  3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
  4. If necessary and you have assigned a static IP address, try using for the preferred DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 at the level of the auxiliary DNS server.

  1. Use a fixed wireless channel as the 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto', try channel 1 first then the rest.

• in the right user account after the connection in the task bar icon flashes "windows need your permission to continue".

  I got a virus in my Vista computer cse.exe the so-called fake-AntiVirus. He has changed the file association for exe files. I fixed it and and deleted the program as well as its footprint in the registry. The virus attacks when I was in a non-administrative account. Therefore, any changes made to the registry were in the CURRENT_USER section.
  Still a problem. If I connect as User1 [non-admin] before any other action is taken, I see a tab flashing in the taskbar. It says "Windows needs your permission to continue". If I try to remove it the Explorer window dies and I get a clean screen with wallpaper and I have to restart. Of course if I provided the 'root' password every thing seems OK. I tried to identify any processes that can ask something looking at the tables Task Manager but don't see anything suspicious. If I do not touch the flashing tab I open the other Wndows Explorer since the icons I have on the desktop and NOT additional UAC asks pop up. The computer so that these experiences if offline. There is an another non administrator account on this computer. If I connect you no problem can be observed. Everything happens only in the account where the virus attacked.
  Any idea? Can I find out what program is doing admin type of request?

  We found a solution to the problem yourself.

  Our solution:

  On each page that uses the activity to call a workflow in the bindings, we added the executor of the ADF task flows Bindings type - taskFlow.

  The property is set (in my example):

  ID - taskFlowCall1

  taskFlowId - /WEB-INF/taskFlowCall1.xml#taskFlowCall1

• Run the local file after AnyConnect establishes a connection

  We have recently installed a pair of ASA 5525 and ran into a feature that was present on our old Juniper VPN solution that I can't read on the ASAs with AnyConnect news.  With the old solution when the VPN client on the computer of a user connected to the network, we would launch a program on the machine which would then map user share directories and printers - is there a similar solution with the installation of ASA\AnyConnect?  There is a batch file that is present in the same place on each of the assets of the company might be called to run this program, I just can't find a way to run the batch file, if possible.

  A solution to the issue is to have AnyConnect start before the connection of the user, then the program runs when the user opens a Windows session, but I would avoid this scenario if possible - I don't want AnyConnect launch before user logon.

• After running Thinkvantage System Update, unable to connect the wireless access point

  I've recently performed Thinkvantage System update for updating various programs/drivers on my T61p.  I've updated the V5.12 access connections.  In addition to this I was required to update driver V1.52 power management and functionality of the shortcut key for

  V2.10.0002 (two of them were the most recent available).

  After these updates, I can connect is no longer to any access point wireless that worked before this update.  I have tried to reinstall earlier versions of Access Connections, but still couldn't connect to wireless access points.

  ANY help would be appreciated.

  OK, problem solved.  I found that when I ran last weekend system update downloaded and installed an incorrect driver for my wireless hardware.  I installed the correct driver and now the connection to a wireless access point works.

  Certainly, I don't understand how/why not update system would be to download and install an incorrect driver.  VERY FRUSTRANT and TEDIOUS!

In addition, I have recently adopted a cat. His favorite thing to do is to tap dance across the keyboard.   When I stopped everything simply is not extinguished. It will let 10-30 minutes and just restart and brings me back to connect. After the connection of that my computer strikes a blackscreen im could not use the mouse and enter the Manager tasks, but nothing else, after a minute or two my bottom and loading of the task bar and I can use my computer normally.

  I have a simple application of JDEV where I added the 'Paper - Document Manager' task flow to jspx page. I also created a file of content repository connection. (pointing to a disk on the server). I deploy this application as an EAR and that you want to import in the WLS server instance. When you try to start the application, I get the following error.
  
  : oracle.mds.config.MDSConfigurationException:MDS - 01335: namespace "/ oracle/webcenter/content/models/registry" mapped to the metadata-store-use "WebCenterFileMetadataStore", but its definition was not found in the configuration of MDS.

  Your store default MDS when running Jdeveloper is core file. When deploying to WebLogic App Server store MDS is DB based.

  Also if you deploy the application directly from JDeveloper it prompts you for the partition and MDS connection. You build an EAR and manually deplying so the step was ignored.

  Looks like the latest firmware upgrade is the source of the problems.

  I've just updated my timecapsule 1 TB of first generation version 7.6.7 and my 3 TB timecapsule new version 7.7.7

  Both are connected to the router of the provider of Internet services and extend the network even in my house.

  WiFi is stable until the upgrade, but now the connection is lost every few minutes or seconds.

  Both versions are later to the respective timecapsules.

  I end up having to downgrade if no solution is found.

  Well, since nobody seems to have an explanation, and Apple are not out with firmware update after 7.7.7 and 7.6.7 I decided to downgrade the firmware to the previous version. I now run version 7.7.3 on the new 3 Tb Time Capsule and 7.6.3 on the 1st Gen Time Capsule. So far, the network is stable. Using WiFi Explorer Ii see that they use channel 6 and 8 respectively. Signal is strong and no dropouts have taken place so far. Hope the issue is resolved in the next firmware update.

  As I read in another post: firmware update does not solve a problem, you didn't. However, it can create a problem that you didn't.
