  I downloaded and installed all the drivers from the LAN and WLAN drivers first.
  All the other drivers installed perfectly and their respective hardware works fine, but the WLAN Atheros driver that does not install the Setup program does not start and I tried all means known to me or I can find on the internet to install it.

  Hi guys. I have this problem.

  I bought this as a refurbished laptop, and I have a problem getting it to start. When turned on, it says welcome to Toshiba screen where you can press the function keys to access the configuration screens, then the screen goes black, makes a continuous beep sound and goes no further.   New to the forum, I had a search around so im hoping someone can help me.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 PSAGCA and trying to resize a partition my computer become unresponsive and since then I can not load Windows Vista. When the computer starts it comes up with the error "interrupted operation: insert the Recovery CD.

  So I used the restore CD that was with my program of partition but I get a different error message saying "Incorrect BIOS settings change video buffer size" which I cannot find in the BIOS and no help from their support.

  If im now doing a Toshiba Recovery and restore my laptop, but I can't get into recovery. Holding F8 during startup to show the boot advanced options, or not taking '0' as ive read its supposed to.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  A friend gave me a laptop to try and fix. It's a Toshiba Satellite 3000 - X 11.
  Sometimes, it works very well. Starts as usual.
