MicroSD - "Drive is not formatted" after taking on sansa express

Here's my problem.

I have a kingston 1gig microSD card.

I use a card reader and add songs to the card.

I insert the card into the sansa express. Sansa reads the card very well, the songs are there.

But when I remove the microSD card and plug my card to the reader to add more songs it says that "the drive is not formatted" and I need to format it in until I can use it!

http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/1629/formez4.jpg

This means that I have to erase everything that card and readd all the songs.

The sansa express did something to the microSD card. It makes it unreadable when I connect it to my pc?

Any fix for that?

I found the problem.

It was the * beep * kingston brand.

Looks like sansa dislikes the kingstons.

I bought a transcend 4 GB sdhc micro, and the problem disappeared.

In fact, when I insert the chip in the sansa and plug the sansa I also get a drive for the micro sd card (it didn't happen with the kingston), in other words this thing doubles as a sdhc reader.

But I had to format the chip with my other player sdhc first.

Thank you for your response.  I can't find somewhere - it now despite a lot of research - I read on a very simple solution to this problem which is (was) affecting hundreds of users HP.  In essence, the solution said that the DVD drive has in fact been recognized [as evidenced by his appearance in the BIOS] but has been "identified" and how to fix this problem was to go into the DEVICE MANAGER and delete the incorrect identification reference - then restart the computer and Windows 10 would correctly identify the DVD player and correctly in the DEVICE MANAGER list.  I decided to try this simple fix before one of the more complex solutions that were offered.  The simple solutioon worked!

  • External hard drive (Seagate) not readable after the ejection using Thunderbolt cable

Not sure where this question fits as this seems to be a Thunderbolt cable problem but here goes...

I have 4 TB Seagate Backup Plus external drives for archiving with two drives - backup A and B backup - and two interfaces, a basis of love at first sight and a standard basis of USB3.

Using the basis of love at first sight that I backed up to 1.5 TB of data on a Mac logged to A disk and ejected from backup format. When I reassembled A backup to verify the data Finder says the drive is not a recognizable car and I had to reformat. I thought that I must have crashed head or something like the disc was still running when I pulled it off the base of love at first sight. When I got tired to reformat the drive in disk utility only 500 GB of the 4TB were available for formatting, so I thought that I've certainly got to have damaged it.

Then I saved my 1.5 TB of data to a second drive Seagate Backup Plus (backup B) but when I eject this drive (this time I waited to stop and pulled the power over the base before you remove the disk) and then lift the drive that the same error came in the Finder. Suspecting it was the Thunderbolt interface I swapped backup to the base of the USB3 B and all the data is there! I checked A backup and even if she had to be reformatted this time all the 4 TB of capacity was available.

I also have a Rugged Lacie 2 TB drive with a Firewire interface and it seems to work just fine so maybe the Thunderbolt Apple cable or Seagate sight base. I don't have a second Thunderbolt cable to test with at the moment.

As a secondary issue readers are not run down after eject either. The heads are parked, but readers continue so I have to pull the power and wait that it happen down before I can remove basic USB3 disks or love at first sight. This problem, even if it's embarrassing, I can live with. In the foreseeable future I'll use the basis of the USB3.

Everyone knows about this problem before? It sounds really weird.

I can only give you my opinion of WD boxes and I'm afraid that's not good. My experience with WD boxes have always been bad. My suggestion is to try another TB cable and see if that's it, if not then try to connect another device to your iMac Thunderbolt and test to see if it is the iMac, which I doubt it is. If this isn't the cable or the iMac, then you know that it's the condom. If the disks are recoverable from the speaker, remove them and get a TB of high-quality speaker. My vote goes to OWC (www.macworld.com) pregnant Thunderbolt.

    Hello

Have you tried to format your USB key, but instead to use NTFS you use FAT 32?

    Click on windows start orb
type cmd and do a right click and select run as administrator
    type diskpart
    disc type list
Select the drive that is your USB. For example, if your USB is no disc select 2 then type 2
    clean type
    type create partition primary
Type format fs = fat32 quick
    Type exit

Now see if it finally formatted your USB Flash drive

  • Audio driver does not work after reinstalling XP on Tecra M9

    Hello

After much fighting, I gave up. It's imposible to get my sound card upward operation on my TECRA M9 PTM91E, after I decided to renounce a cleaning by formatting the drive completely. My procedure is as follows:

    1 WINDOWS XP SP2 installed
    2. downloaded all drivers on another pc. Downloads of official pilot of toshiba site: http://es.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=ES
    3. install drivers in the correct order, following the instructions: http://es.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/tracker.jsp?file=http%3a%2f%2fsupport.toshiba-tro.de%2ftedd-files2%2f0%2finstall-20070918164527.zip

5 messed around trying the older drivers of other laptop TECRA M Series, luck is.
    6. has decided to map its just might not be a Realtek and tried other models on the download page: Sigma and Analog Devices Inc. tried those but come back an alert of recognition.

Someone had this problem as well? My best guess is that it's just maybe a problem with the version of the driver...

    Hi guys

I think I have an answer to your problems small software ;)

The Tecra M9 certainly supports the ALC262 Realtek High Definition Audio.
Compatible audio driver can be downloaded from the Web from Toshiba site or the Web to Realtek site.

    OK now to the solution

    The solution is very simple.
You must first install the two XP patches; KB888111 and KB835221
This must be done before installing the audio driver.

Usually, this should solve your problem

It would be appreciated if someone could help me or come to any solution as to how I can get 95 running if

    Hi Lewiscolli,

Windows 95 (and their related components) will rise to a status not supported. After this date, Microsoft no longer provides incident support options or security updates. Microsoft does not offer an agreement of support for these products.

If you have always wanted to install Windows 95 on Windows XP, you can format the disk on which you want to install the new operating system (OS) with the help of the Windows XP disc. You can format the drive in FAT instead of NTFS format, then you can install the Windows 95 operating system using the disc.

You can follow the below mentioned article for more information:
