  I m not a Satellite A505 owner but on my Satellite A300, I had the same problem. It starts automatically and awakened from sleep mode automatically.

  So I searched a bit here in the forum and I founded to turn off Wake up on LAN, Wake up on keyboard and load USB Sleep &. I n t need these features so I disabled it in the BIOS and my problem has been solved now! :)
