• No sound from radio Sansa Express

  I was in the middle of listening to the radio on a Sansa Express 1 GB player and when I tried to change to another game before all of a sudden there was no noise coming from the drive.  I went to the music and who played well.

  Has anyone else encountered this problem before?  How can I fix this without having to send it back to the company?

  Another thing: the big square button does not respond well to the presses when the player is in radio mode.  Not sure if this is related to the problem of radio itself.

  I am comtemplating the upgrade on the other side. The card lists a radio tuner, but the only way that the phone could access radio is via subscription AT & T Radio. The phone has a radio tuner, but I find no where to find. Help, please.

  I used the FM tuner for about ten minutes, try yesterday and I come on the phone with AT & T to double control without subscription started and the representative confirmed that he was not.

  The app is quite primitive for FM radio, but the reception was great (I was out). I wish they had a separate application for the tuner. It is too easy to hit one of the choices which requires a subscription.

  The tuner works only with wired headphones. I think the tuner uses headphones as antenna wires. This could be why the tuner does not work in the store, no support for any output unless a wired headset.

  You can check on your line to a subscription in the AT & T system by going to att.con/db. Enter your phone number and they send you an SMS with a verification code to enter into your browser and you can see and manage all subscriptions on this line.

  In addition, if you get the phone into an AT & T corporate store or best Buy you can exchange the phone within the first 30 days. I had to do it once and it worked great for me on. (Check the terms of the present).

• Sansa Updater for Sansa Express - can we trust?

  Last October, I found myself "bricking" my Sansa Express while trying to update its firmware.  Fortunately I got it back working, but it took several hours of poring over forums and trying different things.  Today, while a few new songs to the Sync feature, a window appears telling me that there is an update available.  Can I trust him and how do I know what are the potential benefits of the update?

  It is very possible that you already have the latest version, see how the latest updated for this model is 4 years old now. If you are less than a year ago, you have already installed this version. Check f/w on your Player version to confirm.

• Sansa express 2GB just died

  I recently bought 2 GB Sansa Express. After transferring files MP3 player today stopped working.

  When on just get SanDisk on screen then turns off almost immediately.

  Tried hard reset, did not work. Connecting to the pc, the player now shows as storage device.

  Following further discussions, I guess it's in MSC mode, but I can't do anything to change it.

  When you run Sansa updater, the message appears "no updateable sansa product has been recognized.

  I found the solution to my problem!  To get any MP3 player to work as a device MTP of Windows XP, you MUST install Windows Media Player 10 before the update for Windows Media Player 11.  If you do not, MTP Protocol will not install and the MTP Protocol is not available as a separate download.

• MicroSD - "Drive is not formatted" after taking on sansa express

  Here's my problem.

  I have a kingston 1gig microSD card.

  I use a card reader and add songs to the card.

  I insert the card into the sansa express. Sansa reads the card very well, the songs are there.

  But when I remove the microSD card and plug my card to the reader to add more songs it says that "the drive is not formatted" and I need to format it in until I can use it!

  I found the problem.

  It was the * beep * kingston brand.

  Looks like sansa dislikes the kingstons.

  I bought a transcend 4 GB sdhc micro, and the problem disappeared.

  In fact, when I insert the chip in the sansa and plug the sansa I also get a drive for the micro sd card (it didn't happen with the kingston), in other words this thing doubles as a sdhc reader.

  But I had to format the chip with my other player sdhc first.

  Are you sure that's not on BREAK? By pressing THE key (12:00) while playing the radio acts as a MUTE. It is easy to inadventently and this affects involuntarily. Try to press it again and see if your sound radio returns.
