Windows 7 and the HP Solution Center

I just installed Windows 7 to my HP Photosmart 3310 all-in-one.  Like others, I can't scan more that I can't open the HP Solution Center.  It says "no HP devices have been detected. It will be closed. "I tried unistalling the software and reinstalling, but I get the same message.  Suggestions?

Have you downloaded the driver Windows 7 from here and install it?

I have been regularly using scanning, copying and printing to my HP 8600 printer features 4/1. All of a sudden when I click on the printer icon only functions of the printer are listed. When I click on the HP Solutions Center (which I have not had to do was s/u w / a previous printer) the message says: HP Solution Center cannot run b/c your device installation is not complete. PLS, connect the cable usb or re - run the Setup program from the installation to a network installation CD. If this does not work...

I insert the CD, re-directed the s/u and nothing has changed. Please notify.

I see that you have had previous HP products, Katharine. I'm glad to know that you have the software installed for the 8600 with success now.

However, the center of Solution software you used with the previous units is more used to the 8600. The software installed for the 8600 should have placed an icon that resembles the printer with the name of the printer it labeling on your desktop. This icon opens the wizard of HP printer with options to control the printer.

    Good impression!

  • The printer and settings tabs in the HP Solution Center tool box, do all the windows.

Tabs tool box, in the HP Solution Center, and the printer settings do not appear in these windows.

I check to see if there is another way to access the settings of the printer before I ininstall and reinstall the printer and the HP software.

  • Why the HP Solution Center will not find the printer and then closing?

I reinstalled the HP Solution Center Suite software for my Officejet Pro L7590 (all-in-one) on my wife's computer and was able to print but the solution center not working anymore.  Then, I connected the printer to the network and the driver/software installed on my computer.  I am able to print as well, but when I open the Solution Center it says "Products HP undetected" and then closes.  I have Windows XP Pro on two computers and before that I did a reinstall of the software on my wife's computer, everything worked well.  Where should I go from here?

Thanks for the Document of all possible solutions.  What I found was the "Digital Imaging Monitor" wasn't not and by going to the directory C:\Program Files\HP\Document Imaging\Bin and find the run file hpqtra08.exe, clicking on that and pressing the key ENTRY, the digital imaging monitor started and the icon popped up in the projection of bar good lower program that it is running.  Once who was running, I was able to open the HP Solution Center to my scanner, etc.

The only problem I had was when I restarted my computer, the Document Imaging Monitor does not open and the icon show up in the lower right of the bar program.  So this time I went in the directory C:\Program HP Imaging\Bin, click once on the file hpqtra08.exe , then created and right click a shortcut icon on my desktop for this run.  Now, whenever I need to use the HP Solution Center I double-click on the icon that I created that starts the digital imaging monitor and then I am able to open the HP Solution Center.

Of course, there is a defect in the installation but I reinstalled the program 3 times without success so I'll stick with manually from the digital imaging monitor, because I know it works.

  • Just keep the HP Solution Center and remove all other HP software for printer?

    Hello community,

A few months ago, I have download my printer driver for the version of Windows 7, so I installed. But it comes with all the software, including HP Customer Participation program 13.0, HP Document Manager 2.0, HP Smart Web Printing 13.0 software OCR by I.R.I.S 13.0 HP Imaging Device functions 13.0, HP Photosmart Essential 4.51 and HP Solution Center 13.0. I have even all this software with the exception of the HP Solution Center 13.0. First of all, what is an OCR software? And secondly, can I remove all the software, and keep the HP Solution Center 13.0, this work HP Solution Center yet?

From my experience it should not affect other components, it only affects the use of the specific component

  • The Officejet 8600 can be added to the HP Solution Center?

The HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g can be added to the HP Solution Center?   The 8600 was installed on a computer that already had installed HP solutions Center.  However, the 8600 is not detected by the HP Solution Center.

OfficeJet Pro 8500 Wireless is already integrated in the HP solution on this computer center.

    Windows XP

Hi Solution Center is used only for earlier models and the 8600 can be added. The 8600 has its own software located by launching the desktop icon for the printer or by accessing it through your programs > HP > product folder

  • All-in - one Photosmart C8180: I'm unable to use the HP Solution Center to scan a document into the computer.

I downloaded the updated driver that is located on the HP site for this printer. I uninstalled and installed this driver three times. I keep getting an error message when I use the HP Solution Center to scan a document to a PDF file. I restarted the program, rebooted the computer and reinstalled the software, as had been suggested in the error message.  I'm losing my patience! Anyone have any ideas as to the cause and the solution to this problem?

    Hi @AMDK,

Thanks for getting back to me.

This is a document of support that has alternatives for scanning when Windows 10 does not work with the software of the printer - Scanner without HP (Windows 10) software.

If it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.
  • 8500 a909n all-in-one: could not find a way to install the HP Solution Center after upgrade to win 10

Grateful for help in finding a way to install the HP Solution Center after upgrade win10.  The installation CD original will not auto-run and when seteup.exe forced to run from the DVD, offers 'output' as the only item on the menu.  The HP support web site offers only the "HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows" I have installed and tried to run several times.  Pretty frustrating.  Prints OK from normal applications, but am really struggling to analyze.  Any help appreciated.

I have a 8610 who worked during the first weeks perfectly under windows 8.1.

After the Win 10 update, it does not work.  The installer who "sees" the printer on the wireless network, impossible to install drivers or programs.

Hate to say it, but I think we're out of luck until HP fixed their software.

Very ironic because they don't have that tell of these printers are compatible with Windows 10 messages.  Technically, that's true; It is their software that isn't.

  • The HP Solution Center error message

I want to use the scanner on all-in-one printer, HP Officejet 5610. I am running Windows 7 (64-bit).  When I select HP Solution Center it says that I'm not running the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer.  It will not work until I update to the latest version. However, when I update I can't launch the videos sent to my email, so I was advised to uninstall and revert to a previous version.  How can I get the HP Solution Center to run without upgrading to the latest Adobe Flash Player. BTW, my favorite browser is Mozilla.

I hate to say this, but you can't.  Center solution requires the latest version of Flash Player to run.  I don't know why HP has designed this way, but you need the it or any buttons.  I'm sorry.

  • button to fax on the HP Solution Center does not

OfficeJet Pro 8500 A909g. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The button of the fax on the HP Solution Center does not work. This happens periodically. How to repair? Is there a solution long term for this bug?

If you finish this fax and had then press the fax button in the software does for much longer?  The next time you get this situation, try to restart the computer and check if the button responds more quickly.  You might see a question of resources of the computer if the computer is turned on for long periods.

  • Problem with the HP Solution Center

    Hardware: ASUS Eee PC laptop

Photosmart C410a Prem (All in One)

    OS: Windows 7

    32 bit

This morning, the HP Solution Center worked perfectly.  This afternoon, opened it to scan and instead of the name of the printer, the following appeared $FriendlyName$

Could not repair, so uninstalled printer and all the drivers, software, etc.

Installed the printer with the 'full installation' who says he understands the solution Center.  Connect printer, scanner works, but there is no access to the scan function of the computer without the Solution Center.  To print using print files.  Solution Center does not appear in the programs anywhere.

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

SThomas826, I would like firstly to uninstall the printer from the computer entirely. First unplug the USB cord (if one is used). Then make sure that all related files or programs are completely deleted or removed from programs and features, devices and printers and Device Manager. Then, restart the computer.

Do not connect the USB cable until the software asks.

Then go to http://goo.gl/y346H and find your appropriate drivers and software for your particular printer model. They are all available as free downloads. You will want to use the "Full Feature" of the software version.

I would like to know how it goes!

  • HP Deskjet 4500 G510a Officejet - printer unplug the HP Solution Center screen

    Hello

I have a HP Deskjet 4500 G510a Officejet and I am running Windows XP 7.  Just recently when I press print, a FACSIMILE screen from the HP Solution Center and I can not print from this screen either.  I set up the FAX Solution Center and it's works well but I don't know how to solve the problem that I am having with my printer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry you have a problem with the printer and the solution Center.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers.

It seems that communication has become a problem between the computer and the printer.

Let me know if it helps.
