  Can you help me with my problem of A300 PSAG0Elaptop.

  before that I can still use my laptop normally without plugging the power cord but when plug the source ca the unit restarts all of a sudden. I charge the battery only when the unit is off. And now the worst case gets when I installed the recovery disk hoping would solve the problem. I can no longer load the operating system; It's just loading then it does not load and suddenly shuts down and sometimes simply frozen. I have not tried the safe mode, mode ahci, system recovery, system repair, and stil no chance.
  I brought this already at the center of ASP service and they demanded almost 1 unit brand new laptop for repair of my laptop is not advisable to send them to repair.

  To be honest, I think you have misunderstood something. I have Satellite A300 too and I can confirm that after clean install of OS this mute button isn't here for the mute option, but for lighting ON / OFF.

  For silent use FN + ESC key combination. Compare also the symbols on the illuminance and ESC key and you will see that they are not the same. On the light button, it is symbol of light and ESC you will see the symbol of speakers.

  My application gets the data and then returns it in a table that is updated after each set of data is read. This part works fine, however I also require the user to be able to hold down one of the two buttons to control the function of an actuator control (forward and backward).   I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A300 - 1 MM and I have a problem with the optical drive (Mat * un DVD Ram Uj880as):

  I have the same machine with Win7 32 bit and use several players. Everything works perfectly. On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what may be the problem.   I have a Satellite A300-1 ms with Windows Vista Home Premium SP2. What happens is that after a few minutes, surfing the web, I can't navigate more unless I restart the PC. It happened with SP1, SP2, IE7, IE8 and Firefox. The only service that stop working suddenly is browsing when "http://dns_domain" is entered in the Solution Explorer. These other services running ok:
  -Skype
  -updated windows
  -update anti-virus
  -http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (using IP instead of domain)
  -nslookup, so the connection to the dns server seems to be ok
  -ping to the router

  The only solution is to restart the PC (turn on/off the network interface or reboot the router does not resolve the issue)
  This happens with the help of wi - fi and wired LAN

  Does anyone have a clue on what could happen and how to solve?

  Sounds like the system service domain name (DNS) stopped working after a few minutes. Please check the Services (start > run > services.msc) if the DNS client is always started. Also, try to restart this service. It work?

• Satellite 5100 503: change the HARD drive and start questions

  My hard drive in my Satellite 5100 broke down and I want to change it.

  According to various posts in the forum, it is not possible to start the 5100 from a CD when there is a (new) hard drive in the machine. And the only way to change the boot sequence is via Windows - what does more - there is no other way to change the settings of the BIOS within Windows.

  I looked in the manual - I find no mention after pressing F12 C or any other combination to change the boot sequence (of course I tried yet without result). The only thing I found possible is to press ESC + F1 for BIOS settings default _restore_. And turning the power on by pressing on the left of the space bar gives me the opportunity to Flash a new BIOS.

  Is this really so? Because that would mean I'm stuck. And in this case I will just save the money for the new hard drive and throw my laptop... (and probably by another brand next time - but I sincerely hope that is not so much...)
