  Hi, this is the correct information. You cannot read the FPGA of DIP-switch status. The only thing you could do is to use the function of Reading Switch.vi located under the range of functions-> real-> utilities RT time

  The controller never worked properly?  Using FTP, look at the OR-RT/STARTUP folder (type ftp://x.x.x.x/ni-rt/startup in Internet Explorer, where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the controller).  What is there?  If you connect a monitor to it, something appears?  If so, what is on the screen?

  Your User1 light is constantly on.  The LED flashing sequence is documented in the manual on page B1.  Always on is not one of the choices.  When you power cycle the chassis, the controller starts with the LED User1, or it will Flash and then stay on?
  We can start from scratch by uninstalling the software on the controller and put it back.  To uninstall it, manually put the controller in safe MODE (switch S2 - see the PXI - 8140RT manual series pp. 2 - 6 and B-2 for more details).  Right now, starting with S2 switched uninstalls the software.  Switch to normal and then reconfigure the controller.

  I bought my computer in Australia. A model Toshiba A200 WOO, 2.2 GHz, 2 GB Ram and Core Duo and for the last few months, I noticed the laptop gets very hot. At some point, I put on low power when it's plugged in because it overheating randomly and just stops.

  But even at low power, the temperature will be about 85 degrees. Now, as I it comes have type that my hands are very hot to rest on the laptop and the touchpad is is as a heating unit. The fan never sleeps and I use the fan speed to monitor the temperature and the temperature is currently on Core 0 93 and 94 degrees on Core 2 and Im only running Mozilla Firefox, Notepad, Speedfan, and Windows Media Player.

  I read that the radiator is probably dust in there but my warranty is valid till if I really don't want to invalidate opening upward... I'M not sure if that is the cause, or is this something else. I always keep my own machine and its always in my room or in its coverage I don't see how he could collect the dust so. When I start a game after about 10 minutes, it gets really hot and turns off. When I feel the underside it literally burns and stickers are peeling.

• 7 d Mark II with a teleconverter 1.4 x - WOO HOO!

  So, just a few weeks ago, I found myself in an interesting position - let me explain.

  I had a 60 d that I loved for the past 3 years.  But... I have a 100-400 f4 - 5.6 L that I also like.  BUT I'm also a 1.4 x teleconverter I sometimes still add the 100-400, for extra reach.  BUT, when I bolt on it, I lose autofocus-* beep! *  I do mostly photography of wildlife, particularly birds, and autofocus makes my life much easier.  I did my homework and I understand (as a physicist) what are the limits, but it is a HUGE thorn in my side.

  So, back to my "interesting position -" my best friend/cousin was a rebel, he did a great job with it, because he discovered photography about two years ago.  He was ready to upgreade, and I was able to upgrade, even thought I have didn't need of (at least, I don't think I need to).  So, as that action (selfish), I decided I upgrade and sell my cousin my 60 d for a symbolic price.  I did my research and decided that my next device would be a 7 d Mark II.  So, we moved to this topic - he ended up with a MUCH better device for a symbolic price, and I went on the 'learning curve' that I love so much.

  So, to shorten this (already too long) story a bit, I JUST found out that the 7 D Mark II actually allows the 1.4 X teleconvertor actually AUTOFOCUS with the 100-400! OK, so you must be in the 'focal point' or 'point central + 4 points that surround' modes, I don't care.  This allows me to do what I have to do, WITH autofocus.

• CS6 on Windows 7, when I try and send my project Adobe Link, then I still repeatedly get the error message "still has stopped working, windows closes the program.  I get the same error message when I try and open again on its own.  Help Woo
