  If the BIOS doesn't contain options to activate the plash screen Toshiba ON / OFF then it is not possible to disable the Toshiba start screen.

  I put t know what you mean by + screen is simply ugly + but my Toshiba home screen appears for a sec and its ok.

• Installed a new program. Cannot connect past welcome screen. Black screen of death. Connected with Safe Mode.

  After you install the program for my Logitech Quickcam 4000 computer asked me to restart. When I did I went to the login screen I have entered my password, but the only thing that's happened is he went to the 'Welcome' screen and the circle just kept spinning. I left it like that for a while and it never connected. After that, I tried to do a system restore and suggested the recommended restore point.   ·        What are the tests you're talking about?

  Method 1:

  I suggest to try the last known good configuration and check if you're able to connect normally to the desktop. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  a. restart and keep tapping F8 until you reach the start menu.

  b. Select last known good configuration and press ENTER.

  c. check to see if you are able to boot to the desktop.

  Method 2:

  As you mentioned in your post that you are able to start in safe mode, I suggest to disable the Logitech Quickcam 4000 in the Device Manager and check if the problem is resolved. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  a. after the start in safe mode, click Start menu and type device manager in the search box of start and press ENTER.

  b. right-click on the driver is installed on the system and click on disable.

  c. now checks to see if you are able to the system.

  Method 3:

  I suggest you remove the Logitech Quickcam 4000 folder which is present in the programs on the system folder and check if you're able to boot the system.

  a. click on Start menu and click computer.

  b. click on C: / drive and click programs.

  c. find the folder and right-click on it to remove it from the system.

  I am in a trial after effects CC. As a total newbie, I would find the Welcome screen a useful point of reference when I open the program. I can't locate it. -It is not available in respect of the aid. Can someone tell me how to enable the Welcome screen in after effects CC?

  AFAIK Windows 10 is still undergoing testing so, Toshiba has not begun official support of Windows 10. Windows 10 drivers are not available for download.
  The same situation was noticeable in a few years before Win8 was offered on the market.

• Cannot get past Boot Screen manufacturer

  I can't get my g62-149wm to go beyond the HP screen. I tried to hit escape to go into the boot options and f10 to enter the BIOS but nothing happens. It is blocked here. Anyone have any ideas?

  Do like me. I had to buy a SATA docking station, and then start on a live usb Sabayon linux (without the internal hdd is present) and back up all the data on my external hard drive. After the backup, I just formatted the internal hard drive and recovery DVDs to restore factory settings.

  You can also do a new installation or anything else you want because the laptop must be initiated with the hard drive in it. I don't have any other PC to make a back up so had to use this usb flash drive or a live cd (needs all flash usb plugged) with linux on it.

  Its compatible Intel High Definition Audio 1.0.
