Satelite L305D-S5934 recovery disk error

I turned on my computer this afternoon and faces several problems:

Failed to start and the windows logo or a white screen stayed

I thought about the whole fitness thing and decided with this action once I turned on the labtop several times and the same results that popped up.
I inserted the recovery disc in and booted the laptop. I looked at the menu of BIOS without any problem and proceeded to the CD/DVD option. So instead of go the menu of recovery disc, he said was "Windows is loading files" and whenever I pressed a key on the keyboard, the signal started. After that disc's menu recevery never came and he brought me to the boot logo (or sometimes don't same. not just a black screen with a mouse)

I was wondering if there is a reason for this and if there is a solution. My brother told me that my hard drive crashed, but I don't really understand this problem.

Then after several attempts, an error appeared: 'F3-F000-0001' then a 'ok' button to close. What is this error?

It looks like a hard disk malfunction, you can find someone else to check?

    Hello!

First of all, you should check the user manual. There you can find all the details on how to recover a Toshiba laptop.

In any case, if your laptop came without recovery disk you can create one using the Toshiba recovery disc creator. That's why you need one or two DVDs and then you have factory on a DVD.
If you created the recovery disk, you can boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. Windows will be reinstalled, and you get back to factory settings.

But you can also recovery a Toshiba laptop without recovery disk. So go to the F8 advanced boot menu and choose fix my computer. Now, you can choose the Toshiba Recovery option and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you have any other questions, you can search a bit in the forum. You will find a sufficient number of threads on the recovery procedure.
In addition, you must check this document:

Have you tried to format the HARD disk until you try to use the recovery disk?
Sometimes, I read in the forum that this may solve the problems with the recovery disk and so you can take the Windows XP disc or another tool that is able to format the drive.

But after that, you have the Toshiba recovery disc. You are not able to use the HARD drive recovery feature.

  • Recovery disk error message? Try reformatting SL400 for sale

    Hello

I have a SL400 I want to reformat and sell. He has XP Pro sp3 installed top of the plant. Recovery disks, he came up with that are for Vista professional.

There are 3 disks for recovery, it is labeled start recovery, the next is the disc of the operating system (Vista professional), and the third is the drivers.

When I boot the disk 1, it launches the recovery software. Then it tells me to put the recovery disk 1 in drive D:, then click Yes. The disk is already there. When I click Yes, a dialogue window tells me it's the wrong disc.

    How to operate?

    Thank you

    Scott

I called technical support from Lenovo and here is the solution for this problem, if anyone finds this research for this problem:

    1. Reboot and press F1 to enter BIOS
    2. In the BIOS, go to the Configuration tab and navigate to the ATA (SATA)
    3. Change the compatibility mode
    4. Reboot with recovery disk 1 in the drive
    5. Now, when he asks you to disk 1, put in disc 2 and click OK
    6. It should start the formatting

  • Failed to create the recovery disk - error: differences between the following files

Hello, I am using the recovery disc option, but during the creation of the third disc, I get this error repeatedly (I tried to create 4 + times now, using the same type of discs that worked well with the first 2 discs). The full error message is:

"differences between the following files. "Source path: path:F\ZZImg\09753XSP2.swm E\HDDrecovery\SWImg\0975XSP2.swm target (error code: 02016F-3 c-00000000)"

How to solve this? I want to reformat my laptop, and the thought that it would be better to create these discs first. It is recommended to have the front discs I try to reformat? This error would prevent me to use the option 'restore factory settings' which is present by pressing the 0 key during the loading screen?

(I'm not very technically capable, so I am greatly worried something bad).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Have you tried using different disks from different manufacturers?
To do this. I had similar problem and it was not entirely compatible disc-related.
I use TDK R CD or DVD. They work great!

  • Satellite C650 - failed to create the recovery disk - error 020150-20-00000000 code

I hope this is the right place to post this, but I think I have the same problem with my Satellite C650. He keeps wasting DVDs by stopping and saying that it cannot read the file E:\ZZlmg\11544XSP.swm and gives an error code 020150-20-00000000. The file is located on the DVD. I use Verbatim DVD - R The Recovery Media Creator is trying to write the first disc and is at the point of check data. Can you think of another explanation for this error other than the cheap DVD option? Thank you

    Hello

    There are two explanations;
Either the CD/DVD drive firmware is not up to date and contains no information about the drives used discs (CD or DVD) is not fully compatible.
As you know this is happening and is not uncommon.

So first check if a firmware update is available for your CD/DVD drive.
The European driver of Toshiba page is the right place to look for that.
More details you will find in detail if the firmware has been published for your ODD.

If there is no update firmware of your CD/DVD drive, then you should test other discs

  • Satellite L500-12F - error creating Toshiba Recovery disk

Hello. New user on the forum and the new owner of a Toshiba.

I am trying to create the 4 recovery disc for my Toshiba satellite L500-12th. Disks 1, 2 & 4 created with success, but 3 disk failed twice. The message I received was on the screen: cannot read the following file: F:backslash ZZImg backslash 09753xsp6.swm error Code: 020150-20-00000000

  • Installation disk - error 0xc00000e9 Startup Repair recovery image

My problem is simple. I wanted to restore to factory settings so I followed a 'how to' guide.
I reboot and was pressed F8 to open the menu where the option "fix my pc. I select, a bar starts to fill and then it should open another menu with different catering options. But what really happens is that I get this error:

"Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device, such as a USB external drive when the appliance is used, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or the CD-ROM drive which is a failure. Make sure that all removable storage is properly connected, and then restart your computer.

If you continue to receive this error message, contact the manufacturer of the equipment.

    Status: Oxc00000e9

"Info: an unexpected i/o error has occurred."

I can´t understand the error so I'll contact the manufacturer. Thx for the help.

If you are not able to run HARD drive recovery, the problem might be related to HARD disk problems.
If would like to know if its possible to retrieve the laptop using the recovery disk.
This disk should be created using recovery Toshiba disc creator software pre-installed on the notebook normally this should be done on the first day of purchase

However, if the laptop's warranty covered, get in touch with service to solve hardware problems.

  • Satellite L30 recovery disk failed: could not do language input error

I have a L30-101, which has been slow to turn on. Another forum suggested going in ms config to ensure the maximum memory used to initialize and uncheck that some elements to start. When I rebooted, windows icons have been expanded and slightly blurry, so I undid the changes I did but windows is still not clear. The laptop works well otherwise, so I recorded that restore data, I needed and tried a system, but the computer can't find any restore points.

As a last resort, I tried the Toshiba product recovery disk which I had never used it before. He begins to read it ok, then asks for the choice of the English language. About 10 minutes later it stops with the error message "could not get a writing of the language of the INI file! Article: [Commom] key InstallCMD file D:\Setenv.ini.
When I hit OK to clear the message the Administrator page says could not initialize the raid class no RAID-continue normally.

When I restart the laptop it brings back me to my previous state with blurry icons, another way to work laptop and all my old data is still there.

I have since bought a new portable Satellite L450D that I write this, but I'm eager to try to lift my L30 and working again as a spare. I contacted Toshiba UK in case there was a problem with the recovery disk, but due to licensing issues they can only redirect me to the support of EU toshiba backup site to buy a new recovery disk. As I already have a recovery disk, I don't want to buy another for the same results. Does anyone have ideas on how I could get the recovery disk to load entirely and recover my laptop to its factory settings?

At first, I must say that you should back up all your important data to an external device like external HD or USB. When you use the recovery facilities disc all the partition is deleted.

I don't know why you cannot use livery recovery disk, but the only thing to do is to visit nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer and show the problem. If they can confirm recovery DVD is defective, I assume that you will get a new free of charge.
