  Unfortunately, you need special BIOS version to be able to Flash the BIOS to USB flash memory.

  The fact is that you could download only the version of the BIOS Win-based driver Toshiba UE page and requires this version of BIOS preinstalled system.

  In your case, it seems that something was wrong during the process of updating the BIOS and the EPROM module was not properly flashed. To resolve this problem, the EPROM module must be flashed once more use special disc of crisis of the BIOS.

  To my knowledge, this can be done by Toshiba approved maintainer.

  However, I have also read in this forum that only users managed reflash the BIOS with Bios Phoenix crisis recovery tool. Not very well where you can find these software but recommend to google.

  You see the start screen of Toshiba, or if you are able to access the BIOS?

  Where this is not possible, try this:
  Disconnect the power adapter, remove the battery.
  Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
  Then connect the two parts (batteries and AC adapter) for the laptop and try to turn on the unit.

  In case this would not solve the problem of the laptop, I'm scared of m the BIOS update was not completed successfully and I think that only authorized Toshiba service provider would be able to help you.

  On the Toshiba download page you can download the latest version of the BIOS only. Unfortunately there is no option for older versions of IDF.
  What you can try is to contact the Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help. They have access to the database of the BIOS, and they can get the old version for you.

  I want to * Toshiba BIOS REFLASH * in * THE SAME * VERSION. In other words, I want to force utility of flashing to install the same version of BIOS despite it's already isntalled (instead of just show 'the most recent version isntalled laready' popup and close the application after this popup).

  Is this possible? Is there a way to trick the flashing utility to reinstall the BIOS to same version? Or to force the old version install?
