  It seems that you do not use the functions of start modal dialog/end modal dialog located on the TestStand palette. Add them to the end very beginner and even your VI and it should work as you want.

  The application was developed with InDesign 6.0

  You will need to register for Apple Developer account and then gather all the UDID (Apple this limit to only 100 devices) you want to your application must be installed on. Create your mobile configuration profiles to include these ID's and you can then use TestFlight to get your app and the monitor that installed it. Of course Testflight is intended to monitor the performance of your apps, but I'm sure you can get away with it if you use it to push you app. One thing to keep in mind is that the mobile profiles provisoning are valid for 1 year.   I bought Trend Micro Pro 3.0 (old version) & installed the ver.1st of the trial. I have Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2 and IE 9. The prog. would not respond. I thought that it might have been a conflict w/Microsoft Security Essentials (which was never a prob. in the past), although I have deleted the virus Microsoft prog. Trend Micro has always failed. I think now that it was (not) compatible with IE 9. I've got uninstallled prog of Trend Micro Pro 3.0. and have re-installed the program Microsoft Security Essentials. I have a Playstation 3 & an Android phone, I still have to connect to my PC. I want to download anti-virus Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security, or a more recent version of Trend Micro Titanium Antivirus Program (for peace of mind). I want to still keep the program Microsoft Security Essentials, I was feeling pretty yucky before deletion because in the past, that I don't have problems like this, as when I had Norton Internet Security. It also applies when I had a trial version of Avast Antivirus running with Microsoft Security Essentials, with no problems (I cared not for Avast, that's just my personal preference).   It is not a good idea to run more than one antivirus real-time program together. The potential is there for the conflicts and it slows down your system.
  To avoid these problems, use only one anti-virus solution. It is your choice to decide which one to use.

  You don't have to install anything. So why can not run portable applications on RT?

  I know exactly what is a portable application. It requires no additional drivers installed or libraries to run on a system, if one is required that they are either built into the executable and extracted the runtime or are included in the same location as the executable and are referenced from this location.

  No portable application is not somehow the operating system to display the current status, error messages or generate logs for its operation. If it cannot accept input during its operation or generate a form of output it has no function. This is the basic description of a program to have one or the other or both.

  When you double-click an executable file is Windows (if it's the operating system) giving you the ability to open its location, see the executable file in order to select and issue the command to run. It's Windows that then loads this program in memory to run. If necessary, Windows that displays the dialog box to provide any input and display results or error messages generated by the program. If the result is a log file that it is Windows that allows access to the drive to create the file and the result is an error state in Windows that stores the status of the error, then it can be interpreted by another program. If the output is to change the status of the computer in a way, it's Windows that gives access to this device or component. The Hardware Abstraction Layer allows access to the hardware itself if necessary by a program and even that is a part of Windows.

  My company has had this machine for awhile not operational.  I decided it was time to get this thing running but continue to flock to the top with a 200485 error when I try to run Labview and 88705-error when I try to change anything in the cDAQ-9172 runs at MAX.  I'll try to update the software and reinstall the drivers in the hope that it is a mistake to simple communication from the device to the computer, but in case it's something more serious that I am not seeing that I wanted to post this in the hope that someone might have an answer.  Thank you

  I would start by checking the device loader OR. Error 88705 in MAX is caused because the Windows Service OR device charger has not been loaded. Below is an article about starting the service knowledge base.

  Hi all.

  I have a plug-ins for exporting a book to PDF running successfully for InDesign CS2, CS3, CS4 and CS5, but now in the new version of InDesign CS5.5 the application crash.

  I made a lot of changes in the code using different ways of doing the same thing, but in all cases the crash of the application to export in PDF format

  I use the updated CS5.5 7.5.1 where, theoretically, this problem has been resolved:

  Due to a change in CS5.5 you also now get the classID of the service provider that you want to export, as well as your IBookOutputActionCmdData:

  data-> SetExportProviderClassID (classID);

  For export to the PDF format, your options for the class identifier are:

  kPDFExportBookBoss

  or

  kInteractivePDFExportBookBoss

  I do Veristand project who uses a lot o custom code for additional features (database Custom logging, several preconfigured stimulus profile running on action of the user, custom logging datafile, customized SCADA-like display of the State of the system (pipes, valves, pumps, etc.)). On any other user of hand interface for the control of the program must be simple, because operators use (the only options, no change in operation) and similar to the previous system solution (which was HMI, touch screen with multiple monitors).

  I plan to do LabVIEW custom application for GUI which communicates with the gateway Veristand and target using API functions.

  However, I want to implement some already existing in the workspace tools in LabVIEW code, such as monitor of the alarm. There are "Open workspace tool" API functions in the labVIEW Veristand API function list. This function requires the toolpath to workspace as an argument. How can I set path for those built in the workspace tools? I'm not managing to find with the simple search.

  I use the user interface of LabVIEW Simple (Simple OI - VI.vi first level) for my application teststand with small changes. Here, I don't want to click the button run every time.   There's a DoClick method for the TS user interface buttons! Just wire the ref button to invoke node and locate the DoClick method.

• cRIO run multiple Applications?

  Is it possible to run multiple applications on a target cRIO?  Would they all need to be part of the same project in LabVIEW?  Can I set more than one as a starting VI or need to create a VI that would start up individule applications?  They are the basics of Ethernet and not to use or share any what I/O.  I looked around, but didn't see much information on this subject.  Thank you!

  It is possible to run several applications on a target of cRIO as long as they are in the same project and do not exceed the capacity of the target memory. You can only mark a VI the sixth start-up, but, as you said, you have this VI call your other applications. You can find useful the following documentation:

• Error when you try to run an application that worked when built with 8.6

  I have a simple program that I wrote in the 8.6 version that I've never had a problem generation and execution of applications built with it to 8.6.  Two weeks ago, I got 2009 by mail because we had very recently purchased 8.6 and I get errors when you try to run an application built with the same code using 2009.  The error relates to the Mean.vi.  He claims that he can't find it.  The error I get is as follows:

  Error loading VI 'NI_AALBase.lvlib:Mean.vi '.  LabVIEW support 3 error code: could not load façade.  I don't have access to the front panel of this vi, so I wonder if there is a problem with the runtime and not my code.  Please answer as soon as possible because it will quickly start to the impact of my calendar.  Thank you.

  Rule of thumb: when creating a Setup program do not forget that the option "Run Time Engine xxxx" in the category "Other installers" is selected despite the fact that the runtime is already installed.

  I would like to distribute my target real-time application, myrttapp.rtexe, to other users who have not installed LabVIEW. I have an application in front of the side Windows that communicates with him using shared variables. It is started as a standard myfpapp.exe in Windows. When I installed on my side LabVIEW Windows PC, I can start myrttapp.rtexe using the Project Explorer > build specifications > RT. CLK. myrttapp.rtexe > run as startup. However, people who I will distribute myrttapp.rtexe, will not have access to the Project Explorer since then have not installed LabVIEW.

  Is there a way I can start myrttapp.rtexe without using the Project Explorer or LabVIEW?

  I have no real experience with later versions of the RT and no experience at all with FPGA module, so I can't really answer any of these questions.

  My suggestion to stop the program had to have the code in the program that waits for a command and then properly stops the program. This command can be sent over TCP, can be defined by flipping a DIP switch or by triggering a DI, etc.. I'm guessing that the RT target would not let you replace the rtexe file, while she is still ongoing, but that's just a guess.

  Now, I have the problem that the tasks are missing on this PC and I get errors when I run the application.

  I wonder why these tasks are not put into the application automatically? What should I do now? Can I somehow export tasks in MAX and copy them to the other PC? Is not complicate it?

  Have you created your tasks of measurement and Automation Explorer?

  If this is the case, you must export the file of configuration of measurement and Automation Explorer and then import it on the other computer.

  With LabVIEW 2010, you can import a configuration via your Installer file, but I don't know if you can do it with LabVIEW 7.1
