  You use Vista 64 bit OS.

  Are you sure that Skype is designed for OS 64-bit at 100%?
  I don t use Vista 64 bit but 32 bit OS and Skype runs without problem.

  However, if this error BSOD doesn t always so I guess that this was a single question and it shouldn't t appear in next time.

  But if the BSOD still appears, then you must reinstall the software of webcam and Skype again.

  for Win XP 32 sp 3. I had several problems to lift the computer up and running. After reading several posts

  You must install the basic drivers first.

  Try to install the driver for the Chipset Intel first, then the display driver.

  You can enable and disable in the BIOS.
  Go to BIOS (F2)-> Advanced tab-> the system setup
  Here you can find the option called function keys mode (without pressing FN first)

  Don t forget to save changes made in the BIOS before leaving the BIOS settings.

  My partner bought a S50t-B Satellite probably 5-6 months and everything worked perfectly, until she had a few updates to windows that has happened, and now the touch HID compatible drivers are apparently disabled in Device Manager?

  The touch screen no longer works, and I've pretty much exhausted all the options I could think.

  I tried to reinstall windows, apply all updates via the service center, I can't find the drivers for the touch screen on the support Web site downloads section and the bios etc is all to date.

  I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to proceed with this issue, since the main reason, she bought there the touch screen function.

  I don't have any idea what system you have installed, but if the laptop was equipped with touch screen, additional drivers for touchscreen are not necessary.
  If touch screen is working properly, the Windows (Win 8.1) should detect it automatically.

  What Satellite S50t-B-ooo do you excatly?
  From my point of few, the laptop must be set to settings factory just to check if its really a software related issue... so I wonder why you do not use HARD drive recovery or recovery media to restore the laptop to factory settings?

  Try please roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool. Maybe it will help but if not check Toshiba control utility and try to reconfigure the keys.

  Of course the warranty would cover the replacement of the power adapter.

  As far as I know that the international standard warranty covers all parts of a year long laptops.

  Your laptop is 5 months old and so the warranty should still be valid!

  I was wondering if someone could let me know how long I should wait for the power of the battery on my satellite p300 - 1 c 9 to last?

  The laptop is now 11 months, again it only lasted a meager 1 hour, now its down to 44 mins which seems to be very short.

  It doesn't seem to be the point of a lot having a laptop that must be connected whenever you use!
  I talked to toshiba tech when he was nine and was advised to unload a few time completely to form it and he said he would get me another 10% (wow, a whole 6 minutes), which made no difference.

  I'm certainly new on these forums, but I have a few questions about how to diagnose why this laptop that I bought is not turn properly.

  I have a postcard to read where the motherboard stops, but apparently did not go as far as the POST.
  There is power to the Board of Directors, the light on the charger appears and stays on and sometimes, not often, begins to Flash as well.
  The battery light remains always orange when it is plugged. But only when the AC adapter is connected.
  If the battery is connected, it shows without battery lights at all.

  I m afraid. you have a serious hardware problem.
  The blink code means that it has detected a hardware problem on the motherboard and in most cases, the motherboard should be replaced.

  Unfortunately, you won't find any maintenance manual online for download.
  AFAIK such manual are created for ASP (authorized service partners) only.

  What to say. The new motherboard is really expensive it s a part of portable more expensive and if your laptop is not under warranty then this replacement could be a costly affair.

  But perhaps a laptop second hand or the motherboard would be a better solution

  Recently my soft keys touch has stopped working. My laptop is only around the age of 4 months. Had been working fine so far. No new software had been placed on the laptop in the week before the soft keys touch, stop working. I tried to use the FN and function keys, but they did not seem to do anything.
  I tried to push for a restoration of the previous system with no result. I uninstalled and reinstalled the value added together as suggested several places in this forum and most who did for me is to kill internet bandwidth and my time.

  Is there a solution for this or I have to send this to a warranty repair?
