  Follow the steps below to set the desktop background and select the image to fit the display screen

  1. open the wallpaper by clicking on the Start button , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, personalization, and then clicking desktop wallpaper.

  2 click on the image or color you want for your background.

  If the image you want to use is not in the list of background images to display, click the location of the image downwards arrow to view other categories, or click Browse to find the picture on your computer. When you find the image of your choice, double-click it. It will become your desktop wallpaper and appear in the list of desktop backgrounds.

  3. under how the image must be positioned, choose to have the picture fit the screen, tile, or be centered on the screen and then click OK, you can choose here to adapt to the screen.

  If you place an image with a height or width greater than 2048 pixels - in Muse - Muse will scale the image down proportionately, limiting the larger size to 2048.

  However, if you want to use the picture to its original size, you can move the image to the desired size by dragging handles to resize, or by entering values for height and width in the strip control on top. After that, go to the active panel and locate the image, then right-click on this image in the active panel and choose "import of large size. Which would bring the image lost the original image information.

• Re: Satellite L550 - imported into PowerPoint Photos are too dark

  Having problems inserting JPG photos of 'Photos' Power point - they become much too dark after the transfer. Gamma-ing the JPG or upping lightness does not work. I imported the same impages using other PC and there is no problem with images in PowerPoint. The photos are A1 and taken on SLR cameras the top of the page.

  Someone had similar probs? I am using Windows 7 on my Satellite L550

  In your case, I recommend you to install the latest ServicePack for your Office suite. You can get it on the Microsoft Web site. Moreover, download also all patches for the version of PowerPoint you have.

  If it doesn t work I would try reinstalling PowerPoint.

  I've used IOS for iPad, buy one of the Macbook Pro last fall (and actually use Lightroom and PS for photos) but want to keep a few photos in Photos on Mac.  I have no problem with the photo stream on iPad (recently - Pro) - I can pull some with 6sPlus of the iPhone, the photos appear in the photo gallery on iPad and I select and save image on film on iPad and remove it from the photo gallery.  I have iCloud library checked on any device, so I chose that the pictures are saved on this device.  I found that all my photos in Photostream seem to be saved all the pictures on the Mac.  Otherwise it seems intuitive to me unlike IOS - and I realize that the OSx does not necessarily the same as IOS.

  So my question is - without going through the 'copy Photos imports' checked, make pictures just automatically add to the Photos in the photo gallery?  If so, doesn't make much sense.

  To test this, I took several pictures on the iPhone, waited until they were downloaded in PHotostream then I select the photo, add to an album (album test) and then delete the Photostream photo - and sometimes it deletes the album and sometimes not.  So - I want to know how you make sure that the photo is in fact on the Mac and not only in the photo gallery.

  Information that you reference was never available in the facebook for blackberry app, same 1.9. However, you can only view the mobile site by pressing Menu in the application, then select "Go to the Mobile Site" it of your perception of information, hope that answers.

  I have a Photosmart e 7510 and am trying to print photos.  I have installed HP Premium paper and HP Photo cartridge installed.  When I print the photos that are green - I printed both a progress report and a report of print quality and the cartridge photo is full but the magenta is empty.  It seems to me that the photos are print with regular color cartridges and not the photo cartridge.  Or photos using all the cartridges?  I correctly on all the printer settings and chose to 'better' than the quality of the photo.

  Any help is appreciated...

  The photo cartridge is just black photo, which is used to improve the nuances of black and colors in a photo. When photos are printed colours would be used to create the best possible performance. I could replace the magenta cartridge and printing resumes and see if that solves the Green tinting the problem you are currently experiencing. I hope this helps.

  Missing? Do you mean that in the photos, there's a question mark icon? Or do you mean something else?

  If it's a question mark, you will need to reconnect photos using these instructions: Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing

  Looks like pictures all put the flag to reject, and your grid view options are not configured to display flags for me. This could happen if all images have been selected and you press the "X" (X = 'mark') as rejected.

  Look in view > View Options > view grid and select Show grid Extras.  Make sure that the cell icons area has 'Flags' selected.

  You see a black flag with an "X"?

  To remove rejection indicator, select all (Ctrl-A or command-A) and press the 'U' (U = "Unflag").

  My Photos app worked perfectly when I bought my Asus s400 last week. I had another problem with the Intel anti-theft service so my laptop was Refreshed by people of the Asus store I think. So I started to rebuild the stuff I got in here, but the Photos App is buggy now. I tried EVERYTHING from uninstalling and reinstalling, the withdrawal / reapply permissions at Facebook, etc. The photos would simply stop at 9000 + and start showing "something went wrong". If you open the application, he would say "224 files, 1 file" and the albums are all there, but latest have nothing in them. It's driving me crazy.   Shared albums are essentially photo streams. They will always show the photos in the order that add you them to the album.  If you want your photos to appear in a specific order, you must add them to the album individually, one by one, exactly in the order of your choice.  You cannot add all photos in an album at once - which will give unpredictable results.

  For example, to create a new album with your photos.  Then ctrl-click on the album and select "Keep arranged by Date, oldest first" to sort the album.  Now add each photo from the album shared individually.  There will be a lot of work.
