  I just bought a laptop Satellite A100-332 as an upgrade of an old book. I seem to have real problems with the new laptop and the Orange/Wanadoo livebox. Here's the situation:

  As well the old laptop running a card PCMCIA Wifi 802 11 b/g and my desktop computer running a PCI Wifi card have no problem at all to connect to and use of the livebox. The livebox is running with WEP security enabled, as well as the built-in mac filter.
  With the Toshiba laptop, I see the Livebox in the list of available wireless connections, but whenever I try to connect to it, she has real problems. I checked all the basic things like 'is the correct WEP key' and 'it using the appropriate channel,' and of course 'is active wifi on the laptop.   I agree with the user above. The battery can be charged only up to 500 times, and after that, it must be replaced. I think it's the case now, I mean that everything works correctly on the AC adapter so I think that the battery must be the reason for this.
