• Firefox is unable to navigate on Windows 7 when firefox.exe is running the system of custom files

  I have a custom file system (for example, I have the code). It translates queries the file system to the network requests at the block level (not at the level of the file system as MUP). When firefox is hosted on this file system volume, it can be launched, but he is unable to browse any websites.   4. start firefox with the admin account
  Dig deeper:
  I used IrpTracker to find the failure. Firefox fails to create the socket. The socket() call goes to winsock and winsock is in turn NtCreate on '\Device\AFD '. This create call will fail leading to the failure of the socket. However, this happens not when firefox is run from the local disk based volumes with NTFS or FAT.
  Winsock network event monitor confirms it. It shows: call failed with the status code returned 0xC0000225 (STATUS_NOT_FOUND)
  Please let me know if anyone out there has clues.

• How install/run the soft token RSA on Windows 8?

  I'm a consultant, and my client uses the Soft-Token RSA software so that I can work remotely from time to time.  I just bought a new laptop from Windows 8, but can't seem to install the RSA on it.  Someone was able to install and run the software RSA Software Token on Windows 8?

  The Soft token RSA software is not on the Windows 8 Compatibility Center. You should check with the manufacturer to see if they have information on compatibility.

  You can install in compatibility mode for Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.
  You can right click on an .exe file and choose to resolve compatibility issues.

  Or you can go to the Control Panel, click on troubleshooting icon and follow the instructions.
  Select next, run programs for previous versions of Windows.

I tried to create this file with just the 1 set the variable, but subsequently autoconfig, all other variable R12 environment do not set!

  This must be OK you must create the custom manually directory and copy the file - see (Note: 430020.1) for a similar description.

  I think you can always be wrong to understand even if you got it working. The 'point' as the first character of the file name (as ".profile") means it is a file 'hidden' - it will not show on a default ls command.
