Satellite P750 stops unexpectedly

Hello

I am the owner of a Satellite P750 and when I try and run index performance Windows or Grand theft auto 4 the laptop stops, no caveat comes never goes.

Its driving me crazy.

Hello

Usually the laptop automatically stops due to hardware or software problem. This occurs to prevent material damage.
But generally, this happens because of the high temperature.

Have you noticed the temperature because of the game?

Could the temperature goes up because of the dust or debris inside the cooling fans.
In such cases its recommend to clean the fans and get rid of the dust and debris using a jet of compressed air. This tool is really nice and it helps you to clean up the cooling module.

    Hello

Recovery of the laptop back to factory settings.
You use the Win 8 or Win 7 system?

Usually, books Win 7 supports a HARD drive recovery by pressing F8-> fix my computer-> drive HARD recovery.

If the same problem appears on the right after the system has been recovered, I guess there is a hardware problem and a technician must check the hardware parts.

  • Satellite M30X stops unexpectedly

My laptop started to stop dead without warning, even with a battery and during loading of the power outlet.

No downtime, no low battery beeps, no alert - just screen shuts off and the power light turns off. No idea what this may mean, or whatever it is I can run for more information?

Immediate departure after a crash screen displays 'Windows stop not properly', but 'Start Windows normally' works very well.

Maybe overheating! What do you think? Satellite M30x is pretty old laptop and perhaps it should be properly cleaned. Stops dust atop the cooling grill, process cooling and the material may be too hot.

Turn off suddenly without warning typical results from overheating.

  • Satellite A100 stops unexpectedly

For awhile, I had a problem with my laptop A100.

Well, I said for some time, but the first occurrence was a week ago and it was held four times in a row today.

What is happening is that even if I have the laptop that works next to my desk, he simply stops without notice.
It is connected to the DC cable, all the lights in the front are green, but it looks awfully hot.
And it's on the desk, he sat for 1.5 years.

On the one hand, I wonder if this problem could be related to heat.

Once it is closed, it will not immediately start again. I have to wait a few minutes before he wants to go again.
I ran the battery software to check if he could have the Sony battery, but it doesn't.

I don't know what is the cause and I hope you can help me to know what is the cause.

    Hi guys

I have exactly the same idea in my opinion the dust and debris prevents the cooling module working properly and therefore the temperature rises to a higher level.

The high temperature is the main reason why the laptop stops automatically.
It is a kind of thermal protection which prevents the equipment from damage.

Then try to clean the fans with a professional pneumatic sprayer. These aerosols can be purchased from dealers for different laptop/computer.

    Best regards and good luck

  • Satellite P750-02R - put on by button / stop

My part number Satellite P750-02R PSAY3A-02R001 used to power on/off button, but will only start up by pressing the Play/Pause button on the control panel above the keyboard media.

I checked the BIOS to V1.90 and done a system restore. A ran diagnostics and no luck, the laptop turns off not via the power button, and if anyone has any ideas, I would be happy, otherwise, so I have to take it back to Toshiba because it is still under warranty.
    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

I'm a little confused about your ad first, you wrote that you can t turn on your laptop via the Start button / stop and you must write m notebook turn off via the power button not / stop. This confusion of s

Anyway, you should turn on your laptop if you press and hold the s computer power button for a couple seconds.

If you want to turn off your laptop with this button, you must configure Windows power management. You can define an action for the s computer power button if the laptop would shut down, sleep, Hibernate, or nothing. Don t forget this must be set for each plan of power if you change them.

  • Satellite P750-115 - multimedia touch buttons stopped responding

    Satellite P750-115 part number: PSAY3E-02E002EN

This is the laptop I bought recently a month ago. The touch buttons above the keyboard no response at all. I tried to reinstall the VAP in hopes that would solve this problem, however, the buttons are still unresponsive.

Can you help with this problem?

    Hey,.

What operating system is currently installed? You use the operating system preinstalled Toshiba or another?

The touch buttons are controlled by added value package. If you reinstall the package that they should work again especially the Toshiba recovery image is installed.

Have you checked the BIOS if there is an option for enlightened buttons? You should active defined and also to load the default settings.

  • Satellite P750-10 t - (Eco, WLAN, Volume, etc.) function keys not working not

    Hello world

    I have a problem with my Satellite P750-10 t (PSAY3E-02000KGR, Windows 7 64 bit, German-language edition).

The "Function keys" top line, naming Eco Mode button, WLAN button, program Start button, Play/Pause button, Mute button and Volume-/ + buttons stopped working a week ago. They light up correctly when starting the corresponding modes (e.g. Eco Mode lights up green when the Eco utility is in Eco mode by mouse) or when turning on keyboard backlight, but they do not react on the touch of the finger.
As a result, I am unable to use WLAN because I can't turn on the WIFI laptop feature.

I already reinstalled Toshiba Flash Cards and value-added package of programs without success.

You have any suggestions to solve the problem? Thank you very much.

    Best regards from Germany,

  • FN + F8 does not not on Satellite P750

We had no problem using the connection Wireless on our portable Satellite P750 but this morning, my husband did the FN + F8 key, the light went out, came back almost immediately and we lost the Wi - Fi connection.
When you again push FN + F8 it says to switch to wireless communication.

Note: we looked for top, bottom, sides and back and can't find any switch, or whatever it is with the same symbol that the F8 key a on that mighjt be a switch.

There no befoire switch or after pressing FN + F8 so I don't know how the switch or wherever it is might be off.

On look under network connections there is nothing to indicate that the Wireless does not work. the mobile phone can connect via the wireless so its something on the computer itself.
I searched other threads and nothing useful has developed.

    Hello

Have you tried to restart the notebook and WLAN connectivity to test again?

I n t have this model of laptop, but can you please check if the WLAN button is placed between the keyboard and the display. It must be one of the function buttons.

According to the manuals (page 47), it must be the third button from the left (button / stop, eco button, then the WLAN button). Can you enable/disable WLAN using this button?

    Please test and send feedback.

  • All USB 2.0 ports had ceased to work on the Satellite P750-135

All USB 2.0 ports had stopped working on my Toshiba Satellite P750-135

Bought this laptop about half a year ago has been mostly reliable, but a couple of days ago two of my USB ports stopped working and now the third.
Just the USB 3.0 port works.

Not sure if this is a hardware or software problem, but if I try to plug whatever it is, there is no response at all.

Need help please, I don't know how to resolve this...

Have you installed a few 3rd party software that might affect the functionality of USB 2.0?
The USB ports started working after the removal of the Device Manager USB controllers?

  • WEb camera initializtion failed in Satellite P750-114

    Dear all,

I am facing a problem with the webcam in my Toshiba Satellite P750-114. The laptop is less than two months the webcam was working fine, then all of a sudden it stopped working. The error message is "Web camera initialization failed. Please check your device and restart the application or computer. The Microphone works well, since it is linked to the web camera device. The operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. It seems that the operating system does not see that there is a webcam more. I tried the following things:

    1. I uninstalled the web camera driver, downloaded the latest driver from Toshiba Web site (the link is http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/supportMyProduct.do?service=UK) and installed, but it did not work.
2 - I have restored the original for the laptop settings, but still the webcam does not work.

Two ways that I use to test the web camera: the Skype and Start/Toshiba/Utilities ' Web Camera Application"

Please if anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem, the laptop is band again and it is fantastic, but this problem is annoying. I searched the Internet for similar problems, some Toshiba models suffer from this problem but not P750-114.

    Help, please

    Bashar

    > I have restored the original for the laptop settings, but still the webcam does not work.
This means that you have installed the OS using HARD drive recovery facility (factory settings)?

  • How to calibrate the battery for Satellite P750

It is a few months old... I think it can be calibrated

Can someone please tell me how to recalibrate the battery.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

You can calibrate the battery very easily.
Disconnect the power adapter and leave the laptop disconnected until the battery is completely discharged.
Then plug in the power adapter and charge the battery until the battery indicator (LED) would turn to green.
This must be done and repeated 2 - 3 times in the line.

  • Satellite P750: Unable to connect to the other PC with WLAN

However, I can connect to the internet ok.

    Hello

You should enable the option called Ad-hoc to peer option in your WLan settings!
    Go to network connections
    Select connections-> properties-wireless
    Add the new network
Here you must configure this (insert SSID, encryption, and password), and don t forget to check this is a computer-to-computer (ad hoc) network

  • Satellite P750 keeps closing

Hi guys, I am a newcomer.

My friend, but I have a Toshiba Satellite P750 (PSAY3A - 05S 001) and had trouble with her then she asked me if I could fix it and I accepted his favor.

According to her, the laptop cannot boot on the windows that display an error to the screen, and she added that the keyboard does not seem to work that gives me and it's just a hard drive error or should reformat.

I applied the solution to his problem, but it seems that it's not simple, because after formatting the laptop keeps closing and start on its own. I asked him about the closure, and she has no idea why so much. She added that the laptop can be tempered.

I tried to open up the laptop, but unfortunately I was scared and screwed back together.

    Hello

Unfortunately there is no specific information on this laptop, and that's what we have here is nothing more than speculation.
If the laptop was soaked that there are probably maonboard the troublemaker and should probably be replaced.

Error, the screen keyboard is not working, laptop guard stop and start on its own... all of this indicates that this model of laptop has a serious hardware problem and I sure it's m motherboard.
Please don't get me wrong, but your opportunities to do something about it are very limited and I think this laptop should be controlled by technicians. They have special diagnostic tools and they can check if there is a problem with the motherboard.

  • Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.

Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.  When I try to catch the separator bar to go back to the left, only half of the small arrow icon and line appears, and it cannot be moved.   Can open the message by double clicking a message viewer.

    Hi there, alicefrompa!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I understand that you do not see the Message Viewer box which allows you to read your e-mails; only see you the Inbox that includes a brief overview of the message and are unable to restore access using the separator bars. I have had this happen to my own Mail app and am happy to let you know how I could fix!

You are really on the right track - you want to roll your mouse over the divider between the Inbox and sections Message Viewer (which should now be on the extreme right edge of your mail window) and drag it to the left.  When you click on the receipt/Message Viewer box, the cursor turns into a line continuous black with a single arrow pointing to the left. When you see the cursor change, click with the left button of the mouse and (while holding down the mouse button in) drag the combination line / arrow to the left. You may need to drag a little further than before to get it. I had to hang mine almost completely in the middle of my Mail app before the display of the message box appeared.

From there, you should be able to adjust the boxes to your widths you want as expected.

If you are still not able to get the display of the messages visible after have try this, here are a few more things that you can do.

    1. Press command + O on your keyboard.
    2. Exit the Mail application, and then press on and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening.
    3. Restart your Mac by selecting the menu  Apple in the upper right of your screen restart from the menu drop down.

    See you soon!
