Satellite A-L50-1CU-BT cannot find other BT devices

Hello

Today, after months, it was the first time I tried to use bt to transfer files to a mobile phone: bt is active on the l50 and two different mobile phones (android and they are visible and can connect and transfer files an eachother).
But the L50 is discovery of devices in a loop "without end", without knowing the phones... and the phones are not the L50.

Filter packets Atheros bt is the last (and only) of toshiba.
Any idea?

Thank you
Marco

Are you sure that BT has been activated correctly?
Please check in:
Charm bar (win key + c) parameters change pc settings pc and devices Bluetooth BT/OFF switch

Before you do activate the option of BT in the settings of your device (smartphone).
Note: the use of Android smartphone, you must check the option that makes the smartphone visible to other devices.

In which case it won't work, I recommend to uninstall the Atheros BT filter driver package, then restart the system and install this package once more.
Please ensure that raw mode isn't enabled!

    Hey everybody,

I was running Windows vista professional for more than 2 years yesterday, I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled vista prof. (entirely new, different CD key). Everything works very well excenp for one thing - I had saved some of the programs and files on my external hardrive before formatting my laptop. Now, when I try to access these files I get the following msg-"cannot find the specified device, path, or file." You don't have permission to access them. ".
I am logged in as administrator.

Help, please. I reallly need the files.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Jihirshu,

    It looks like permissions.

Try this on one of the files on the disk to see if it allows you to copy the files.

1 right click on the file, then select Properties
    2. click on the Security tab
    3. click on change, in the name box, type "Everyone".
    4. in the boxes next to the permissions below, put 'Total control' for everyone
    5. click OK, and then close the dialog boxes
    6. try to copy the file that you just modified.

If the works above, you must change the permissions on all the files you want to copy.  Normally, you can just highlight all the and follow the steps above to change the permissions on all files at the same time.

I hope this helps if you find my answer was what you are looking for, please do not forget to click on the box "mark as answer" below!

  • My Satellite C850 - 1 2 cannot find the BT device

    Hello

I have blutooth switchen on my laptop but it can not find the device that's a speaker of bush. any ideas please?

I did not have this speaker and cannot test it with my machine but the important thing is that your speaker must be in visible mode and can be detected by your laptop. Only in this case, your speakers will be ready to be paired.

See s operating manuals and do not forget that your speakers can be detected by your laptop.
When you open the Bluetooth option in Win8, you will see that BT is active and your laptop is looking for and can also be discovered by other BT devices.

The laptop has been preloaded with Win 8.1 System.

Have you changed anything in the configuration of the system?
Did you remove any Toshiba Software in the past?

Please check twice if the driver of Toshiba (to Win 8.1) system has been installed correctly!

If you have changed the system that is to say to Win 7, be sure to what Toshiba has added economic package for WIn 7 is installed!

It is very important, because both applications from Toshiba are essential to perform the update of the BIOS Toshiba

  • Satellite L305D S5895: Win 7 cannot find the HARD drive or cannot format the HARD drive on a clean install

I have laptop Satellite L305D S5895 of the customer. It was delivered to me by the customer who tried to install Windows XP Pro, Vista and none would install.
He said he tried all the CD that he had finally dropped on it and delivered it to me installation.

When I got the score have been removed, so I tried to install Win 7 and when I do a custom install, I get an error indicating that the hard drive can not be formatted on disk 0 or it will give an error that no hard drives have been found.

I have reset the bios default and no matter what I do, it won't format or find the hard drive. I was going to upgrade the bios, but the only way I found to upgrade the bios is once windows is installed.

Everyone has ideas about this laptop so I can get a system installed. I checked the bios and there is no parameters for a sata, raid or IDE disk drive, so it seems that this version cannot be changed.

Thanks for anyone who can help you.

    Hello

First of all it is an American notebook series.
    [Satellite L305D-S5895 | http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2144776& rpn = PSLC0U & modelFilter = L305D-S5895 & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 1073768663]

The laptop supports a processor AMD and ATI chipset.
This means that the drivers SATA is part of the ATI graphics card driver.

You must include the first SATA driver in order to install the Windows operating system.
You could add the SATA driver for the Windows disk using software like nLite / vLite

  • Satellite A-L50-1CU - loading of dam.sys problems and nvinitx.dll

    Hello

During the last 20 days, not in relation to an update of nvidia driver, I find, each boot, the same 2 entries in the system log:

Could not load the driver of dam and the custom of the dynamic libraries are bein loaded for each application (that linked to nvinitx.dll)

I updated the nvidia drivers for the last rel., adaptation to the last official rel. of toshiba again the same mistakes. The dam.sys file is in the correct position, even for nvinitx.dll, McAfee active LiveSafe and update, no malware.

From the moment even the Grand viewer of image nor allows to use the horizontal arrow keys to move forward and backward in the pictures (but use them properly to others later).

Apparently no other signals of malfunctioning, if I have a (tiny) exclude delay in 'fill' or view the desktop icons just after the start.

    Any help welcome

Make sure that your Bluetooth device is "discoverable."
    The following Web site:

    offers you a document entitled:

  • Satellite A210 - 10 c PSAEGE: cannot find common module

I have this Toshiba laptop and recently I installed Windows Xp Pro SP3, but now I have some problems.
The biggest problem I have, is that some Fn keys do not work, such as light levels and enable/disable the touchpad.
I found the drivers for windows xp here:

    http://notebook.driversdown.com/ViewDownloadUrl.asp?ID=91653&brNum=3&show=0

But now I have another problem.
In order to install this driver I need to install the common module (correct me if I'm wrong).
The problem is that I can't find any common module for my Toshiba.

    Can someone help me please?

    Hello

You do not find the common Modules because the common modules Hasna t been released for this series of laptop.
Moreover, Toshiba driver page doesn't provide all the XP drivers for this series and this means that you will not be able to use all the keys FN under Win XP.

I have an A210 with Win XP too and not all FN keys work.

If you want you can try to install the common Modules released for other A210 series but I doubt that this application is compatible. In my case it didn't work.
