Satellite Pro L300-1FN PSLB9E PCI/controller XP drivers Ethernet

Hi all, I have downgraded my laptop XP Pro and downloaded the drivers concerned on the Toshiba site. I'm still waiting for Miss an Ethernet and PCI controller drivers. Someone at - it a link to the drivers for this model (Satellite Pro L300-1FN (short series: PSLB9E)) or know the serial number of the relevant evidence?

Thank you

Hello

Ethernet controller could be the WLan or LAN card.
Satellite Pro L300-1FN supports the 802.11(B/G)-RTL8187B REALTEK or ATHEROS 802.11 B/G Wlan card.
The LAN card must come from Realtek 10/100 Mbps

The WLan driver can be downloaded here:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

Driver LAN from here:
http://www.Realtek.com.tw/

See you soon

My Satellite Pro L300-1FN refuses to start. When turned on the laptop displays the home screen toshiba/insyde H20 BIOS and the message "press F2 go to the Setup utility, F12 to go to the start menu" and flashes the light access to the hard drive, but don't try to continue loading. I left the bios at the start screen, but it doesn't do anything for long hours on a power supply or is running the battery flat while on battery.

Is there a way to re - put the BIOS on this unit? If it's a desktop unit I would remove the CMOS battery to force a reset of the BIOS but that's impossible on a laptop. The hard drive is fine because I have it plugged into another system to remove valuable data.

    Hello

What happens if you press F2 when starting the laptop to the top?
    You can access the BIOS?
If so, access the BIOS and set its default value. I think you need to press F9 or F10 to get default parameters, but this will be mentioned at the bottom of the page of the BIOS.

  • Satellite Pro L300 - 1FJ PSLB9E enters mode "sleep" instead of power

    Hi all...

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L300-1AF, and I noticed this issue only recently.

It works and everything it ok it runs Windows XP Pro SP3 and works normally, however when I stopped it closes down and runs out of windows and the amber standby LED starts to pulse if it is in standby mode.
Then, I turn to it now and back again with the power button to stop a pulse.

So in short, it seems that windows closes down successfully, but then the laptop goes into sleep / standby mode instead of turning it off. Anyone know why this is happening?

    Hello
Are you sure that you have chosen the Option: Power OFF instead of the Mode standby?
As much as I know Win XP does not additional option to configure SHUTDOWN on the start menu.

    But you should check this:

Go to control panel-> power options control
Here in select it a feeding area, click Change plan settings
In the advanced settings window, click on the + next to the power buttons and lid.
Now, you will see the options available.
Under the cover option and power buttons, click on the + sign next to the start menu power button.
Then click on the parameter and choose stop down.

  • Satellite Pro L300-1FL - WLAN network adapter does not exist

    Model: Satellite Pro L300-1FL (PSLB9E)
    Operating system: XP Pro SP2
    Wireless card: PA3616u-1mpc (atheros AR5007)

the laptop came with pre-installed vista, everything worked very well (including wireless), although a little slowly, but decided to downgrade to xp. integrated SATA drivers into my xp with nlite installation disc. XP installed fine. visited the toshiba support site and downloaded all the drivers for xp and install.

Despite the installation of the wireless driver there is still no present in the wireless network card device driver. It is an "unknown" device listed, which I think is the wireless card.

at first I was not sure what card appeared so systematically installed that all options of wlan of the toshiba download page [intel/atheros/realtek], none has worked. little more digging autour and discovery was a then reinstalled atheros atheros wlan client on the toshiba site. still did not work. found a update atheros ar5007 driver installed, still no joy.

forward wireless switch is on [the orange light] and has been throughout the process. have you tried enabling / disabling fn + F8, which doesn't do anything.

I think I read somewhere (having read much too many post on this over the last few days!) that update the BIOS to version 2.4 can solve the problem. However the version offered for my model by the toshiba page BIOS update is 2.1 (which I've updated when you install all drivers in xp) and I'm not that eager to update the BIOS to a version that is not supported by toshiba, because I have no idea how fix an incorrect BIOS prevents starting the computer.

When you look at the BIOS option "wake we wireless" is grayed out and not selectable. There is no other network without wire/related parameters. This might infer that the BIOS does not recognize the card wireless for some reason any. whereas he should have before, I started to lose its time, as worked it fine under vista wireless. so I think that upgrading the BIOS might have broken, although I can't be sure that I've updated the BIOS until I realize that the without wire did not work under XP, so it could have been broken before the BIOS update. Does this sound plausible? also, I have no idea how if is take to solve this - you can downgrade the BIOS?

any help greatly appreciated - have been pulling on my hair for 2 days now and there is only so much googling, you can do before find yourself you constantly re - visiting the same sites over and over again!

    Thank you

    ~ andy

worried that he may have been conflict for different drivers wlan I had initially installed, so have done a complete re - format and re-installation of xp. Install the drivers, including the wlan driver atheros. but still no adapter wlan in Device Manager.

the unknown device in the other section of the Device Manager is listed as an ethernet controller; However glancing upward from the PCI/VEN # (C & DEV_001C 168) on the basis of data from the provider PCI identifies that this is indeed the atheros card.

This means that it is not a hardware/BIOS problem as I previously suspected. XP can 'see' the device, but for some reason, the driver won't work. Hmm

someone at - it had a similar problem? is it just a matter of finding the "correct" driver

    Thank you

  • Driver XP SATA for Satellite Pro L300 PSLB9E

Hi all I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 PSLB9E and I am trying to downgrade from Vista to XP. I have the sata AHCI controller mode, I looked for this drivers on the toshiba site and the site of intel, but none of these work when installing xp and pressing f6 when you use a usb floppy drive. Any ideas?

    Hello

If you have set the compatible SATA mode in the BIOS, then you n t need to install all the drivers SATA!
Compatibility mode allows you to run the HARD drive without SATA drivers.

But if you want to use the HDD in SATA mode, then you will set back to AHCI.
In this case the SATA drivers must be installed in order to use the HDD in SATA mode.

The laptop seems to be equipped with the AMD CPU and so you need a SATA chipset AMD driver. That are in the package of graphics (record SBDrv/SATA") driver

    Welcome them

    Hello

After reading almost all threads talking about it, I know that I need a driver for my chipset, but Satellite PRO L300 PSLB9E what controller use exactly?
How can I see what it or could someone tell me?

For example, I have this list.
Which one should I install? Where can I find it?

Lot of thanks and sorry for the mistakes, I am not very strong in English

You need to install the SATA drivers before you install Windows. If you have two options:

1 copy the drivers on a floppy disk. After that, you start from the Windows CD and press F6 to load drivers.

2 do. you a new installation with nLite disc. Search forum, there is a lot of discussion on this topic.

If you have problems to do this, ask here in the forum. ;)

    Hello

I have a Satellite Pro L300 (PSLB9A - 02L 001). Have'nt after being on the dial for the year last I was wireless (it worked well before that) but am now back on broadband but I don't seem to have any wireless.
Checked the Device Manager and there is a yellow exclamation next to the ethernet controller and it seems there is no pilot, but apart from that, there is no further details. I tried to update the driver but it cannot find the driver on my computer and it will not search the Internet for this.

I tried, but none of the drivers I downloaded seems to work...
At the back of the computer laptop is a sticker - PA3613U-1MPC, I think it's the wifi card that is missing the driver but I can't find a driver for it for the life of me...

    Any help would be wonderful.

My son came back from uni with his laptop which, to quote ' is knacked - no idea what the problem - been like that for weeks...» »

(I would provide more information, if I could, but can't until I can start to check specifications)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

BSOD can be caused by a hardware or software problem.
First of all, you should check if it s not software related issue.
In such cases, it of needed to reinstall the Windows operating system.
Usually the new OS installed should not cause any BSOD!

If the Toshiba Recovery disk does not help you, then you should start to investigate
It may be a cause of modules defective memory BSOD issue very often.

However, if you have no knowledge about computers, then you should ask a technician to downtown to control parts.

    Hello.

To start XP, I need to enable "Compatibility" (Controller SATA in BIOS mode) and seven is "AHCI" must be activated.

Yes you can do it but I'm afraid, you must reinstall Windows XP Home edition m.
Why? Because before beginning to install Windows XP Home edition, you must change it to AHCI mode, launch the installation of Windows XP Home edition and before you start you need to load the SATA driver (via F6 I think).

Long time ago, we have discussed a lot about this on this forum then use the advanced search anc check options other postings on this subject.

  • Satellite Pro L300 - XP runs slowly

    Satellite Pro L300 PSLB9E - Windows XP
Works slow intermittently, but shows inactive in the Task Manager. Disable anti virus etc, but always slowly works intermittently.

    Can anyone offer advice please?

    Hey mate,

First I must say that it is really hard to say why your laptop is running slowly. There are several reasons for this problem, but it would be interesting to know if you have installed the operating system preinstalled by Toshiba or did you install XP yourself using a disc of Microsoft? In this case, you should try this again with the Toshiba recovery disc. It contains a picture of the factory settings and so, your laptop should work correctly.

In addition, I would recommend to defragment the HARD disk, disable some services and startup programs that you don't need and you try a good antivirus like AntiVir. After that, clean you the registry with CCleaner.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite Pro L300 WiFi continues to drop and doesn't reconnect until you restart

Hi, I have a Satellite Pro L300, number of model PSLB9E - 00G007EN running windows Vista professional.

Recently I started trying to connect to my wifi at home instead of using the ethernet cable.

Research shows my home network and then I connect with the password, everything all right at this stage, sometimes an hour, sometimes for 10 minutes and then the connection disappears. When I try and re-connect it does not find any wifi network, but I have not moved from where I was when I was connected. I have I-phones, etc. and another laptop running windows 8 connected wireless, and there is no problem with any other machine, just my toshiba!

Sometimes if I turn off the wifi using the switch at the front and then put it again which solves it, but once again only for another 10/20 or 30 minutes. Sometimes even that does not work and I have to restart the machine to find the network! It works, but once again for a limited period until he gave up the connection and it disappears again, back to square one.

I even tried to take this work and connect to the wi - fi, but still exactly the same thing happens, so I think I can rule out problems with my home network / router.

I'm not very good with computers, but have managed to check if the driver is up-to-date, etc., and all appear here... Help, please!

Yes, you are right, the laptop seems to be equipped with the Realtek RTL8187B WLan card.
This wireless network card supports 802.11 B and G standard.

    First update the WLan driver.
Here you can find the latest WLan drivers available on the Realtek page:
    [Driver Realtek RTL8187 WLan: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=40&Level= 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = EU tr]

This driver is for Win XP / Vista / Win 7

In the event that the issue will not be resolved, go to the Device Manager.
Choose the WLan card-> properties and go to the Advanced tab
Here, choose either the 802 standard. 11 B or G. This setting depends on the settings of your router. If your router supports 802. 11 G, you must choose G

  • Satellite Pro L300 - Europe downloads site play?

Try to download the drivers for a series of Satellite Pro L300.

The site allows me to choose the model and series, but then presents some options for the operating system, so it lists the drivers available for this model.

Interestingly, this seems to affect all models on the site, so it doesn't seem to be possible to download the drivers from the site right now.

I would go to sites for other geographic areas such as North America, but this particular model (PSLB9E-04P007EN) doesn't seem to be sold or support outside Europe.

Yes. I noticed the same thing seems that there is a show temporally with the European driver Toshiba page. Maybe they have some maintenance or anything else
