Satellite L775D-107 - fault GPU or monitor?

Since yesterday, I have problems with my laptop and do not know what to do.

Then the screen shows everything, but changed some colors and allows their flickering pink or green.
I got the laptop connected to an external monitor.

There, everything works fine, only its own monitor seems to turn. Therefore, I conclude an internal error from the graphics card.

Can you help me with this problem?
I have the laptop for about two years, but can respect. All documents no longer find purchase.

I am grateful for any intelligence or information.

Hello

If the external monitor works properly, then the graphics card is not affected... his graphics card problem not but, no doubt, internal laptop display panel started malfunctioning...
I guess that display replacement would fix it...

Generally, the standard warranty is valid for one year.
If you wish, you can check the status of the warranty on this page from Toshiba:

If the warranty is not valid, you will pay for a fix

  • Satellite M30-107: WPA and WEP security software

I want to connect my Satellite M30-107 P - M 745 to a network of wifi MIMO inverters to date.
I bought a router and a PCMCIA adapter.
I wish security WPA and WEP setup - I need any special software Toshiba on the PC itself to do so, or simply use the software that came with the router and adapter card?
    Thank you

    Hello

There is no software Toshiba for the WLAN settings. Toshiba has created the only monitoring software called ConfigFree. By using this software, you can watch the WLAN and LAN connections. This software can also help you identify a connectivity problem if occurs.

Back to your question: for WLAN settings, you can use the standard Windows WLAN settings or use WLAN data by software adapter settings. Please, make sure the wireless network adapter supports WEP and WPA encryption and also make sure you use the right settings on the router.

  • SM bus controller toshiba satellite l775d-s7340

I have a Toshiba Satellite l775D-S7340 with Windows 7 64 bit AMD A6 - 3400 m APU with graphics card Radeon HD 1.40 GHz quad core, 6 GB of Ram but in device manager SM Bus controller is missing and he won't play any game.

Toshiba has probably one of the worst sites to search for drivers, but...

    Go here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=3132760&rpn=PSK40U&modelFilter=&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663

in the drop-down menus, select "Windows 7 (64 bit)" and "drivers." Download the AMD display driver and the xHC AMD driver and install them.

Since it is an APU (CPU + GPU), everything is linked together in a single chip. I'm not really sure of what is included in the xHC driver, but the best I could find is that it is similar to the chipset driver. It shouldn't surely all this trouble by installing (or put it back, if the revision levels are the same).

  • Satellite M40-107: cannot re - install Powersaver - Code 0x7E

Recently, I had to re - install Windows Xp on my Satellite M40-107 (PSM40E). Everything went well. Finally, I wanted to install the powersaver and I downloaded the latest version for my machine from the Toshiba web site. Installation fine until I press the complete installation (kerncentrale).

A pop-up window appears with the message: fatal error, this programme will be completed. Code 0x7E.

After restarting the same message appears until the powersaver is removed from the Board to run.

    Hello

It seems that there is no general solution for this problem.
I found and read a few comments on the similar problem, and it seems that the Toshiba recovery CD installation will eliminate this error message popup.

  • Satellite T110-107 - Touchpad does not properly

I love my Satellite T110-107, but there are problems with the touchpad.

    (1) the mouse cursor does not move sometimes. With this one, I get to move taking both hands away from the laptop for a while.
    (2) the cursor of the mouse all of a sudden 'draws' of the right hand of the screen.

I tried to change the sensitivity of the touchpad to the minimum and maximum levels, I adjusted the sensitivity 'Palm', but nothing seems to help other than by the low sensitivity that helps a little.

I also noticed that when the laptop is on my lap, the problem is worse than if it's on a table.

I think it's a problem with an accumulation of static electricity on the case.

    Other ideas?

    Hey Buddy,

I use the Satellite T110 for months now and really and no problem. Everything is great and I don t have problems. It the laptop really great s!

There must be something wrong with your installation.
First of all, I would recommend updating the driver from the touchpad. You can download the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com

After that you should test again. Also check the settings of the touchpad again. There are a large number of settings to improve the touchpad.

  • Satellite T110-107: touchpad problem - pointer move sometimes

    Good afternoon everyone,

Currently I have a series of Satellite T110-107 and have problems with the touchpad.

I start the computer and the touchpad works very well for a few seconds, after that, the touch pad stops working to full capacity.
If I wander my fingers on the touchpad and the pointer does not move, sometimes it will move up and down, but not as it should.

It is a common problem, or is it a hardware problem... or is it the fact that I'm just not accustomed to having the correct settings on windows7?

All help reveal be great, because it's very frustrating!

    Kind regards!

    Hello

I found a few tips and tricks that you should try.

First, you must change the sensitive touchpad settings to lower the level.
Go to control panel-> mouse and all the settings for the touchpad to the value has a less sensitive level.

You should also right click Synaptics Pointing Device (in the taskbar) and get in the middle of the page Double click speed on.
Move the slider to half way down the beach. This should help you too.

Last but not leas, you will need to disable zoom pinch.
Go to the icon in the lower right corner Synaptics pointing device, click on 'The pointing device properties', click on the "Device settings" tab, then the settings button. Uncheck "Enable Pinch Zoom" under "Pinch Zoom".

    Greetings

  • Re: Satellite L630 - 107 (PSK04E) - some Win 8 drivers are missing

    I use Toshiba Satellite L630 - 107 (PSK04E).
    Recently I installed windows 8.

Some drivers as a value-added package are not proceed with the installation... so I can't turn off my wireless...
Can someone help me get rid of this problem?

    Hello

I never checked if this computer L630 laptop (PSK04E) will get the Win 8 drivers?
Here you can check if your series is win 8 supported:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/generic/Windows8-message
If it is not listed, then the drivers Win 8 coming out.

However, the VAP should not be linked to any laptop model usually it should be possible to install the VAP even on different models.
Recommend to choose a VAP released already for other series

  • Satellite P845t-107 - Linux kernel does not start

    Hello!

Recently, I bought my first laptop from Toshiba-> Satellite P845t-107.
Unfortunately, I have a very big problem with him: none of my emergency tools work.

So I will have no chance to save the HD data when Windows is broken and I can't find a clean system viruses.
All these tools are based on Linux.

I use these tools I never had such problems with all of the dozens of computers where I had to use already in all years.

I tried to get help in the Linux forums.
They had several ideas, but none of them worked. GRUB, boots (because compatible UEFI and secure boot is disabled).

But after I selected the parameters of the kernel to start with, it gets stuck in a very early stage, without any error message.

Toshiba makes obviously something of very very different from other computer manufacturers.
So please tell me how I can make my emergency tools do work again.
    Thank you!

    Notting

    Hello

In the BIOS, you must disable secure boot and should spend UEFI to CSM.
Then you should be able to boot from other sources.

  • WLan disconnects when Satellite T110-107 of router

    I ve a Satellite T110-107 * with windows 7/64-bit

Linking the T110 in my home network wireless works perfectly near the router.
When I move away from it drops wireless.

Previously, he worked far away from the router.
I tested with other machines and the wireless still works well on them... I've already updated the driver, but the problem persists.

    What can I do more?

    Thank you

    > Before, it worked far away from the router.

What have you changed in the past?
Maybe something in the settings of the WLan router?

What about the Wan channel option (1-12) that can be set in the settings of the Wlan router?
I recommend you to check different channels.

In addition you should go to power options Windows and need to disable for the WLan in advanced energy saving power settings

  • Satellite L775D-S7135 not covered by the warranty in Europe?

I bought your product here in Serbia and it is correctly registered on the Toshiba site for the LITTLE MATTER this warranty (I got the confirmation e-mail that I registered on 27 January 2014 [email protected]).

On January 8, 2014, I contacted by phone Toshiba Service for the Serbia to ask for the support of the failed product. They checked my serial number and after that they confirmed that I am user Toshiba, they directed me to the authorized service of Toshiba for the Serbia 'Service '.

I filled in the online form and authorized service took my laptop.
After 10 days they informed me yesterday that my model is for the American market and they cannot repair my device?

I just called the Toshiba support via phone again and they informed me that some sort of Toshiba internal error has occurred and that my model, well as regularly bought in Serbia is in fact the model for the American market, and they apologize to me for the inconvenience.

This is my fourth Toshiba laptop and I opted to buy it because I've never had problems with my Toshiba laptop (no need to support service) previous. Now, my first contact with the support from Toshiba is quite disturbing and devastating.

I hope I can get some timely and helpful response from you that will preserve my long-term confidence in your products and finally to help me solve this problem, I have known

Thanks in advance for any help

  • Satellite C650-107 - CPU Upgrade

    Hello

I have the opportunity to acquire a new processor which should be compatible with the support of motherboard of the laptop, but I wonder if it will work even on the laptop. Computer laptop is Toshiba Satellite C650-107, it comes originally with i3 - 330 M, but I can develop i5 - 530 M. Intel story confirms that both processors use the same socket as have same TDP so cooling should not be a problem. Can someone tell me if the BIOS will load the upgrade or the laptop does not work even with the processor?

BTW, material is out of warranty, so this isn't something to worry about.

Well, since I had some free time, I disassembled the C650-107 and replaced the CPU. I made a mistake, it wasn't i5 - 560 M, 530 m. It works like a charm, if anyone is wondering if it still works, it does not, no problem what-so-ever. I just put a few stress tests to make sure that it works without overheating and maximum temperature, I noticed then was 80 degrees celsius it is within the Intel specification.

  • Satellite M30-107 does not start successfully after using recovery disk

    Hello

I recently got my hands on a toshiba Satellite M30-107 laptop second hand and decided to freshen it.
I used the toshiba recovery disk, but after that the laptop is no longer support windows.

When turned on it shows booting Toshiba disc for about a second then goes to a screen blank and freezes.
When turned on, once again, a screen will appear an error by stopping and offer the opportunity to start in SafeMode etc but choose one of the options causes the machine to freeze.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you
    JT

    Hello

Sounds a little like the laptop does not start because of the problem of Windows software
You did not recover the M30 with the original Toshiba that was provided with this device M30 recovery CD?

I may be wrong, but to me it looks like a recovery CD incorrect has been used and an image with drivers not compatible m has been installed

You can try to install the OS of Microsoft Win XP original CD and could check if it would be possible to get the notebook ruin using own BONE.

In this case we (you and me ;)) might know if this problem could be related to hardware or software.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L775D-10W - stucks Boot: black screen + mouse cursor visible

    Dear supporters,

    Model: Satellite L775D-10W
    Operating system: Win7 64 bit
Problem: The procedure start STRP stuck after "Windows load data" and a progress undertitled with 'Microsoft Corporation' bar, resulting a black screen and a mobile mouse cursor.

The same problem occurs every time...
pressing F8 > options (safe vaissaille mode) > start gets stuck
Boot from DVD of Win7 64 bit > startup gets stuck
Boot from DVD of Win7 64 bit > options > start gets stuck

It is likely that the graphics card is broken or that the driver no longer appropriate?

Thank you for your time in advance!

    Greetings

    Carpet

Graphics card problem may be possible but in this case the POST (power on self test) would not be passed, and in my opinion, it is not possible to access the BIOS.

    However, it's just a theory
Try to start Notepad using some Live CD like Linux

I would also recommend to start the advanced boot menu. (by pressing F8) and choose repair my computer option.
    Then select Toshiba HDD recovery

This option would be to recover the laptop back to factory settings.
