• Satellite C650 - cannot access the HDD recovery to restore Win7

  Windows partition has been destroyed, I have a copy of the recovery of HARD drive to an external drive, but using a disc of windows7 to start on windows does not recognize the recovery of hard drive as being any information system so will not restore the original windows and Toshiba Utilities.

  Problem is this recovery saved disk image external DRIVE cannot be used. In s manuals document is clearly described that the owner of the laptop must create recovery media. This recovery media can be a DVD disc or USB key, depending on the model of laptop.

  What you can do now is to restore disc original order or to install the clean version of the OS with installation of Microsoft disk but it is also not the best solution.

  I bought a s video cable a few days that my TV has a s video slot machine but my laptop does not work then I had something converter you plug one end on TV then an end in this converter then its got a VGA top connect and when I connect it to my laptop nothing happens.
  I looked around settings etc. nothings wrong.

  I wonder if you guys something that will work or a way to find out why my those works do not. My TV has s video to my laptop not its got VGA. It's Satellite C650 and my sony plasma TV is not HD, it's just got a s-video / scart slot. I hope someone could help me

  So you need to check if the BIOS so the CD/DVD drive is listed. It should appear on the first page of the BIOS.

  If you want to boot from the disk and then switch on and you press F12.
  Usually, a menu should appear that allows you to choose the ODD (CD/DVD)
  Choose this option and try to boot from the CD.

  Is the sound level in Windows set to 100%?

  When you connect external speakers or headphones is the sound level ok, or too low?

• Satellite C650 - is slow on the first day

  Got a new Satellite C650 two weeks ago. Everything on it runs very slowly.

  Abandoned entirely on Internet Explorer and positioned on Google Chrome, which helped, but it is nowhere near as fast it should be. I use a broadband wireless connection which works fine on other laptops in the House. I read that I should look at disabling some start-up processes that are not necessary but which?
