  I have a Toshiba Satellite P300-1F0.

  I have a toshiba A100, Go 7600 Gpu, just bought there is two weeks and im very pleased with the quality and performance far :), just noticed one thing today, the room was turned off and the laptop turns off with the screen in open position, I leave it open normally when at home, I noticed that the screen flashes as fixed every 1 min in what appears to be an interval of time with or without AC connected, not a flash very bright but not easy to notice, but I'm sure the flash, so my question is should I worry about this?   Hmm have you tried to reinstall / recover the laptop to see if it helps to solve this problem?
  In my opinion you should try it because it could be a problem in the system.

  Otherwise if new system installation / restore does not help you, it could be a malfunction of the equipment.

  When to start the laptop, the screen is totally blank.
  When hand press to the middle part of the bottom of the frame of the screen (black plastic frame) the display looks fine, as long as I am pressing on it.
  When let pressing, the screen becomes funny,

  Also noticed, when top screen downstairs, appears blurry white screen.
  But the screen is OK as long as I pressed the plastic at the bottom of the screen frame.

  Any idea would be greatly appreciated, want to confirm which part is faulty, so I can avoid replacing the whole LCD.

• White screen when I turn on the Satellite M50

  I have intermittently just get a white screen when I turn on the computer. Usually, the problem is solved by turning off the computer and try again - but sometimes I get a white screen again.

  Toshiba Satellite M300 on 18 months old (using Windows 7). Display has had intermittent problems. Screen flashes to a white screen. Now if the lid is moved while he was working, "white" screen completely and returns to normal when returned to 'the sweet spot '!

  Theoretically, it could be a problem of connecting cable or internal problem display but you should test another monitor first. Just connect an external monitor to check the image here.

  If the external monitor works properly it s the LCD cable internal or visualize a malfunction. So, contact a service provider and allow technicians to check your laptop. They can fix this problem and order new parts. :)

  In my opinion, your settings on the laptop are right but please check your TV also. I put t know if your TV is a S-video port or you use a S-video adapter. Please check menu TV. Maybe it's for S-video option in the port.

  It's really hard to say what causes this problem, but I think that notebok technicians do a good job and they will be committed to repair your laptop as soon as possible. Maybe they ordered some new parts, but they are not available at this time
