Satellite P300 - re-connection Bluetooth problem

Good day to you all,.

I bought a laptop Toshiba P300 BB with WiFi and bluetooth Windows Vista certified.
Everything works fine with only the exception of the connection between my mobile phone (Nokia 6300) and the program "Nokia PC Suite"
When I put the PC in 'sleep' by closing the lid of the screen, the bluetooth with the phone stop connection (it seems to be ok)
When the PC is wake up by opening the lid of the screen, it will start, but the bluetooth between the phone and the PC (Nokia suite) connection is not recognized. Even trying to do it manually.
To reactivate this connection automatically, the computer must be stopped and restarted re - a.

The PC power is set to power and battery on "never stop".
The action of closing the cover of PC screen is set to 'sleep' (French intelligence)

What is going on? and what needs to be done to fix this problem?
All your 'lights' on this topic will be welcome
Thanks a lot
JCP

Hello

This question must be post at Nokia. They have designed this software and before software is released, it must be tested. I assume that they test it on several different laptops and desktop computers.

So why this third party software doesn't work on Toshiba must be answered by Nokia.
Computer laptop manufacturers don't offer support for this software and cannot be responsible for the feature.

In any case, for me is not the big problem. It cannot be that difficult to turn off the connection before switching in standby mode, or maybe close to Nokia PC Suite. After waking up, start the software again and it should work properly.

Can I connect my Satellite P300 to TV hdmi-cec and control the laptop with the tv remote?

    Hello

Connecting via HDMI cable should t be a problem. Just buy a high quality cable and connect both devices. With FN + F5, you can switch between monitors.

Unfortunately I think that it of not possible to control the laptop through TV remote. The TV remote is designed for your TV, not your laptop. ;)

  • Satellite P300-1 year - Touchpad problem with AC adapter / CC

I have a laptop Satellite P300-1 year and from the beginning (two weeks)
I have a touchpad problem: it will not immediately responsive and the pointer shakes when pressing the key. Very often, it freezes for only one or two seconds.

It's VERY annoying. A USB mouse works perfectly.
I tried to reinstall the drivers of the ALPS, tried Synaptics ones, just try Windows Vista drivers: no way.

Now, I found the reason: this question is present only when the laptop is powered by the AC adapter / CC.
With the battery, the touchpad is perfect.

I contacted Toshiba Service and thay said that they do not change the AC adapter if I don't mean before a full system restore!
Is it not more simple just try with a new adapter and then only, if the problem persists, try more drastic procedures?

    Anyone had this same problem?

The point is that your laptop should be always verified using the Toshiba factory setting.
Why? Because the ASP wants to make sure that this issue is not related to a software problem (compatibility problems with applications 3rd part). Software problems are not covered by the warranty.

In addition the ASP will always recover the laptop before the verification of the pieces of equipment to malfunction. Therefore, you should always back up your data from the HARD disk until you send the laptop to check.

I recommend you to reinstall the operating system using the Toshiba recover disc and then check if the problem appears.
If yes you can contact ASP and could provide all the necessary details for only one technician.

    Good bye

So what do I do to connect to my phone (samsung D900i) via Bluetooth?
    Thank you

There are 2 possible reasons that may be the cause:
-Your laptop does not have Bluetooth. Turn your laptop upside down and check if there is a label of bluetooth. If this is not the case, no BT is inside.
-Your antenna switch is off. Turn it on if it is off.

  • Satellite P300 cannot connect WiFi after update BIOS

    Hello

After using the original BIOS updated to programm my P300 - 18M can not find wireless networks.

I've updated with file BIOS on 2008-09-22 without any problem. The strange thing is: using the network wireless switch
in front of the P300, it activates the Bluetooth on or off instead of the wireless network card. The wireless card is now is still running, but can't
    find any network.

Another labtop sees several wireless networks, as well as the P300 did before upgrading the BIOS.

Can someone give me some advice or help me with an older version of BIOS for Windows XP?

    Thnx!

    John

    Hello

Very strange problem, but maybe it can be solved very easily
You should try to simply update the WLan driver.
In addition, you should access the BIOS and it should define the default settings.

    Check it out!

  • Connectivity Bluetooth problems

OK, this forum is my last hope before having to post this return to Motorola phone and be without phone completely for at least 5-7 working days.

When I turn on the bluetooth on the phone, I can connect 2 different helmets, my Win 7 PC and a bluetooth Sony watch, BUT ONLY if the phone is less than 3-6 inches from the unit. If I move them more further out, the connection between the drops. It will connect right back to the top as soon as I get them close again. Is this something related to the 2.2 update? I did a hard reset factory, pulled the battery, etc. No go, I can't do the range for bluetooth is greater than 6 inches. And I know that these devices all work since I used them on the Droid Incredible, I just sold in Exchange for it.

The other sad part is that until I did the hard reset, my phone worked ok, slow down to buggy sometimes, but mostly ok. After the reset, I feel now about all of the problems listed in 2.2 bad list which was posted by Matt. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. While this phone has become a thorn in my side, I'm not sure what I am supposed to do without him, well it is in the shop. I was unhappy with my Droid 1 who was buggy and slow all the time, and so far I'm very happy with the DroidX is. Unless Motorola may include a fix for the X really soon, I think it will be the last Motorola phone, I will never buy. Thanks for reading!

If you did a factory data reset and you can not longer than 3 to 6 inches from your phone with your Bluetooth devices, you have a defective phone.  Verizon phone support should send you a replacement the next day phone or the second day of the air.   -Dan

  • HP 15 AF006AX: Connectivity Bluetooth problem

I am not able to connect the bluetooth of laptop computer with other devices. It is to continue on the search for the device. Other devices also not able to find the laptop. Help, please.

    Hello:

I see that your laptop came with the BACK.

Have you installed the driver from Realtek bluetooth?  If this isn't the case, you must.  Windows installs a generic bluetooth driver which is usually not sufficient for the bluetooth work.

This package contains the installation package driver for Realtek Bluetooth in laptop models running a supported operating system.

    File name: sp73250.exe

  • Satellite L450D-13U - connections WLan problems

    Hello

I use talktalk as my internet provider.
I started having an intermittent connection and the internet on the router light goes red. Its a d-link router.

3 weeks a vist to a bt tech they now tell me that the problem might be my laptop.
How could it when he connects and then removes the iradic same connection.

    Hello

You said that the router disconnects Internet. Right?
So how can have this cell phone number? Sorry, but I don t understand this

In your case, I recommend to check the settings of the router.
You should check the update of the firmware and should also check if other computers laptops/computers connected to the same router would have the same problems.

If you are sure that your router is OK 100%, then you should check the notebooks of WLan.
In such cases, it s advisable to update WLan driver

  • Satellite A-C55-1N9 - Bluetooth problems

I need assistance with my bluetooth. The camera itself does not appear in Device Manager.

It should be a module shared with wifi Atheros module, I have reinstalled the drivers WLAN, then installed the Bluetooth packet filter Driver.

Did not work, then tried a factory reset using the recovery media, but still no bluetooth.

    Hello

What Windows system do you use?
In the case of Windows 7, you need to install the driver Atheros WLan, Atheros BT filter and finally Toshiba BTstack driver package.

In the case of win 8 / 8.1 win, you must install the following by BT Atheros driver system Toshiba filter package driver and stack of BT.

By the way: check this doc [how to turn on the Bluetooth feature after a clean install of Windows 8 | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2C03FI0001R04.htm]

  • Re: Satellite P300-135 - Gothic 3 problem "FN".

The game is up to date, my drivers are up to date, but when all logo submissions that appear when entering a game are finished and menu screen appears, "Number lock" is automatically activated and cannot stop this function no matter what I do. The solution I came up with that was to remap the game for NumLock keyboard settings on.

Can anyone give a solution to this problem, or there at - there a way to disable the keys "FN"?

As far as I know Toshiba Flash cards can be disabled. You can do if you open the settings for Flash cards. You can find it under Start menu > all programs > Toshiba > utilities.

    Try it. Maybe using.

  • 3.1 connection Bluetooth problems

I have a BT 5000 portable Motorola BT keyboard Microsoft mouse and S9 HD headset. The 3.1 update has fixed the bug extensible key, but when the keyboard and mouse are connected, the keyboard becomes disconnected every minute couple. The mouse also interferes with the helmet, excpet when I stop using the mouse.

The functionality of the mouse is very impressive and I understand that several BT connections may interfere with each other. But the Xoom should be able to handle an announced 7? Connections to BT? My keyboard and headset works with minimal interruption, so I wouldn't rule out the mouse.

If anyone has a combo keyboard and mouse that does NOT cause of it please let me know.
