  They must be and have been for the most part. That said, some have lost personal data. I strongly suggest that you not only back up everything first, but always backup. Many things can cause loss of data such as a hard disk failure. Do not drive a car with no spare tire.

  Thank you. I have gone through articles. They were somewhat useful.  It seems that the trash does not accept the delete, but I can work around it by removing permanently without going through the trash using the click, move, delete approach.

  I tried a few different things, but ended up talking to a Microsoft guy named Mathew. He was extremely helpful and patient, and after the download of many updates (67), the system seems to work very well. I don't know what the cause was but will present Bravo to Mathew to support tech Surface for its helpfulness and professionalism.

  I see that you are having problems with the sounds on your notifications. I have a few things to check.

  Although it may seem simplistic, it's often the volume being turned down or the phone is cut. Check the items listed in this article:

  If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch speaker

  Second, restart your iPhone and the test. If it still does not work, try a reboot of the force.

  2. what operating system is installed on your computer?

  3. when the documents & photos recording on your computer?

  There is no Microsoft recovery tool to recover the lost data. However, you can use your favorite search engine and download any third-party data recovery software.

  Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  The idea of restoring back to factory conditions is completely clear what is already on the hard drive and replace it with a blank copy of the original image of the operating system.

  Once you begin to write the files too much the chances of recovery are greatly reduced. The chances of you being able to recover these files are very low. If they were stored on a separate partition, you could try to recover that partition with the help of specialized software. However, in this case, the partition is the one with the operating system on which it is difficult.

  To be honest, you need specialized help and who, unfortunately, costs a lot of money. In this case the hard disk must be removed from the PC and dismantled or placed in another machine where you could try sophisticated recovery software retrieves files. If these files will be recovered are another matter.

  Since Windows XP, in the last several versions of Windows, there are many changes for the names and locations of some Windows system folders .

  To ensure compatibility with older programs, these older cases have been replaced by The junction Points. A junction Point is designed to redirect programs more alumni who are hard coded to look for the former name of folder for the new file name and the location in Windows.

  An example is the C:\Documents and Settings folder. The new name and the location of this folder is C:\Users. In Windows 8, you will see a folder C:\Documents and Settings , but it should be noted that this record contains a shortcut arrow on the folder icon. He identifies it as a junction.
