Satellite L750 suddenly began to mute

Hello

my laptop suddenly started to turn off the sound on its own for several days I tried everything to fix on google but no luck,

the sound cuts suddenly to chance and I have to sign out and then sign back in to do work so any help please?

> I've tried everything to fix on google but no luck.

Hmm. I'm not very well what you have tried to solve this problem exactly but all the laptop must be first test using the factory reset Toshiba m.
Why?
It's simple: some 3rd party software, updates or changes to the settings that were made in the past, could cause sound problems.

I guess this question is a distributed software because after a reboot of the system, the sound has appeared again.

Of course, you can also try solutions workaround common as new driver of installation or you could clean the system using the freeware software like CCleaner, but for me at the moment, the Toshiba recovery procedure looks like the best solution.

By the way: have you checked if there is a difference of use of headphones?

  • Satellite L750-176 - FAN began to operate in time continuously

    Hello

    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L750-176.

Recently, the fan started to operate at peak continually, even without any task running (only system tasks).

I had this problem in the past, but has always resolved itself after a while.

Is not an overheating problem, since different temperatures are consistent.
It has Windows 8 OS and all drivers are up to date.

Thanks for your help and sorry for the bad English

    Paolo.

Hmm the fan is controlled by the BIOS.
Fan table containing the info how a cooling module must work, is stored in the BIOS

Try to configure the BIOS to the default settings.
Also, remove the AC adapter and the battery. Press and hold the button for about 30 seconds and then reconnect the two parts.

To be honest I m not very well if this procedure would solve the problem but it of certainly worth a try.

  • Suddenly, satellite L750 going to sleep - low battery?

    Hi guys,.

I just want to ask why is that when I'm playing games like Assassins Creed/DMC.
Sometimes my phone will shut down. The indicator lights on the left side were:

    A/c power: white Uni

    Power: Flashing Orange

    Battery: Flashing orange and

And when I try to turn it on, it turns even if I press the power button.

Furthermore, I always remove the battery.
I could only turn on when I unplug the charger and plug it in again.
Sometimes I can play for hours and it only happens when I play games.

    Model: SAtellite L750-1EZ

    Hello

    First clarify you something:
The laptop goes to fashion 'sleep' or he just stopped automatically?

    Now something about the indicators:

    _DC/LED (first left) _
This lights normally white when properly power adapter.
If the output voltage of the AC adapter is abnormal or if power outages, this LED is flashing ornage/amber

_AC power LED: (2nd left) _
It normally turns white when the computer is turned on.
If you turn off the computer in Standby Mode, the LED flashes orange about one second on, two off dry. Once when the system shuts down and while it remains off

    _Battery LED (3rd left): _
This indicator shows the State of charge of battery and white indicates that the battery is fully charged. Orange indicates the battery is charging and orange blinking indicates a low battery charge level.

    Troubleshooting _Now: _
If the computer turns off and DC IN indicator flashes orange/orange could be linked to the high temperature of the CPU: overheating.
This can happen due to games because the laptop s CPU running performance
and produce a high heat dissipation.
This can happen because the cooling modules are timed by the dust.

  • Satellite L750 - battery problem

I just encountered a problem with my laptop Toshiba which has wonder.

8 months ago, I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L750.
The laptop has Windows 7 Home Premium, 4 GB of RAM and processor Intel Core2Duo B960.
The laptop has met all my expectations and I was happy with it.

Last night when I took it out, I noticed that the battery had 45 minutes left on it such as measured by battery meter (which I know can be inaccurate). I wasn't worried because I had only a little to do but all of a sudden and without warning my laptop shut down on me.

When I came out the power cord and restarted, there is a warning near the battery icon in the Notification bar system that says something like: "there is a problem with the battery. Switch to HQ in order to avoid the sudden closure and loss of data.

Since I'm already on ca I do not worry and my laptop worked fine but I'm worried.
I've had my laptop for 8 months, and already the battery has failed?
    What happens here?

I know that they are not lacking, but I had computer last for 4 or 5 years.
My girlfriend bought a Toshiba (a cell phone different, I know) two years ago and uses here a lot more hard that I do and the battery's still going strong.

Is this a problem documented with Toshiba or just a stroke of luck for me?
Although I found a very cheap site price * cbatterie.com* I can certainly buy another battery, but I won't be happy if it fails in a short period of time.

    Any ideas on that?
    Thanks for all the help.

As you know autonomy has little time running. On some laptops, it runs on some more long.
We cannot say with certainty what the problem with your battery but watch carefully if the problem persists and if you are sure that the battery is at the end of his life during the first contact the nearest Toshiba service provider, explain the situation and try to get a new one for free.

  • Satellite L750 charging and the question of the random stop

    Hi all

Recently I had problems with my laptop Satellite load.

    The laptop is running Win7 64 bit and is a Satellite L750 PSK2YA - 0LN028

Now the problem is not that his load not but that he chooses to charge and no fees when he wants to. With the laptop plugged into current alternative to a real charger Toshiba (3.96 tested A 19.48V) the laptop charge for a minute or so normally with the animated icon (moving) in the set by saying "plugged in, load. Then all of a sudden the animation stops in the status bar, but it still says "plugged in, charging" 2 lights on the front of the laptop flashes orange simultaniusly (power and battery NOT AC led) and the computer will decide to drain itself of the battery, then stop without warning (with connected AC).

This will happen under simple highload AND webbrowsing. My dough said Toshiba PC health integrated program is 'good' and that CPU Temp is not more 70% and the fan works as it should. When I remove and reconnect the AC adapter it will stop blinking and start to load for a minute and then start all over again.

I tried to remove and reinstall the battery Module controller via Device Manager and Reset BIOS by disconnecting all power and hold for 30 seconds, these two methods do not fix my problem.

The computer still works on AC if the battery is removed and the only devices I plugged in a USB mouse that is NOT plugged into the slot of the USB3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated or if someone knows what that flashing lights twin mean on a table of errors, or something (because I can't find the online error codes). It's my first laptop and I bought this one thinking that I could do most of my stuff a desk would be, but it's just been a nightmare...

Thanks in advance, if you need more info let me know.

I recommend you test another, a good pile of work.
Not quite sure if he s really make a battery but in all cases of problems of load, the battery should be checked as well as another adapter.

  • Question CTRL on my Satellite L750

Hello! I have a new Toshiba Satellite L750. I use it mainly for MS office, including word and excel. I do a lot of copying and pasting the text, usingn ctrl-c and Ctrl + v.

I noticed the days when I do a lot of copy, all of a sudden, count it behaves as if the ctrl key is stuck. The keyboard is not working properly, so, for example if I type "c" it is not type the letter but rather fulfils the function, as if I pressed ctrl-c.

My mouse still works, so I can save and close. When I restart, the problem is temporarily resolved. This happens about once a day!

I called Toshiba support and the first two technicians had me restrat and rpess F9 to restore the settings. The third has said is a key to "sticky" and I need to send the computer in for repair. I am really reluctant to do!

Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you very much! Jennifer

In my opinion, everything is OK but maybe RAM is overloaded, resulting in this annoying problem.
    > When I reboot, the problem is temporarily resolved.
I think that there is evidence for my theory. With time the memory is going to be overloaded and the problem recurs.

To be honest, I do even all day but I n t have such problems. OK I n t copy a lot of things.

I mean that your machine is two years old. Since when did you notice this sound issue?
    > Well, he stops only to built-in PC speakers.
This means that using headphones or external speakers, everything works correctly?

  • Satellite L750-1WW - Windows 7 Home premium OEM reinstall

    Hello

A few days ago, I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L750-1WW used (about 3 years).

The only issue with it is, that there Windows 7 Professional and of course corrupt, but the original OS was Home Premium. This laptop will be my mother, and I don't want to (and also) to pass messages each time you start: "this copy of Windows is not genuine" and other things.

Another thing: there is no recovery partition! I couldn't do a simple system restore...
However, it is a key product for HP Win7 64 bit on the bottom of the PC, it does not work on any Windows 7 (Home Premium - Ultimate - Professinal, 32-64 bit), I tried all the possibilities.

I asked Microsoft Community to give me assistance on the resettlement of the original operating system.

They told me to say to my Toshiba problem, because only the manufacturer can wake the system, or reinstall the original OS.
So now, I ask you for help.

    Greetings,
    Csaba

    Hello

    > Another thing: there is no recovery partition!
Of course the previous owner has modified (formatted) HARD drive and the table partitions, and consequently, the recovery of partitions isn't available.

The serial key you will find at the bottom of the unit does not have in relation to the clean Microsoft Windows operating system. He touches s an OEM and belongs to the Toshiba system preinstalled.

If you want to get the original operating system preinstalled, you can order the recovery disk. The recovery disk would fix the laptop to factory condition.

Here, you could get this disc:

  • Satellite L750 - could not start recovery image installation

    Hi guys,.

I struggle to restore the original configuration (format) my toshiba satellite L750 push button power and zero (0) button together.

I did factory restore before setting because there is a virus on my laptop. After format, all right. Now my laptop is infected with the virus once again, but I won't be able to format my laptop more. Whenever I press the power button / stop and zero button (0) I always hear a beep and won't stop until I press zero (0).
    I have before partition.

My question is why I couldn't format my laptop more like how I use before (by pressing the power button / stop and zero button)?

Can someone help me how to format my laptop the button works / stop and zero button does not?

  • Good question on Satellite L750

    Hello

I have a little problem with my computer, the Toshiba Satellite L750.

Whenever I turn on the computer, the sound will work for 4 or 5 minutes on the internal speakers.

After that his Cup. But this doc is weird is that the gauge moves, he did sound does not come out. For now, the sound works fine when I connect headphones or external speakers.

I tried a lot of solutions. I even installed Linux on another partition. In any case, the speakers will be stop after awhile.

+ The message was edited: assignment has been translated.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. If there is no problem with headphones or external speakers somewhere I think there must be a technical problem.

Maybe his cuts off because the faulty cable connection.
Tis must be studied, so I think that the best solution for you is to contact Toshiba service nearest and ask for help.

  • Satellite L750 - need help with the identification of the hardware parts

    Hi all

I have a Satellite L750 motherboard and need to replace the header/plug in which is plugged in my cable from the screen.

Would you be able to tell me what's the name of components and where to find it please.

This kind of repair on laptops is very complicated because there is no certain stores where you can order these parts. Usually if something doesn't work not the whole mainboard needs to be replaced.

I can only imagine that you can find a few faulty mainboard (faulty CPU/GPU) and just swap this connector.

Why can I not install Windows 8 Preview of consumption on my Toshiba Satellite L750-22 x?
I get an error of processor compatibility.

    Intel i3 M380 2.53 GHz

    Hello

The Internet provides some details on this error message.
It seems that to install Win 8 CP the CPU must support PAE/NX/SSE2 features

Never execute Bit ([NX bit | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NX_bit]) allows the marking of memory pages as non-executable.
Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2) is an earlier standard that is supported by Intel and AMD CPU. This is why all processors that support NX would also support SSE2 too.

Usually, this allows the XD (for Intel processors) or NX (for AMD) in the BIOS should disable this error message.
But if it is not available in the BIOS, then either the CPU is not supported this feature or the BIOS does not support this option.

According to the page Intel Ark Intel Core i3 - 380 M supports the Execute Disable Bit feature. So maybe the BIOS does not support this feature
    http://Ark.Intel.com/products/50178/Intel-Core-i3-380M-processor-

It seems that you have to wait for the new BIOS
