Hello

The ATI catalyst graphics card is part of the display driver.
You can find the display driver on the * Toshiba pilot European * page.
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/

I recommend reinstall the display driver and all other new Win 7 drivers

  • Satellite A350 - strange problem with hitatchi HTS ATA 320 GB HARD DRIVE

Recently bought a Toshiba Satellite A350 - still under warranty.

My problem started with gel/delay of Windows whenever I transferred specific files.
I found that a lot of my files are the same; It's then that I transfer or open these files - this can take 10 minutes to load crash, then displays a corruption error
    During this phase:
The hard drive makes a slow repetitive scratching sound
The laptop hangs for an average of 10 minutes before returning to a usable state - I found more than 15 files and suspect many more that are corrupt.
I suspect a faulty hard drive, like the check disk crashes and my system hangs whenever I open / transfer of these files.

I tried to reformat and install the new OS, but always check disk crashes and I lost a lot of important files, because they became unusable.

Is there something I can do to remedy this
    or
If the hard disk is defective, Toshiba will replace?

    BTW - I m in Australia.

    Hello

Exciting announcement, but it will be interesting to know how exactly you do and what kind of data are responsible for this. I want to say I use laptop computers and can not say that some of the data makes my crazy HDD.

If you really think that there is a problem with the disk HARD nearest Toshiba authorized service provider contact. They will check the functionality of the HARD drive, and if there is a serious hardware problem, you will get a new. Of course for free.

  • Satellite L300D - accidentally uninstalled driver ATI Catalyst

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L300D laptop 13s with a model number of PSLC8E-02P013EN.

I wanted to reduce my memory on my laptop and being the stupid person that I am I accidentally uninstalled the ATI Catalyst driver who was here.
Therefore, everything on my screen became larger and less concentrated.

It says it has a resolution of 1024 x 768, but I don't know if it was the same before hand. I tried to re - install the versions of the Catalyst driver again, but nothing seems to have changed since this laptop model has been abandoned, and I can't find any way to restore things to the crisp picture that they were once before.

Usually after installing display driver, everything should be OK again. Your laptop computer was originally shipped with Vista. Are you still using the original version of Vista or Win7 maybe?

In any case, display driver for your machine, you can find and download on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

Please, find the right driver and try to install it. Send comments.

  • A problem with ATI Catalyst

I just received the following message from Microsoft, due to an error.

"ATI Catalyst has stopped working properly.

A newer version of this software is available for download that resolves this problem. Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. recommends updating to take advantage of improvements to stability and security"

Click here to download the update on the site of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. When I followed the link to this site he asks me I don't understand questions about product family.  I had never heard of the ATI catalyst, so I don't know what product family to put it in, or if really necessary. Can anyone help?

  • Satellite A350/07F - problem with scrolling of the docs

    Hello

I have a question about the use of my Touch Pad of Toshiba Satellite A350/07F - laptop HNX.

It turns out that after some time the search will stop automatically and then I have to restart my laptop so he could start again. It also stops to scroll down if I keep my cell blocked for an hour or two. No idea how to change the settigs so that this does not happen.

    Thank you guys.

AFAIK for scrolling on touchpad it will be activated virtual bar on the right side of the touchpad.
Try to check this in mice advanced settings where you can set all this. Disable this option and try to activate again.

On my Satellite A300, it works fine.

At startup, the computer recognizes the card and then turns off the front LED.

I uninstalled and reinstalled but no result.
What can I do to get my Wi - Fi works again?

PS: when I've been upgraded to Windows 8, it had the same problem...

This old notebook was designed for Vista and support for Win7. No more than that.
FN + F8 is controlled by special tool developed for the feature FN keys.

As much I know Toshiba offers no update for this older model laptop.

It displays an error code 43.

After some research, I found http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=268378&SiteID=1

Some people suggested to get the last update of the bios for laptop. I've updated to the latest version of the bios, but the problem persists, someone has the same problem?
    Any help would be valuable.

    Thank you

    Hello

Usually, you use the graphic drivers of Toshiba Toshiba laptops.
I found the description of the error 34 on this site from Microsoft:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB; EN-US; 310123 #XSLTH3439121122120121120120

34 error code: Windows cannot determine the settings for this device
Solution:: the device requires manual configuration

Well, the fact is that Windows Vista is not official on the market and there is a lot of necessary test. Moreover, Toshiba doesn't utter the graphics driver for Windows Vista at this time. In my opinion, wait for Toshiba graphic driver. I m sure that the original Toshiba graphics drivers will work in the future.

  • Satellite A200-1FL: problem installing Bluetooth on Windows 7

    Hello world

I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 1FL (PSAE6E) with Windows Vista and I just installed Windows 7 32 bit (no update or upgrade).

The problem is that when I try to install the bluetooth stack, it installs all ok, but the driver.
    I took the version 7.10.12 for Windows 7 32 bit from http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download.

The driver installation window presents itself and the progress bar does not move.
I waited for a long time and nothing, no response, so I have to cancel.

However, the software has been installed and when I try to start Bluetooth config or any other tool, the same phenomenon occurs: the driver installation window shows upward and nothing.

Also, I tried to follow the installation instructions of command since the drivers toshiba download page guess what drivers are each options.

Can someone knows why this phenomenon occurs?
Am I missing something or is there a known issue with the Bluetooth in Windows 7 driver?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jorge

    CAN ANYONE HELP?

I also tried to install Windows 8.1, but exactly the same thing happens

  • Satellite Pro C850 - problems with WiFi after Windows update 8.1

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could give some advice on a problem I have.

Had an adjustable C850 Pro for a few months and worked well on Windows 8.
I myself am then harassed and intimidated by Microsoft Update in order to install Windows 8.1 and in a moment of weakness, I succumbed (got sick of the nagging).

Since that time, my wifi is very intermittent; either I'm on another computer write this and the laptop is essentially not connected to the internet.

For some reason any (although I didn't try it before), I can not connect via ethernet either, so I think it's probably the driver problems. (I also tried to connect the public wifi but fails).

I tried to install the driver WiFi Toshiba 8.1 but that has not solved the problem.
Then I noticed that I'm supposed to install a bunch of drivers in the order.

Maximum setting to do it, but the first package (associated with bluetooth) said I have to remove the current driver... I try by "turning off", then "Uninstall" but 8.1 seems to re - install automatically and I don't know how to disable this option (I can try to delete the driver file, I guess, but I'm sure 8.1 covered too and will probably launch a drone to try me out ", if I do). *

Any kind soul there suggestions on a way forward? Pls.

I see in the instructions of Toshiba Windows Update 8.1 should I have uninstalled the drivers before the update, but there is not much I can do about it now. :(

    Hello

    > I don't see in the instructions of Toshiba Windows Update 8.1 should I have uninstalled the drivers before the update, but there is not much I can do about it now
All your problems with the Windows 8.1 update related to the fact that you have not upgraded the Windows 8.1 system as recommended by Toshiba.

    Details:
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/generic/windows8_1-message/

    Solution?
Back to Windows 8 (reset the system back to factory settings)
Then, install all updates and patches for Windows 8 and follow along with the upgrade of system as described on the Toshiba Windows 8.1 upgrade page

On the page of the Toshiba UE driver, you will find all the instruments that must be installed in the correct order and Windows 8.1 driver!

  • Satellite A350-13 b - OpenGL and Radeon HD3650

    Hello

My laptop is the Satellite A350-13 b with ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650.

    I found that I have OpenGL 1.1 (7/7) and partially 1.2 (1/8).

I installed the latest drivers from ATI, modded with Mobility Modder site (also tried drivers from the Toshiba website - no results).

I found that the modded drivers require OpenGL patch to make it work.

    Must be added:

    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLDrivers\ati2dvag
    "Version" = "2" REG_DWORD %
    'DriverVersion' = '1' REG_DWORD %
    'Flags' = '1' REG_DWORD %
    "Dll"="atioglxx.dll" REG_SZ %

But after he OpenGL Extensions Viewer see values (1.1 and 1.2).

How is it possible to check the highest available version OpenGl and operate?

I have a file called atioglxx.dll in Windows\System32 and registry entries mentioned above, but OpenGL Extensions Viewer says:
