  A DVR will not affect the operation of the Apple TV, I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, can you specify.

• SPA112 & OSD CallerID and VIP722

  I have a new SPA112 purchased to improve VoIP FAX.  The unit works analog phone lines and great for fax and for the voice of analog phones.

  The ATA is deprived of a distribution end FREEPBX installation and I have after getting it works well, has recently added a source for research of the Cnam complete the CallerID displays information.

  An output for CallerID is a dish DVR VIP722 receiver.  The handsets also connected to outputs analog 1 also specifically shows callerID information... Apparently, callerID long strings (or display formats poorly mounted) sent to the TV DVR for OSD (on screen display) of the SPA112 cause the TV in camera.  The TV must be hard-reset to clear the blockage.  It takes about 5 minutes each time.

  The blocking source was traced to the Cisco ATA's SPA112.  I substituted a Grandstream HT702 ATA, which has a much shorter and less comprehensive set of configuration settings and note the blocking and absent TV OSD problems are solved.  The problem is that the fax has probably suffered damage...

  Someone else noticed this problem and if so, what are the parameters to the Cisco ATA to analyze and/or shorten or better format CallerID information sent to the FXS port to eliminate the problems with the OSD to a dish DVR Receiver?

  BTW, my Cisco ATA has the latest firmware upgrade... I use OpenCNAM for callerID name search. Also, it seems to work very well in my PBX to their database of research...

  Unfortunately, you did not specify what is wrong with CallerID (e.g. character length or other can cause a blockage of the dish DVR Receiver). Is it not possible to give you a valuable advice.

  Yes, that might work. Although at this stage, it would be just as easy to create for EVN in the actor, but store them in the FGV, to minimize how much you need to rearchitect. Then, you don't need to send a message to retrieve them, simply create them. Given that the actor has the life and runs constantly (even if he sleeps most of the time so not to consume any time of treatment), references will continue to be valid.

  I'm trying to track down a bug in my code without success (so far). I tried to check if my problem is caused by a 'feature' in LabVIEW, while I continue to tear (whats left of) my hair...

  Here's what I do:

  • I create my "lines of communication" in my toplevel vi. This is nameless. My toplevel vi is a queue-based state machine. I use OO by reference. The place where I kept my reference is object > DVR > Cluster > queue reference.
  • With the help of the toplevel.vi I run a user interface. I do this using static reference VI > SetVal passes the value of the object/DVR to the UI, then > Run (wait til done wrong) to start the user interface.
  • And here's the problem: when put an element in the queue of the toplevel state machine using the user interface, it is not received by the toplevel state machine.
  • Here's what I looked at in an attempt to find out what the problem
  • • The element is placed in the queue without error
    • The references are valid
    • This I noticed is that when I probed the hexadecimal numbers of reference are different - my understanding created a new reference queue by name would give two different references to the same queue in memory (and so they must be closed). But in my case I just create a reference to the queue, put it in my DVR and remove necessary... so, what are the different values?
    • I already used this same architecture in this project, but in this case I did not have references to queue on the DVR - instead I opened new references by name whenever I shared between modules. It worked well... but I'd rather do not restrucutre my code if I can avoid it!

  I have it... I produced a second reference to queue and too wrote the original - this update the DVR, but not the queue of State machine. Rookie mistake - doh!

• Computer will not receive Comcast Digital adapter (DTA) receiving TV signal

  Until recently I had used a tuner for my computer (and Media Center of course) to access all cable channels I ordered via Comcast. In other words, until Comcast made the switch to digital, which means I need a decoder adapter digital transport (DTA). After the switch, and before that I'm the DTA, I was able to receive broadcast TV channels, but not basic cable (for evidence, I was able to record a show on a channel on my DVR).

  I got one of the Commission yesterday and followed the instructions to a T. Among these non-tamponnage my cable output directly from the computer and to the contrary put through the DTA, then a coaxial cable linking DTA to the computer. Unfortunately, Media Center told me that I had no signal TV at all (and therefore that I couldn't even check how worked the DTA). Comcast technicians told me that the box has been activated and it worked, so the problem is probably the communication between the Commission and my PC. The PC is not received the signal from the DTA, and I have no idea why.

  Some features:

  Windows XP 2002 OS, running on PC Gateway GM5066E, Media Center came with the machine (purchased in 2006/2007 or most), built in TV tuner, I have all the equipment/remotes...just IR no TV signal

  According to my instructions, the IR blaster NOT plug on the back of the DTA.
  The only thing that plugged into the back of the DTA is the COAXIAL cable from the wall and
  the power adapter cable. and you do NOT use the cable/IR extension which has been
  provided with the DTA. See point #5.
  You may need to buy a cable blaster if it did not come with the gateway.

• E4200/DirecTV receiver network question

  Hello.

  I have a network problem I can't solve.

  My DirecTV HD DVR (HR21-700) receiver shows work connecting to my network and internet. However, the port services STB (27161-27192 range) does not connect via my router (linksys E4200), automatically or manually (error code 301 Dtv).  By connecting the receiver directly to a modem, STB services is connected as it should.  I also have an XB360 (LAN), reader BluRay (LAN), two PC & bridge wifi connected with absolutely no problem.  Each manually configured with a static IP address and the appropriate ports forwarded.

  I'm STUMPED and FRUSTRATED to say the least...  I need help!

  Other than the manual configuration of these devices, my knowledge of networking is not very wide... Are there settings or configurations that I can be on?

  UPnP is enabled, NAT is enabled and all the firewall is turned off.  What else could be missing?

  Linksys technical support wanted to send me to Supportrix to fix that... it was not interested in paying $70 $, so I did a reset to factory of the router.

  Low and behold, everything solved.  Manually reconfigured all my gear and I'm good to go.

• DVR is no longer able to send an email

  I have a WRT54G connected to a modem, DSL, 660R Zytel.  Before my deliverance, the modem has been configured as a router and my DVR CCTV has managed to send me an email.  I've reconfigured the modem to be a bridge with the installer in the port forwarding WRT54G, I did this, so I was able to connect remotely to my DVR to view my cameras.  Once I did, I lost the ability to receive emails from the DVR.

  I checked that e-mail can still be sent in reconfiguring the modem as a router.  So I'm sure there is a setting I am missing in the router that has disabled e-mail.

  I would like any ideas you may have on this subject.

  You are able to view your DVR of remoteness? What is the IP address on your tab router status.

  You can try to transfer SMTP and POP port on your router as well and then check out.

• HP Pavilion p6740f - DVI to HDMI Cable Receiver for projector?

  I have a HP Pavilion p6740f tower base.  Tonight, I'm moving it the office upstairs in the press downstairs room.  The press room is set up with all the components, xbox360, bluray, dvr, etc. on the front of the room and the projector mounted on the ceiling, at the back of the room.  I intend to put my turn to HP Pavilion p6740f with other components on the front of the room.

  I intend using the build in Windows Media Center on my PC (Windows 7) via my xbox 360.  However, my PC is not an HDMI output.  It has a DVI output.

  My question: IF I PLUG a DVI HDMI CABLE FROM MY PC HP Pavilion p6740f, TOWARD THE RECEIVER 591 A DENON AVR, WHICH PUSHES HDMI OUT OF MY OPTOMA HD25 LV PROJECTOR, will BE THE SIGNAL BEING INTERPRETER CORRECTLY, or WILL I NEED TO BUY YEAR HDMI CARD for MY PC TO USE instead?

  Be 740 p / i, or 1080 p / i, could I care, as long as it isn't 480 I / p.

  I tried to set up a mail rule, but mail only allows me to reply to the sender. It gives me the opportunity to call a script but I can't make an Apple script in Automator. Whatever I do in here, Mail can not see it.

If I get an email from [email protected] then I want to admin@mydomain to receive an e-mail to tell him that he is loved by someone and I want all this to happen automatically.

  You can watch it too deeply. You won't answer at all – looks like you want to open a new message coming out when a new coming. It is not serious what who is, or who he came (with the exception of yourself).

  It is written as a mail rule, so add it to your ~/Library/Application Scripts/com.apple.mail directory, and then configuration a rule in Mail.app to run this script for incoming mail.
