  Bit of an issue, the wireless on my laptop will not work. It is certainly a problem with the laptop itself, the router etc are all fine. I can connect to the internet with a cable, but Wireless does just not all. The switch on the front of the laptop, which should turn the radio power, has no effect.   I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A300 - 1 MM and I have a problem with the optical drive (Mat * un DVD Ram Uj880as):

  What about different DVD media? Have you tested the media DVD-R or DVD + R common?
  Have you tried different brands of DVD?
  I can't give you a properly answer why the drive can't burn your DVD - RW, but to my knowledge not every media is supported by the player.
