  I checked the documents provided with the laptop and it is not there (just a quick start sheet and a manual, no keys to the office here info).   You are right. You have the trial version, and you can use it for free just 60 days. To do this you must pick up activation key when you are online.

  If you want to use as the full version, you need to BUY the license and activation key valid.
  You didn t get the Office free of charge.

  I tried to uninstall and it has been removed from the Uninstall list, however, when I look in the start menu > all programs > Microsoft Office all items office are still reported with my 2003 versions are for example

  It is a nuisance.

  These are strange sounds, uninstall MicrosoftOffice will never cause the problem. Try to use Uninstall Manager like this:

  I installed Windows 7 today and now the Chicony Webcam does not work. I've updated the drivers and the software for the Toshiba for Windows 7 download site, but nothing happens when I click on camera assistant.   Really bad, my old PC and laptop can connect to my external monitor to 1920 by 1080, which is the native resolution of the screen, even made my Xbox 360. But won't my Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-291, it tops out at 1680 by 1050 and will not display anything higher. I tried the latest drivers without success. What is a physical limitation on the laptop?

• Satellite L300: problems trying to get the CD player work

  Currently, I have a Satellite L300 unit and have problems trying to get my CD drive work.

  Recently, I deleted the cd player, completely by chance instead of a printer.
  Now it won't reinstall and no update driver makes no difference.
  Anyone have any ideas?

  First of all, try to restore Windows back to a Restore Point prior to a date before the problem occurred. System Restore is in the start menu-> programs-> Accessories-> system tools

  Then try to remove the CD/DVD filters in the registry, and then restart. Windows should find the CD Player automatically, unless the registry has been messed up.

  When the associated CD/DVD (such as iTunes, Nero, virtual CD software), the software is installed, they install filters in the registry, which can cause compatibility problems.

  (1) run Regedit (start-> Run-> Regedit)
  2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
  (3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
  (4) restart.

  If your CD/DVD programs stop working, you will need to reinstall them (preferably with an updated version).

  Its a M100 changed for the Middle East market as well far as I can tell its basically the same as the European models of M100, except with a smaller hard drive.

  As Akuma said on the underside of the laptop, you will find a HARD drive cover is fixed by 2 screws I think. If you remove these screws, you can see the HARD drive and remove/Exchange it.

  Satellite L300 supports SATA 2.5 hard drives, and you can buy the HARD drive of every computer store where you want to.
  I have good experiences with Seagate and Western Digital hard drives but of course, you can buy a disk from a different manufacture. ;)

  But after the installation of the driver (WinXP SP3) - World version of download Toshiba - WiFi I can use only 11 channels as in the standard of the FCC (American). How to force the wifi adapter to work with the standard ETSI (European) to have 13 channels available? Some points have set higher to 11 channel, and I can't use them.
