Satellite A305-S6852 - connection Bluetooth for Samsung D900i problem

Hi guys!

I have laptop Toshiba A305-S6852 and I have some problems with my Bluetooth.
I can't use it. When I followed this path Start-Toshiba-bluetooth-bluetooth settings, something happens to my screen that install the Bluetooth driver...

Please wait and AI? m pending but a few minutes later, some warns happens too "Please, plug the Bluetooth device and click OK Office? and in fact I na? t understand what that means...

So what do I do to connect to my phone (samsung D900i) via Bluetooth?
Thank you

There are 2 possible reasons that may be the cause:
-Your laptop does not have Bluetooth. Turn your laptop upside down and check if there is a label of bluetooth. If this is not the case, no BT is inside.
-Your antenna switch is off. Turn it on if it is off.

Hank you in advance for your help...

    Hello

Satellite A305-s6902 seems to be a series of laptops Toshiba us and you should look for first on the page of the Toshiba driver we:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/home.jsp?NAV=download

If you will not find the correct drivers XP then you will have to try to collect the drivers of your own hands.
You can try to install drivers released for models on the European driver Toshiba Sat A300 page.

-chipset-> general, this must be an Intel chipset and so the pilot is also found on the Intel page
-Ethernet controller-> This may be a LAN or WLan card. Check what Wlan and LAN card has been integrated, and then visit the page of the manufacturer of the WLan and LAN card driver.
-pci device-> I don't very well but maybe it s m a driver for card reader

The other drivers mentioned are not necessary

  • My watch keeps randomly, dropping its connection bluetooth for my iPhone 5

I need to load my watch and kept my iPhone 5 with me, so the bluetooth connection has been lost.  When I put the watch on my wrist the Watch not re - appariaient is not with the phone. It has finally connected but then dropped again in a few minutes. Since then, the watch and phone are randomly connection and disconnection. Does anyone have advice?

If the watch as a new pairing will be pair I lose all of my previous settings?

    Hi Peter

In order to clarify the terminology: the watch and the iPhone will remain "paired" unless and until that manually disable you them the match.

If they are always paired, they can become "disconnected" from time to time - for example, when taken out of reach of Bluetooth on the other. Normal Bluetooth is around 33 feet/10 meters, but this can vary in practice because of wireless interference.

The following steps can help treat an unusual level of disconnections Bluetooth:

    • Restart your iPhone and your watch:
      • Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first.
      • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;
      • To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
    • Reset the network settings on your iPhone (you will need to re-enter your credentials for the Wi - Fi later):
      • On your iPhone, go to: settings > general > reset > reset network settings.
  • Connection Bluetooth for mobile phone disconnects every hour

I connect my laptop to my cell phone (Palm Pixi to be exact) via Bluetooth and use it as a wireless router to connect to the internet. This is my only form of internet I have here in the Woods (Yes, I have cell phone coverage, but no cable/DSL). The only problem I have with it is that the Bluetooth connection is reset every hour since when I first connected to it when I turn on my computer. Normally, this isn't a problem for web browsing, since it will automatically reconnect, but I do a lot of games with her and sometimes download large files, and this reset can sometimes extremely boring all at stake in the middle of a fight and is enough to kill a large download. I searched Google many times on how to change the login/timeout settings and haven't found anything useful. Is that what I can do to change how long the Bluetooth remains connected without discount to zero/expire?

I run Windows XP SP3 and I stack Bluetooth version 4.00.38 (also tried the latest version, the same question).

Thanks in advance for any advice.

What type of connection do you have on your mobile phone (DUN or NAP)?
As far as I know there is time to stop for the connection of ONE of the side BONES (it was at least the case in XP).

  • Satellite P300 - re-connection Bluetooth problem

    Good day to you all,.

I bought a laptop Toshiba P300 BB with WiFi and bluetooth Windows Vista certified.
Everything works fine with only the exception of the connection between my mobile phone (Nokia 6300) and the program "Nokia PC Suite"
When I put the PC in 'sleep' by closing the lid of the screen, the bluetooth with the phone stop connection (it seems to be ok)
When the PC is wake up by opening the lid of the screen, it will start, but the bluetooth between the phone and the PC (Nokia suite) connection is not recognized. Even trying to do it manually.
To reactivate this connection automatically, the computer must be stopped and restarted re - a.

The PC power is set to power and battery on "never stop".
The action of closing the cover of PC screen is set to 'sleep' (French intelligence)

What is going on? and what needs to be done to fix this problem?
All your 'lights' on this topic will be welcome
    Thanks a lot

    Hello

This question must be post at Nokia. They have designed this software and before software is released, it must be tested. I assume that they test it on several different laptops and desktop computers.

So why this third party software doesn't work on Toshiba must be answered by Nokia.
Computer laptop manufacturers don't offer support for this software and cannot be responsible for the feature.

In any case, for me is not the big problem. It cannot be that difficult to turn off the connection before switching in standby mode, or maybe close to Nokia PC Suite. After waking up, start the software again and it should work properly.

  • DUN connection Bluetooth for Pocket PC, Vista and the user rights restricted

    Hallo,

I managed to establish a DUN connection to my smartphone WM5 Pocket QTEK 9100 Bluetooth-based and the Toshiba Stack, latest version. My laptop is an X 200 - 21 d with Vista Home Premium.

Everything works although I do not change the Vista user to a user with restricted rights, for the user with the Bluetooth utility administrator rights has created a new DUN connection and a new modem with a virtual COM port. The user with restricted rights is not allowed to set up a new connection, but it is necessary to connect to the smartphone with the Bluetooth utility. On the administrative account the option button to allow the connection to call other users is disabled and grayed out, so there is sort now open it up to other users.

How can I set up a Bluetooth DUN connection for a user with restricted rights?

    Thank you in advance!

If the user restricted use the same DUN like the Admin Setup?

If Yes, then you can use "Bluetooth-> custom Mode settings". This allows you to
Select the "Standard 33600 Modem" from the list that has been set up before
the admin. So every ONE that has been configured by the administrator can be used by the
User restricted with this method. Restricted users cannot install hardware, so
If the administrator has not installed a modem, then also the restricted user cannot use it.

The Admin can pre-install a modem with Bluetooth stack installation.
This is useful if the restricted user should be able to configure a DUN connection
with the advanced modem settings which are not used by the administrator.

This should be possible if the file "as.ini" has a line "MODEMINST = 1".

  • Satellite A100-014: connection Wireless D-link router problem

I think that it is working properly. I keep getting kicked from WLAN (connected to the dlink DWL 900AP), but if I plug the Ethernet cable it works very well.

This vista software is a major pain. It will let me install the d-link software.

Does anyone have any knowledge about it?

If you need the d-link software you must ask the manufacturing of router for these updates or visit the support site for manufacturing.

What WLan encryption are you using? I used WPA2 and I had similar problems.
My router and the wireless network card were not 100% compatible with this encryption.

Now I use the WPA or WEP and it works.

  • Connectivity Bluetooth Mouse (VGP-BMS11) problem

The W8 64 Ultrabook SVD1122APXB, my bluetooth (VGP-BMS11) mouse occasionally loses connectivity when the PC wakes extended rest (say a night). This does not always happen, but it's really frustrating when it does. Even the bluetooth settings don't allow me to switch. Sometimes, I would remove the batteries in the mouse to try to reestablish the connection, but does not. The only solution seems to be restarted the PC, I never want to do especially when I have files of work being performed.

  • Satellite A305-SP6803 - I need a list of all drivers

I need to format my laptop Satellite * A305-SP6803 *, but I need a list of all the drivers that must be installed and if there are any installation order.

Please help me with this information. Thank you.

    Freddy

    Hello

Satellite A305-SP6803 is designed for the American market and the Toshiba page contains us all the necessary drivers.

I think that the installation order it is not the main problem
If you want to install the Toshiba drivers then I recommend starting with main driver chipset drivers, display driver sound driver LAN/Wlan, touchpad driver, etc.
After you have installed current drivers, you could start with Toshiba tools such as package VAP (for Vista).

  • Satellite A305-S6825: unable to connect Bluetooth to a wireless mouse

    Hello!

I'm from Russia and I recently bought a portable Satellite A305-S6825 my friend in the United States (and is not on sale in Russia yet).
Everything is OK except one thing - I can not connect Bluetooth to a mouse wireless (of course active and put just nearby).
I went on Bluetooth in "Bluetooth settings" but whenever I press the button "Add a new connection..." I see the following statement appears on
the display "BLUETOOTH IS NOT READY." But how to make it "ready"?

    This problem really intrigues me.

Many thanks in advance for me have helped!
Looking forward to get a quick answer!

    Sergey
    Moscow

Maybe I'm a little confused, but use BT, to BT mouse too. I'm afraid that your laptop has no BT.

In addition, Googling around, I found this page. Is this the right specification for Satellite A305-S6825?

  • Cannot connect by Satellite A305 Linksys WRT160N wireless

I have a Satellite A305-S6839 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium that I tried to connect wireless to a Linksys Wireless - N WRT160N router but I am unable to get the service.
I can configure the router and it transmits properly, but for some reason that I can't connect to it. I tried to reboot several times that the manufacturer suggested unplugging the cables, but that did not work. I suspect that there are drivers I need to download for this operation.

    Someone give some advice?

First, visit the Toshiba support site we and install the latest BIOS and Wifi Driver.

Second, try to change the Wifi settings-Wifi card-> properties > Device Manager. Increase power output, select "802. 11 g-only", turn off energy-saving.
