  I just bought a new laptop (Satellite L30 PSL33E-02S01LBT). He had installed Windows Vista, but it was horribly slow.

  I installed Windows XP SP2 on it's updates. I installed all the drivers from toshiba site I could find for my model.
  Everything works fine except the sound. I tried to install the drivers found on the toshiba Web site, but it fails with this error:
  'No pilot only is supported in the suite of drivers' (AKA FRENCH: 'no driver no is supported in this suite of drivers').

  In my list of equipment I have this with a "?":
  (?) Audio device on High Definition Bus Audio

  I tried to install the Realtek drivers with 5.10.0.5273 version.

  This driver has been installed successfully, but the sound still doesn't work.

  So, I removed this driver and found my "Audio on Bus High Definition Audio device"...

  What could I do? Is this computer model toshiba laptop has problems with XP and the sound?

• Satellite C655 - new keyboard is not working properly

  I have fairly new Toshiba Satellite C655 and after spilling a (tiny) amount of soda on the upper left keyboard, the keyboard stop working completely.

  After you install a new keyboard, most of the keys work except the P, V, R, T, [and space keys. External USB keyboard works perfectly. I bought another new keyboard and replaced it with care, but the problem persists. After that, I tried updating the BIOS without result.

  Anyone who is familiar with this and knows how to solve the problem?

  I assume that this question was not included in the past, before the drink is spilled on the keyboard. Right?

  This means that this fluid is the reason for the keyboard problem.
  I guess, both new keyboards are OK.

  In this case, the problem may be the motherboard or you used two keypads which are not entirely compatible. But I guess that this isn't really a problem.

  I have a satellite A100 (not sure the model, but the model is PSAA9A-00S00F)

  The sound does not work, but I haven't used the noise for about 7 or 8 months ago.
  Mute is not on, all volume controls are ok.
  There is only the internal speakers.
  I downloaded the current drivers.
  Running Windows XP Pro.
  I did the Windows updates that I can find and made the process of troubleshooting through Windows.
  I'm out of warranty so wouldn't send away to get looked at unless absolutely necessary due to cost.

  The CD/DVD drive is not read, but the sound is not related to this, because it will not healthy for web content.

  Someone at - it other suggestions of what could be the problem?

  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A300-PSAG4A running on Vista 32 bit. A few days ago the music keys Harman/Kardon lighting on it suddenly stopped working. • Embedded audio player doesn't work with Firefox in a laptop computer, but works fine on a PC. How can I fix? It started with the new design of Firefox.

  This problem apparently only occurs with the audio player built into http://www.theskepticsguide.org/ . I tried other embedded audio players from other websites and they work fine. In the Firefox installed in my laptop, no matter what I do it does not play the SGU podcast. When I try to click on the download option it says "Video cannot be read because the file is corrupted. However, I can play and download the podcast without any problem with Firefox installed in my PC, which is the exact same version that is in my laptop, so I don't really know what could be the cause.

  I remember that this was not the case before the new design of Firefox. I tried the solutions proposed on this problem before asking this question. I checked that the plugins are up-to-date. I removed all the addons and plugins, and this did not help either. Firefox reset with no luck. Also tried a fresh install of Firefox and it didn't work. I used the laptop without synchronization first, and then synchronize with no difference. Flash is up to date and there is no apparent problems there.

  Maybe it's a codec missing or damaged? I wouldn't trust codecs from sources other than Microsoft for this purpose, since Firefox tries to use Windows to read the file.

  If you decide to give up and around the native player for a plugin, these changes of settings usually work for this:

• Satellite M30 WiFi adapter doesn't work anymore

  In recent days the card wifi in my Satellite M30 had a way to die once a day.
  The first time that I have had a light and I saw when I turn it on and goes off. So which did not help to get it going again, I decided to reboot and wifi is dead completely.

  Later, when I did a scan for changes on the hardware in the Device Manager, the adapter popped up in the list of devices again and works perfectly.

  It is certainly only a hardware problem and it cannot be solved by the exchange of the wireless LAN card. You can check if it works on linux (just download a knoppix live CD for example and let the operating system recognizes the card Wi - Fi - if he won´t recognize then it s certainly broken).

  I tried your sample on the same device/software code and sound plays for me, so we'll see what that might be:

  1. after triggering play(), hit the volume Up and Down keys, the dialog box is on-air should appear and display the name of the audio file, but also a play or pause button. If you see the pause button, it indicates that the audio file is reproduced. What do you see in the dialog box is on the air after play() is called?

  2. If you copy the file to the device, you are able to play using the file manager/music apps?

  3. is the local or remote file at the WebWorks app?

  4. have you tried other audio files?

  If you have a web server (xampp, wamp), try hosting the web page and pointing your browser to BlackBerry 10 page and the test.

• Satellite L350-20F - CHKDSK doesn't work and stops

  When you restart to run computer disk check starts just as usual. If I uncheck both options in dialog box chk drive starts but stops 3/4 in.

  As the rest of the system works very well my main concern is if this causes problems should I I need to restore my recovery disks or the hard drive recovery system?
  The OS is Vista Home Premium with all updates installed. I also note that the same problem occurs in safe mode.

  I just upgraded my laptop Windows 7 64 bit.

• InDesign CS4 suddenly doesn't work does not correctly

• Police suddenly doesn't work no-future LT Std

  I use future LT Std with CS4 for a long time. I recently installed the CS5 trial. It's the only thing that has changed on my system in the past while. Now future does not appear in any CS4 application or in Word. Curiously, it appears in the Pages. I uninstalled CS5 and restarted with no luck.
