  I have a problem with my satellite S70-B-10Z.
  The laptop is not so cool in recent months as it used to be. In fact is getting really hot on the right side of the keyboard. There is also a noise coming from the fan.   The laptop supports two graphic cards.
  Part internal GPU processor Intel and AMD Radeon R9 M265X is a unit of external graphics card

  To switch to the external GPU, right click on the desktop
  In Catalyst Control Center Power, click on select Maximum Performance when it is plugged

  Then in global settings of Switchable Graphics also choose maximize Performance

  Then click on the switchable graphics Application settings
  Now, you would be able to add an app (game) that could use this graphics card settings
  Simply tap the exe of the game and add to the list of applications.
  After that, you will see the exe file in the list. Click the graphics settings and set it to high performance.

  For a few weeks, I have a strange problem with matrix/screen of my laptop.
  The matrix flickers very often - no matter if the power cable is plugged in or not.
  The screen is full intensity and all of a sudden it starts flashing - it gets darker, lighter, usually for a few / dozen seconds. It does when no one touches or when I'm working on it.
  This very annoying and making eyes tired - he does it very fast and there is few levels of screen brightness.

  Sounds like the backlight or inverter fails, or there is a bad connection.

  Is the unit under warranty? Send it to an ASP for repair.

  You should avoid to repair yourself, the backlight is very high voltage!

  Hi all

  I have an S70 - A - 11 which was bought about 9 months ago

  Recently, I noticed a problem with the screen at first upward and it only seems to occur after the device has been turned off for a few hours.

  Loads of everything OK but there is a fine block of transparent blue at the bottom of the screen that can separate into lines, then disappear, or it could become pink and then disappear.

  Some days are worse that others and some days it appears not at all.
  Try to solve the problem is difficult because the device must be turned off for centuries before I can see if the problem persists it is why it would be easier to know what it was about in the first place! I tried to make a video to show you below:

  I did a BIOS update and I did a hard reset, but apart from that I'm not sure what I can do as I am not the most technical interest.

  The laptop is still under warranty it is not a problem, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem or knows what the problem is.

  I'm not quite sure what could cause this m screen issue, but you could check if the same thin transparent line will be visible on the external display.

  Connect a 2nd external monitor and check it.

  Where the same question would be seen on the external monitor, the graphics chip could be affected in the contrary case, it must be something wrong with the display panel

  Anyway, it looks like a hardware issue and its highly recommended to contact the authorized repair provider to check the related hardware parts

  I recommend you do so because security seems to still be valid because the laptop is only 9 months old.
