RV110W port forwarding issue and firmware 1.1.0.9

I saw a reference to the date of issue for firmware 1.1.0.9 (I think it was the number) for the RV110W but if I navigate on the firmware download page I only see 1.0.1.6 available for download.  Is it available somewhere or I I confused and saw a reference to something else?

I have a RV110W installed on a customer site that must be restarted about once a week because it stops, allowing incoming access to mapped ports.  For example, it stops transfer of connections on Port 25 for the e-mail server of the customer.  I thought for a while there was a problem with the mail server software, but after the elimination of other issues likely days, I rebooted the router and everything was fine.  Now the problem recurrs about once a week and reboot the router always fixed (it's week 3).  Shipping to ports 80, 443 and several others also stop working.

I was hoping that this has been fixed in a firmware fix, but maybe someone has seen this problem?

Thank you.

The 1.1.0.9 firmware image is now available for download here:

http://www.Cisco.com/Cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=283879340&CATID=268437899&softwareid=282487380&release=1.1.0.9&relind=available&rellifecycle=&RelType=latest

This version of the firmware will not work with earlier versions of the language pack.  When you upgrade to the 1.1.0.9 firmware version, it is recommended that you check the option "Reset to factory default.

I played with port forwarding with my two cams of linksys and other 3 g wireless network web pages on my local network I want to access from the outside world.  I have one to configure them to use other port 8081, but after a few experiments see it as useless.

I have a router linksys WRT54GL running dd - wrt V23 SP2 firmware and ports 80,81 and 443 (all in the field "port of") transmitted to cam1, cam2 and Western Digital NAS drive respectively. I found that because I'm port forwarding in any case, the two cams can continue to use port 80 and I 80 and 81 in the ' port of "or side defined WAN port 8080 bothers me to my router gui.

There's the rub for me, it is, I cannot use 80,81 and 443 of the side ports WAN routers forward my port, if I use a different port, I can't access anything whatsoever that is served as a web page. I discovered this when I installed the Transmission torrent client on my NAS drive, it has a web interface as well and uses the port 9091, however when I port transfer it via my router I can't web interface from outside my local network. If I change the WAN or 'port' 80 or 81 and let the 'port' to 9091 I get fine, but I need to disable the port front of webcam that uses this port.

I was going to get a 3rd and 4th IP Cam but will have the same problem, because it seems that only I can use ports 80, 81 and 443, and they are already exhausted. (I use 443 for secure access to my NAS drive) Change the port number in settings/options to 1024 or anything else works that if I leave it on the side of port forwarding LAN, WAN-side must always be 80 or 81.

The only way I can see around this is to create a page that will reside on my router or my drive NAS I can show more out of a camera on it - something, I want to do in any case.

PS. I do not use TZO, but I use dyndns so my dns is myname.dyndns.org.

Finally understood that there is a problem with blocked ports from my place of work, which is where I tried to connect from. When I connected to the internet with my laptop computer and aircard, I was able to get to ok. My solution when I want to check on the torrents of the work is to connect to my router GUI work, changing the port 80 or 81 and disable the webcam on this address.

  • Port Forwarding issue with HP Photosmart C7250 / Windows 7 / Linksys router

Help, please! I worked on this problem with HP, Microsoft, No - IP.com, etc with no resolution.

I have a 650 workstation DELL computer in office which has been recently formatted and had a clean install of Windows 7 will be of all installed updates. He is running Free AVG 9.0. There is a Linksys WRT54GS Wireless with disabled DMZ and Port 80 (only) active.

I have installed no.-solution of IP.com for the creation of a hostname to point to my dynamic IP address.

I need to have Port 80 go to the IP address of my PC so that I can set up synchronization option Wireless of my CRM with my iPhone and Blackberry. Instead, whenever I created the public IP address or host name, it brings me to the Web Interface of my HP Photosmart C7250 printer. Even, I assigned a static internal IP (and DNS) address to the printer (192.168.1.101) but no matter what I do Port 80 goes into that compared to the IP from my PC to 192.168.1.110 which is the IP in my router.  The printer is set up wireless on Channel 6 (WEP encryption).  UPnP is disabled.

I called HP and they said, there is no place that port forwarding is enabled. This doesn't seem to be the case. I tried to change the internal IP address of the PC to 192.168.1.101, but it had nothing works (could not ping or pull up the Web Interface for HP). I tried to add a different port number and it doesn't work.

I need Port 80 to connect to my IIS server. Microsoft says that this is but another State Tech that disrupts the HP software. From the HP Web Interface, it is what appears when I type in my host name or public IP address and it's not going to my PC, then I have a tendency to agree.

FYI... I unplugged the printer and now when I try to ping the public IP address, I always get a response (even after half an hour of the printer being disconnected). Please HELP ASAP! Thank you!!!

Solution - on secondment in case anyone else ever runs into this.  Update the firmware on the Linksys router did the trick!

  • Port forwarding for EYEMAX DVR on WIn Server 2012

We use the router as a network controller on our local network. Now, we have replaced router with the server (win 2012 r2 essentials). We have an EYEMAX DVR client software to connect to a remote ip address in the web.

Previously, I had the configuration of port forwarding router and EYEMAX was working. When we replaced the router with a server that I can no longer connect. I guess that there is a similar setting to perform on a server, but I can't figure out what to do. This certainly isn't a Firewall (when I turn it off EYEMAX still do not work).

There is a statement (http://site.camtechsurveillance.com/downloads/remoteacc.pdf) how to configure a router to work, but I do not know how to apply similar changes on the server.

    TL; DR.

How to do the same on the server like here http://site.camtechsurveillance.com/downloads/remoteacc.pdf

  • Port forwarding blocking access SSH, POP3, and IMPA

I recently acquired a Linksys EA8500 and very strange, annoying, and annoying problem has developed. I have a mail server and files in my home network I can access it from outside my house using a dynamic IP service. The server is running DNS as well, so it can be but from inside and outside the local network form using the same URL. Of course, external access, to set up the port forwarding on the router. This Setup has worked well with my previous, lower end, (a D-Link) router and, for a while, with the EA8500. However, there are some time (and I'm not aware of anything that has changed the situation) it doesn't work anymore: If port forwarding is enabled, requests for access over WiFi within the local network and outside the LAN are received by the server, as if they came from the top , instead of the actual computer and are thus rejected (authetication is through security keys). Always access requests work correctly on the cable connections and return to normal over WiFi if port forwarding is removed. Of course, this cancels the whole point of port forwarding. This never happened with the router D-Link and, as I mentioned, didn't happen with the EA8500 first. I have enabled and then disabled access as a guest and no DMZ have put in place, but which did not help. I have both the 2.5 MHz and 5 MHz networks active, although I'm only using version 2.5, but they have different sid, and I'm on the network with and without port forwarding 2.5 on.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Okay, I found where the problem was, and I apologize for having raised this issue just because I made a very stupid mistake. It turns out that I had added DNS servers external (outside my local file/mail/DNS server) to the list on my router (and I forgot about it). Cancel the additional DNS resolvers seems to have solved the problem. I'm far from understanding how the DNS works really, as you can see.

  • RV220W and Port forwarding

    Hello

I have a problem with my Cisco RV220W with Firmware 1.0.3.5

I have in my local network a Dreambox with the IP 192.168.1.230, he listen Port 8880.

How can I implement a WAN port forwarding to the Dreambox?

    Thank you

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Thank you for posting. Please follow the steps below to transfer the port to your Dreambox:

    1. Log in to the router, then go to: Firewall-> Access Control-Services > custom.
    2. Press 'Add' and then type Dreambox name, TCP for type. The Port of departure and Port of finish will be 8880. Press "Save".
    3. Go to the IPv4 firewall rules and press 'Add '. Use the following settings:

    Area: No reliable (WAN)

    Area: Trust (LAN)

    Service: Dreambox

    Action: Always allow the

    Source host: no

Send to the Local (DNAT IP) server: type the address LAN IP of the Dreambox here device (i.e. 192.168.1.150)

Ignore the other settings on this page and press 'Save' at the bottom. You should now be able to reach the Dreambox from the Web using: 8880

Please let us know if it works or if you need further assistance.

  • NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall SRXN3205 and port forwarding?

Hi, this is a long shot, but I'm pulling my hair out at this point and can be a bit over my head, as I am new on network

Small short story, I have two servers, one is the NAS box (IE if I connect via the internet to the site via public IP network from home, I get it that site says 'my actions' I insert login and pass and get access to them.)
    That is, everything is peachy.
The problem is when I try to connect to my FileMaker Server I'm not and instead, he takes me to the login NAS box. So I think ok, I need to port forward (5003 for filemaker) to go to different PC local LAN(192. etc)

Security > firewall > Add Service entering:
    Service: fmserver
    Action: Always leave
Send to LAN Server: unique address 192. etc is filemaker installed on (and different on a NAS)
    Definition of Port number: 5003<-- is="" this="" right?="" how="" else="" would="" you="" indicate="" you="" want="" all="" connections="" on="" this="" port="" to="" go="" to="" this="" specific="" lan="" machine="" from="" internet="" instead="" of="" default="" which="" seems="" to="" be="">
rest is default, I click on apply.

Here's what I don't understand. In the table of incoming Services, (security > firewall) I have two local IP in the list, a SIN, the other for Filemaker. But only the top works and can be connected to. I can move every top position and it will work, but they will not work at the same time, just the one that sits on the top of the sad Smiley page

and yes I read the manual again and again and don't know how I'm screwing up the port forwarding on this point, even if I am brand new to probably something stupid Smiley Happy (our work IT guy is gone so tried to get involved through this somehow)

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello sinieq,

There is a hierarchy on incoming service table, which is normal. I see 4 services added using "ANY" (ALL use any port number) you will need to remove/disable these because of the rule of the hierarchy on the table, all other services will be ignored when EVERYTHING is used. What is the port number used by the NAS Server? I don't see a port defined to access NAS. Try disabling services by using "ANY" and try again by adding the translation to the port number of the NAS.

    Let us know what happens.

    Thank you

  • with vlc and wvc54c port forwarding

I have an old wvc54c work with vlc through the LAN, but it won't work from WAN through a port forward.

I have installation of redirection of WAN port correctly with airport extreme - I have other new wvc54gcn cameras that operate through thin WAN but the same exact transfer configuration (changing only the local ip address) will not work with the former wvc54c.

What's wrong with the new WVC54gcn but the more wvc54c? Is there a work around I should use?

I tried using port 1024 instead of 80, as suggested by some other posts here.

    Thanks for any clarification!

OK, I thought about it. When installing the camera, I had not put something in the primary 'gateway' or 'dns '. I put them both to the IP of the router and who nailed him.

    Thanks for the help!

  • Most entries in table Port Forwarding on WRT54G V1, firmware 1.0.04)is

    Hello

I recently bought the above router. However, it seems that in its interface, I am able to put only limited port forwarding entries (about 10). My current DSL modem, I used before only a router, allowed me to add number of entries I wanted to though.

I am currently dangerously close (on a single PC, second PC is coming) to reach this limit. I know what I'm doing (i.e. all transmitted at intervals of ports are necessary, the applications do not support UPnP), and I don't want to disable the functionality of my software.

Therefore, could you please tell me how I will be able to add more entries? It seems ridiculous to artificially limit this functionality.

If you use the WRT as access points you can use all the remaining LAN ports on the WRT for wireline customers, i.e. you only 'drop' a port because you cannot use the internet port.

  • Question about WRT54G2 and port forwarding

Recently, I replaced my WRT54G with a new WRT54G2. My old router had the port forwarding for 2 pc is as follows:

    192.168.1.100

    6073 - UDP port

    2302-2303-TCP port

    192.168.1.101

    2302-2400-UDP

    6073 - at once

    8085 - at once

    TCP port 26100-26110

    27100-27110-both

When I try to set up my new router, it says I have overlapping of ports. Maybe I'm confused but how could he have been working on my old router and now it does not work on my new?

Of course, try this, and I think I could solve your problem.

  • Issue from site to site of SRP527w port forwarding

    Hello

I have problem with setting up port forwarding on the VPN between two cisco 527w.

Scenario when we see a tunnel VPN from Site to Site between Site A and B; a printer behind Site B must be accessible using the IP WAN of A Site address.

    Like the picture above:

-From site A, I am able to ping printer and printer access locally and via 120.146.x.x with port forwarding to installation on site has to the printer.

-From site B, I am able to ping A site gateway but not able to access the printer through 120.146.x.x. The printer can be access via 129.203.x.x if port forwarding is configured on the site B on the printer.

Cisco SRP 527w supports port forwarding via VPN site-to-site site A to site B printer?

Y at - it no suggest or another solution for this scenario?

Some help would be very appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Thai

    Hi thai,

I'm not entirely sure - I think that an IOS based router, for example, the 800 series, you could do with proper setup.

I would say that remote access to a printer or a server like this is perhaps not the most secure solution however.  A better approach would be to use a router that supports both a remote access VPN site.  With this, you must be able to use a VPN client to access the site with the IP address static, then tunnel to the other site where the device is.  You might consider the series RV of the device as well as IOS routers for that.

    Kind regards

  • L2l VPN between ASA with the IP address public and CISCO2911 behind the ISP router with port forwarding

    Hi all

My apologies if this is a trivial question, but I spent considerable time trying to search and had no luck.

I encountered a problem trying to set up a temporary L2L VPN from a Subscriber with CISCO2911 sitting behind the router of the ISP of an ASA. ISP has informed that I can't ignore their device and complete the circuit Internet on the Cisco for a reason, so I'm stuck with it. The Setup is:

    company 10.1.17.1 - y.y.y.y - router Internet - z.z.z.z - ISP - LAN - 10.x.x.2 - XXX1 - ASA - 10.1.17.2 - CISCO2911 - 10.1.15.1 LAN

where 10.x.x.x is a corporate LAN Beach private network, y.y.y.y is a public ip address assigned to the external interface of the ASA and the z.z.z.z is the public IP address of the ISP router.

I have forwarded ports 500, 4500 and ESP on the ISP router for 10.1.17.2. The 2911 config attached below, what I can't understand is what peer IP address to configure on the SAA, because if I use z.z.z.z it will be a cause of incompatibility of identity 2911 identifies himself as 10.1.17.2...

  • VPN site to Site with NAT and Port forwarding on a 871

    Hello

Could someone please look at the config 871 router attached and tell me where I'm wrong!

VPNs all work, work, BUT anyone trying to connect to a port that is sent through the VPN port forwarding fails.

In the config attached Port 3389 (RDP) is sent to an internal server, if you connect to the external interface Internet connection is made and it works well, but if someone tries to connect to the IP address internal to that same server through VPN, it does not.

We've added commands to stop working on the lines VPN NAT, but these do not seem to work.

    What Miss me?

Thank you in advance and I will adjudicate all useful responses.

It is a common problem. Yes you added controls to prevent NAT to work above the tunnel, but your static nat port to port 3389 takes precedence over the generic nat command, and there not all orders top to prevent it is nat would be above the tunnel.

I wrote an example configuration for this some time, see here for more details:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk583/TK372/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080094634.shtml

If all goes well, he explains everything. Note that it is for a general order static host, not a static port that you have, but the concept is exactly the same. Just add a statement roadmap on the end of your static command of the port, and this route map - will reference an ACL that denies are used when going up above the tunnel.

  • VPN and port forwarding problem

    Hello

    I configured a VPN (IPSec) between 2 sites on Cisco 881 - K9.

The server 'A', which the 192.168.0.X address must be accessible on port 80, 8080 and 90 of the public network.

I have configured the ports of shipment with the command:

IP nat inside source static TCP 192.168.0.X 90 interface fastethernet 4 90

IP nat inside source static TCP 192.168.0.X 80 4 80 fastethernet interface

IP nat inside source static TCP 8080 interface fastethernet 4 8080 192.168.0.X

The server is accessible from the outside, the site in which it is located.

But there is a problem with the second site:

    • I ping the server with its local address 192.168.0.X
    • But when I try to open a Web page that is using port 80 or 8080 or 90, the server appears inaccessible

It seems that the problem is due to the translation of port because when I delete the configuration of port forwarding is no problem over on the second site.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello

    You need conditional NAT.
When you want to Port Forwarding to work just for a part of traffic, e.g. when access to the server from the Internet
but not for traffic entering via VPN, you can add a roadmap to the end.

    Thus,.
IP nat inside source static TCP 192.168.0.X PUBLIC_IP 4 xx xx map route VPN

The road map tells when it is NAT that will to spend.
It will always happen, but when traffic is coming from the VPN.

Now... the problem is that you can add a roadmap, when you have a rule of Port forwarding to an IP address (and not an interface).

Anyway, give it a try and let us know.

    Federico.
