you have you can always point windows to find in these files) in a new folder on the C drive and delete the rest in the windows.old and the folder windows.old himself. You could rename the Windows folder and not the host1 because XP uses host1 as its new folder. This is where the operating system boots from. The old windows folder contains more data due to past use and all programs that you have installed since you had the PC.

  • assignment of session system variable to a dynamic repository variable obiee 11g

    Hi all

    It is possible to assign to a session system variable (: USER) in a referential dynamic variable initialization block?

    Something like below

    Select the country of DM_users where user_name = ": USER '"

    We should use NQ_SESSION. USER?

    It is possible with a session variable that is independent of the system. But we have some questions to create session variables in our environment. Any help will be much appreciated

    Thank you

    AJ

    Once again: it is not a block for a variable repository init. It is a block init for a session variable.

    If your admins have a problem with that then they better run a full review of all the variables and init blocks and see those who are garbage, who is misconfigured, who is not marked with 'performance', even though they should be postponed.

    A system is saturated with session variables does not mean you can use variables to repository instead of session ones. The scope of a variable of deposit is the same for all users. You cannot change this behavior, unless you force the BI server to cycle (stop and start) whenever a user logs on (it's a joke by the way).

    I use Jdev 11.1.2.4

    Any help why this configuration works on production envirement?

    My system-jazn-"Data.xml" has entered correct...

    Finally, I found... Administrator develop new envirement and they use java 1.8 (WTF). Have to kill them immediately after to write this post...

    I found that the search to setDomainEnv.sh

    Changed start at 1.6 and all works like magic... IM really surprised that start weblogic with java 8 and generate strange symtomps with authentication...

    I thank all of you for the help

  • Get-VMHost: you have changed the world: DefaultVIServer and global: DefaultVIServers system variables. This is not allowed. Please reset them to $null and reconnect the server vSphere.

    Hello world

    After the upgrade to PowerCLI version 5.1 however I can't run even the simplest command because it always ends up with the following error:

    Get-VMHost: you have changed the world: DefaultVIServer and global: DefaultVIServers system variables. This is not aRA. Please reset them to $null and reconnect the server vSphere.

    Can someone please suggest to me how to fix the script for my v3.2.0 PowerGUI IDE can work with the latest PowerCLI in my computer laptop 64 bit Windows 7?

    Thank you.

    And I just tried with PowerGui (same versions of PowerGUI and PowerCLI you use), no problem.

    Must be something local on your desktop.

    Maybe try a uninstall/reinstall of PowerGUI?

  • system variable in a query

    Hello

    I would use a system variable in a query in the where clause. How can I use it?

    Thanks in advance:

    Hello

    I need to access the value of a variable of an oracle query Windows System.

    This is a step in the right direction.

    It must pass the variable to your application when you start the application.  For example, in Windows you would say:

    C: > SET d = 10

    C: > SQLPLUS username@database @d:\sql_scripts\my_script %%d

    Where my_script.sql is something like this:

    SET target_deptno = & 1

    SELECT ename, empno and deptno
    FROM scott.emp
    WHERE deptno = & target_deptno
    ;

  • Use of system variables in the configs

    Hello

    I need to build strings using java system variables and place them in tangosol-coherence - override.xml

    I need something like this:

    <init-params>
        <init-param>
            <param-type>java.lang.String</param-type>
            <param-value>${somePath}/coherence/cache-config.xml</param-value>
        </init-param/>
    </init-params>

    Can I use a placeholder in the form ${some} to be replaced by the variable system during execution?

    Thank you in advance!

    I assume you mean the system property.

    You should be able to use syntax like this.

    / Home/myaccount/Coherence/cache-config. XML

    Then the system my.own.cache.config set property just to substitute it at runtime, for example, "/ home/otheraccount/coherence/cache-config.xml".
