  OK, I found the answer. It was a hard reset. Just hold the Start button for 20 seconds (or until it no longer flashes) then wait a bit and you can restart the laptop.

  My A60 stops after 2-3 seconds when I press the power button to open the laptop.   Yesterday, I bought the Z5 and if I hold down the power button, my ringtone started playing.  If I pressed again, it will start playing again on the other ring and my only option is to use the key to toggle to turn off the sound, but when I turn the volume to the top it will still play so my only option to stop it is to restart.  It is whenever I have press and hold the power button.
