Satellite A10 stops after 40 minutes

A-10 Pro keeps closing after 40 minutes, power source is always the head of HQ, can anyone help?

Has been verified the following: -.
Virus
Management - never switch on stop
Cooling fan seems to agree

In my view, this question has nothing to do with the virus, but maybe with overheating.
How old is your laptop?
Have you ever cleaned cooling grids or cooling fans? Fan may be OK, but how it looks behind the grille. Perhaps there dust and traffic blocks the air properly.

    Hello

I think overheating is the problem. First of all, you can try is to clean the machine properly. I guess the CPU and graphics card works very intensive and produce a lot of heat. If the equipment cannot be cooled properly the laptop stops suddenly.

    Clean it up.

  • Satellite A300 stops after 5 minutes of use

    Hello

I recently had my laptop back on the Toshiba Warranty Service that my machine was not able to receive the juice when it is plugged in but it worked fine on battery!
They replaced the motherboard and taken the power cable and the machine seems to work well!

Now, I've noticed that when my computer is on and connected to the power supply, after about 5 minutes, or so it is cut!

When I turn on the machine, it passes through the jargon "your machine has not extinguished properly!
I also noticed that I'm not hearing any additional fan activity or feeling any flow of additional air that I used once to!

Anyone think this could be reduced to overheating?

The machine does not seem to suffer from this problem, so I'm just running on battery power.
I'm getting a bit fed up if I need to return once again!

    All your comments are welcome!

Hmm, that doesn't sound good and I recommend you to contact the responsible ASP as soon as possible.
To me, this looks like an overheating problem. If the temperature occurs at a critical level then the cell phone would power off automatically to prevent the equipment from damage.
You said that you do not hear the coolant running modules?
This could be a reason why the temperature would be higher and the laptop would be closed.

    Hello

Believe me; It's not easy to say exactly why the BSOD appears.
It usually happens because of a malfunction or severe software hardware fault.
Have you used the operating system of the image of Toshiba?
Message it says something about sysaudio.sys.
This file is a system audio WDM filter processes and it s a part of the Windows operating system. It controls the material such as the printer or the graphics card at a lower level.

Note: The virus uses these files as a camouflage. You should always use an anti virus application.

In addition, you suggested that the laptop stops after 5 min.
Well, this looks like an overheating problem. How did you use the laptop? You know that free space around the laptop is very important due to the circulation of air. Fans should also be free.

I you use Notepad in the right position and it happen, so I recommend asking for help Toshiba service partner. They should check the laptop.

The laptop turns off automatically without display of error messages?
This can be caused by an overheating problem!

How old is your laptop and you clean the cooling fans in the past?
If this isn't the case, I recommend you this doing.

To clean the fans, you can use the jet of compressed air that can be bought in most computer stores.
The problem is that dust and debris inside of the laptop prevents cooling modules works properly, and so the temperature increases to a higher level. This leads to the farm automatically from the bottom.

In my opinion, fans of cleaning might help with this problem.

    Hello

    What to say...

    Regarding the automatically close downs;
For me, it looks a bit like overheating. Maybe you should check if the temperature is not too high and check if the cooling modules are working properly and it can cool the laptop properly. Sometimes the dust inside the laptop could have a bad influence on cooling.

Regarding the system BIOS checksum bad - default configuration used:
Try to access the BIOS and set the default BIOS settings. Then save the changes and restart the laptop.

    Regarding the MS patch:
I found this Microsoft Knowledgebase document:
The STOP Error Messages troubleshooting 0x0000009F DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/246243

It is said that this problem occurs when drivers do not properly handle power state transition requests.
The error message most often occurs during one of the following actions:
    -Closing
-Suspension or out of standby mode
    -Suspension or out of hibernation

Check solution proposals in the document of Microsoft.
If this does not help, I guess it's a hardware problem and you will need to contact the ASP in your country.

    Good luck

  • Satellite A10 dies after the power LED blink

    Hello

I have a problem with the power supply of my Toshiba Satellite A10. Sometimes, after the computer sat for some time, I have a problem with the power. The "plugged power cable" - LED will start to blink and shortly after, the computer just dies.

It can also have the time to go into a lower energy state before he does. When it happened once, it will most likely happen also when I restart the computer, but after a much shorter time. WXP won't even have time to start. If I stop to select the source of start-up, the problem will occur anyway, this isn't the software. It should also be noticed that when the computer is not turned off, the 'smart power' - is on correctly.

I know that my battery is not very good. Completely loaded, the computer can run for maybe 3 minutes with only the battery. I know that I must have a battery connected, even if I use the power cable, but this occurs even when the mine problem. The battery would be pretty bad not even allow me to use the computer with a cable?

It should be added, that sometimes I can use the computer for long periods of time without this problem to happen. I also have a problem with the battery not being not properly in physical contact with the pins of the computer, but this isn't the problem here, because I have the same problem with the battery removed and me holding the battery in place.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

You description is very long and detailed and it of still not easy to say what's wrong.
Usually, the DC-In witness lights up green when DC is provided FRO the AC current. If the output voltage of the adapter is abnormal or if power outages, this indicator flashes orange.

So I think that is your AC adapter malfunctions or there is something wrong with the electronic power supply on the motherboard.

  • Re: Satellite A105 stops after 60 seconds (NOT a heat problem)

Satellite A105-s4344 stops after EXACTLY 60 seconds. The mobo was removed from bevels and all devices removed unnecessary (DVD, HDD, WiFI etc.). Swapped CPU and RAM with those well known. AC adapter / CC exchanged and battery by the well known. Does the same on the AC or DC inputs only.

I have not yet flashed the BIOS (at 60 seconds, that would be silly). But, I'm looking to replace or flashing with an EEPROM burner. Currently has V 2.0

I don't know what heat genration detection using this system, but it is a possible cause if it is one of the later generations (visit http://www.topbits.com/how-to-monitor-cpu-temperature.html if you don't know that I'm referring to).

Before reballing North and South of the bridge and flashing, I thought that I would get feedback from you folks. Just to cover all bases ;)

P.S. the first person to ask what OS I use will get an instant ticket to the bottom of my list of respect.

    > P.S. the first person to ask what OS I use will get an instant ticket to the bottom of my list of respect.
:) :) :) Best thing I've seen in this forum.

    Back to your problem.
I'm not a technician but this is just my opinion on all of this. The fact is that after your laptop on CPU switch in seconds only reaches very high temperatures. You can turn on your laptop and just enter the BIOS settings and the same should happen again.

I can't say for sure if it's 100% thermal or not question but what else can be responsible for decommissioning? CPU will be warm in just a few seconds. Significant change structure with temperature change and I can only imagine a contact will be interrupted.

On this forum, we have had many reports similar as when portable cold starts and works well, but after that little time is off without reason. Maybe I'm wrong, but to me it sounds like heat or deliver bad contacts. Let's see what other people have to say about it.

  • Re: Satellite A200-14F - after 10 minutes, as the battery is just 10% of 100%

    Hello

My question is simple. When I use my laptop computer and I use the battery power, the battery icon shows me after 10 minutes that the battery is just 10% of 100%. Does that mean that my battery is "dying"? Should I buy a new one?

    Thanks for help.

    Tomas Fric, Czech Republic

I'm afraid you are right and your battery loses capacity because it doesn t work properly.
Remove the battery and check the part number on the sticker. Use this number to order a new one.

  • Pavilion DV 6000 stops after 30 minutes or more

    Hello

    HP laptop Pavilion DV6000 DV6330ea

    Running Vista home premium

The machine stops after a while. Sometimes a blue screen appears, but I don't have the time to read before that the thing turns off by itself. At other times, there is a noise of slamming and all off immediately. He did this occasionally in the news, but now I have a chance if I get 1 race hrs. The fan runs constantly at high speed. It becomes warm to the touch around the upper-left corner of the keyboard. It of a common problem, is there a solution?

    Any help much appreciated.

My best guess for your problem is overheating issues. If you you use over a year and have no extended warranty, it's time to clean the vents, see this doc HP here it shows different models, however, it would be useful for you.

Laptop overheating not even if some strong performance running applications or everything at stake.
You use the preinstalled Toshiba system?

You should test the laptop with system preinstalled Toshiba and published by Toshiba display driver.
The driver can be downloaded from the European pilot of Toshiba page!

Remember that this driver is already installed, because this driver supports the GPU overheating protection. This keeps the temperature low and decrease the performance if the temperature rises.

This is necessary because the laptop cooling modules are smaller than the cooling modules in desktop computers.

  • Satellite C850 stops after 30 min after upgrading CPU

I C850 Satellite from Toshiba with processor Intel Celeron 1000 m and I bought the CPU Intel i3 2350 m and works, but after 30 min stops. The cooling temperature is ok why I put t now what's the problem here.

The BIOS is updated to the latest version. According to Toshiba, website of the CPU is supported for this model of laptop. I think something is wrong with the BIOS but I know how to sort it.

If someone now, anything please send me info but please in why easy.

    > According to Toshiba site the CPU is supported for this model of laptop.
Really? As much as I know updates don't are not supported:

Referring to this document, Toshiba support nor recommended to make changes on their mobile systems, since the basics in these mobile systems are not expandable as in a desktop system.

    3) works fine on normal mode when it is not supported

    Hello

I think you should test the memory modules.
The memtest software is OK, but not perfect. You know
Even though the memtest would not detect any errors, the problem of the ram is possible
Otherwise, it could be a motherboard problem too.

I had a problem in the past, my book of 8 years froze only if adapter was attached to only if the html files were executed.
Finally the mobo was replaced, and this fixed the problem.

What internal temperature? Maybe it's at a higher temperature?
Clean the vents with air... stream could help get better air circulation...
