  I have a L755 Satellite with Windows 7, IE 9 and Office Home 2010.
  When I boot windows 7 seems to load OK, the main problem is that IE9 takes an another 15mins to start after you click the icon.

  You should see if ie9 starts ok if no add ons are loaded. Pull the top of the window "Run" by pressing the key "Windows" + R and entering this C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe [-extoff].
