  Did you download and install the correct version of the BIOS of your laptop? Satellite Pro L670-18F belongs to the series of PSK3FE AFAIK, so have you chosen BIOS for this series of model?

  In addition I recommend you load the default settings in the BIOS. Just press F9 key if you are in the BIOS Setup.

  The BIOS download page gives you only the Winflash & I need to Flash this laptop backpack... are installed Safeboot in NHS policy & I'm now stuck on the keyboard & touchpad, have you tried a USB keyboard without success.

  SafeBoot is a disk encryption package which initializes windows to start so I am unable to use Winflash.
  May need to find an operating system on a bootable CD if this based BACK Flash BIOS is not found...

  I've recently updated my Toshiba Satellite Pro L20 to 2 GB, DDR2 667 mhz (Corsair ValueSelect) RAM because the old 512 MB of ram would not cut it anymore with all these processes.
  Now, when I check my speed of ram with CPU - Z it says 200 mhz, whereas it should be at 333 mhz. I checked the chipset (Radeon Xpress 200 m) to ensure compatibility and it is compatible with ram to 667 mhz.

  Hi, I have recently updated the BIOS on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L20, and I noticed that the disk hard keeps spinning down after about a minute, even while typing or surfing on the internet.   Hope you can help. We have a 5 years satellite pro L20 who never gave a lot of days. It runs from Win XP, had an upgrade (crucial) memory to 2 GB and a new battery 4 years ago 4 years ago. 2 days ago, he simply left with the same noise you get when force a shutdown by holding the power button down.
